We had a lovely stay at Tanya's lodge. Despite the weather being a bit too cold, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, which was ready for us as soon as we arrived. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind. The lodge itself was cozy and provided a great break from our routine. Thank you, Tanya, for such a wonderful experience!

We had such an amazing stay!!! Couldn’t recommend more, it was the perfect family getaway, hosts were brilliant, welcoming and very attentive with working the hot tub and bbq. Location is stunning and peaceful. The hut is cosy, warm and the beds were comfiest things I’ve ever slept in. Couldn’t have asked for better!

The second time I have stayed at Richard’s beautiful hut. Such a peaceful location and lots of lovely places to visit nearby. The hut is well thought out and comfortable. Secure garden for my dog and fantastic hot tub!

Our stay at Jessica's place was absolutely fantastic! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully arranged with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, the linens were fresh, and the little touches like the welcome basket and soft blankets made us feel truly at home. The surrounding views were stunning, and waking up to the peaceful countryside was a dream. We loved the attention to detail in the decor, from the charming framed pictures to the warm lighting. Jessica was a wonderful host—responsive, friendly, and helpful with recommendations for local spots. We highly recommend this to anyone.

Had a really lovely weekend at Hut 2, very private and beautiful location. The Hut has everything you'd need for a quiet and relaxing weekend away.

Overall, accommodation was great and everything went well. Things that I would like to point out. List of amenities these things are not correct. 1. Carbon monoxide alarm for the fireplace. The bedroom is not operational which is a hazard. 2. Coffee machine was not there. We asked and we were kindly given a jar instant coffee. 3. Outdoor to dining area doesn't exist. there is ourdoor furniture but not a dining area. 4. Outdoor kitchen doesn't exist either. They are correct, there is a BBQ as mentioned on the amenities , but that is not a outdoor kitchen. 5. I understand there is no Wi-Fi available. Which would I was okay with as I have 50GB of data. What I was not aware is that the location is in a virtually a signal dead zone there was one spot that we had to go to , if we wanted to receive our Whats-App messages. I would see this as an important thing to mention to people. Lastly , we had the lovely couple who lived at the corner who were available when we needed to ask questions.

Really lovely few days spent here - I got all the weathers, but it didn't spoil it one bit! Totally secluded, which is what I was after, but still with a proper bathroom and kitchen to hand, to could just completely relax and stay in. Cosy evenings with log burner roaring - very efficient and warmed up the hut quickly! Birds and squirrels visited the feeding station each morning, so felt very Snow White, and could hear owl at nighttime. As in other review: There are no plug sockets - None. So come fully charged and with charged up power packs, in case of emergency if you venture out (though, I recharged at pubs/cafes when I was out!) Beautiful views, quiet, secluded spot - You will completely relax here!

Absolutely beautiful scenery outside of the hut, hottub was clean and lovely to relax, the hut itself was cosy and but not cramped. My partner cut his finger while cooking and James responded within minutes to provide is with a first aid kit that his mum brought to us! We will definitely be back it was amazing! Did not want to leave

It doesn’t get much better than a glorious spring morning—blue skies above, sunshine on your face, and the simple pleasure of relaxing in a hot tub while watching lambs gambol playfully in the next field. The views across the Ribble Valley to Pendle Hill are wonderful. We were lucky with the weather, but honestly, this is the kind of place that’s perfect no matter the season. Even if the skies turn grey, the cosy charm of the shepherd’s hut makes it a wonderfully snug retreat. The hut itself has everything you could possibly need. It was immaculately clean, beautifully finished, and clearly cared for to a very high standard. Catherine was a great host—friendly, responsive, and welcoming. If you’re after a peaceful escape in stunning surroundings, look no further. This place is an absolute gem

We had a lovely stay at the hut. The view was absolutely stunning and the hut had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The ye olde Cheshire cheese inn nearby had delicious food so highly recommend for anyone visiting. 5 star stay - thankyou!

Perfect weekend gateway. Was so peaceful and lovely would 100% recommend for a weekend to turn off from life 🙂.

I couldn't think of anything which Tess and her family could have done to make this stay better. Such a wonderful little getaway spot for me and the cat; your own private garden and views for miles. The hut itself was immaculate.. underfloor heating! We had the best time, thank you Tess 😊

Jill was a great host, she was lovely from start to finish. The hot tub was on point. The welcome basket with the homemade cherry scones where to die for. The shepherds hut was exactly what jill listed and more. Jill was great letting us know of places to eat and visit. I would highly recommend to stay here. Jill made us feel extremely welcome and even placed a banner on the wall for my partners birthday. We had a great stay really sad to go home. Thankyou again Jill x

We had a lovely stay here for the night. The area is absolutely beautiful and was so relaxing watching the sun set by the water. The cabin is clean and has everything you’d need for a short stay. We will definitely be back!

The shepherds hut was stunning , this is a place to switch of leave the world behind .( there shouldn't even have a tv in there ) The hut is cosy with stunning views , nice patio area with a bbq . Lucy had recommended some local restaurants as we only stayed for 1 night , once we returned blankets out for the clear night sky with nothing to worry about. Private gates to get in to the area , its off the beaten track so just you and fellow campers /hut stayers to worry about. Thank you lucy youve made a lovely job .

This was our second stay in the hut and it was even better than the last (and we loved it last time!) The hut is so cosy with everything you need for a few days off grid, and the location is perfect for long walks on Offa’s Dyke, visits to beautiful churches and the excellent local pubs. Had a lovely stay here. Was nice and peaceful, grate communication with the host, we were able to check in an hour early and they gave us lots of local recommendations. Absolutely spotless and the comfiest bed ever! Would definitely come and stay again. Thank you!

I recently stayed at the Shepherd’s Hut and had a wonderful time. The hut was neat, tidy, and spotlessly clean. The surrounding area was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing escape. The hot tub was incredibly calming and added to the overall relaxing experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cosy and tranquil stay.

We had an amazing stay at Abbey View hut, it has beautiful views, the hut has everything you need. Ben the host provided all the information we needed for check in etc and was very kind to allow us to have a slightly later checkout. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful relaxing break with amazing views.

Lovely stay to get away from it all and explore a new place. Super cosy, clean and well thought out. The dog loved exploring the secure field as well!

Wow! This was a perfect little weekend away. Very cute and cosy shepherds hut. Both hosts were very helpful and very friendly throughout our stay! We also loved the warm welcome from Jem the cat every morning as well, very cute! The hot tub is definitely worth the extra, nothing better than a nice relaxing dip after long walks visiting the Peak District/alton towers. Everything was perfect about this weekend, the location was great with the Peak District being half hour away and Alton towers being 5 minutes away. I highly recommend going to ramblers retreat for breakfast while staying here as well as the bridge and the talbot inn pubs. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Although we never met Aly she was contactable whenever we would’ve needed. Thank you very much for a lovely stay- 2 nights was not really long enough I could definitely stayed for longer.

We had a fantastic time staying with Jane. the accommodation was beautiful and in a wonderful location. Stunning views. It was very private and clean! So peaceful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the sheep as company! Felt very appropriate for where we stayed! Excellent host with great local knowledge. Great recommendations! Very responsive! Would definitely rebook.
