The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. Great little flat, but felt like a cottage. Great views of the bridge, river and castle, next to a busy road but no noise in the bedrooms, just the sound of the river. Short walk into town, with plenty of shops, cafes and pubs/places to eat. Accommodation matches all the photos and description and had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

Quirky place to stay. Great place to enjoy a celebration as it is equipped with a hot tub and sauna not to mention a bar and ample seating. It was a walk away from the theatre and some good restaurants too. Jenni and Brian are great hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Great spot for a short stay. Everything you need is at hand. Great having 2 bathrooms and parking, great size for a family of 4. Lovely and warm.

A great place. We had the mother in law with us so the downstairs bedroom and shower room were brilliant for her. Easily accessible with a lovely host. We will stay again when up visiting next time! Thank you Cate.

Myself & a friend were on a dad’s weekend away. The location and accommodation were fantastic. The cottage is close to great pubs, restaurants & outdoor activities. The cottage was very well equipped and really cosy with attention to detail to what guests might need and very thoughtful touches that were welcomed after a long journey. Jane was a fantastic host, very welcoming and very good at responding to our various questions on the lead up to our stay with what was happening in the local area and what to do. Would highly recommend and will hopefully be back in the future.

Wonderfully comfortable and cozy townhouse. It was exactly as described. Free parking in the back and the host provided free parking passes for on street parking in the front, enough for our entire stay. I would book again without hesitation.

We were there just for the night to sleep so didn’t have much time to experience the location but the home was exactly as described. It was in perfect condition being really clean and tidy. Hosts were very responsive before getting to the home. No issues whatsoever, really happy.

what a lovely property. we stayed for a family get together with 3 family's coming together. there was lots of on street parking and a great base to venture out of. We all would definitely stay again.

Barry and Sue are the most friendly and lively people. They met us at the property and the live they have for thee flat shone, which made our stay even more special as we equally fell in love with it. The town is lovely with lots of amazing restaurants and shops all in walkable distance. The Yorkshire Dales are great for exploring, regardless of the weather and all reachable within a short walk or drive. The property from the furnishing to equipment and bedding are all five star standard. We will definitely be back.

This is one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. The space is warm, quiet, extremely comfortable, with a lovely view. The host has done really well here with organising the space so that it feels clear and uncluttered yet somehow had everything we needed exactly when we needed it! We spent several weeks here and would highly recommend it for either short or long stays.

Rachel’s place is perfect. Beautifully done, clean and a fantastic location in the lovely town of Stokesley. Rachel is so friendly and helpful and helped me get settled in. I had a lovely couple of days at Rachel’s place. This is one of the nicest air bnbs I’ve stayed in and I would recommend it to anyone.

I stayed for 3 nights while doing a short course. The apartment is situated in the middle of Darlington. It’s a beautiful location with old cobble stone streets mixed with modern coffee shops, restaurants and even a cinema, a short distance away. The apartment was spotless, modern yet homely, a perfect base to explore or as I did, study for the following day’s studies. Highly recommended!
