Three words are all that are needed: “home from home”. We live this house in Princes Risborough and is our second stay. I very much doubt it will the last. The hosts are very friendly and very responsive prior to check in and throughout the stay. We visited London, Marlow, High Wycombe, Thames and of course the local Public House, The Bird. Very easy to get around. One thing I’d like to mention that does resonate with us is beds. SO COMFORTABLE!! I really would not hesitate recommending this home to anyone.

Vi har boet i huset flere gange og kommer gerne tilbage, da det opfylder vores behov. Parkering ved huset, tæt på offentlig transport, gode senge, 1 badeværelse og 1 toilet.

Had a great stay at Amana's place. Very peaceful cottage. Great location for the town and castle. Amana couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. A little recommendation is the Wheatsheaf pub around the corner. Great food and welcome.

Had a great short stay here, three friends, house was perfect for us, just as described and small private back garden a bonus for sitting out as the sun was shining. Quiet walks along the river into town, 15 min stroll. Swan theatre only 10 mins walk, for an evening out. Felt safe and quiet to walk back at night. Would definitely visit again

Thanks for the host for making our stay feel like home. Out three boys loved the space and the many board games and books to read. The place was very clean, location amazing to explore the beautiful surroundings and off course the castle. I will miss the butcher's shop, we were right at home central to many attractions and the 2 car car park was a huge plus. I took a chance, because I almost did not book for it's non-refundable policy due to my non-flex work schedule and I think this is the only downside and I wish we could have gotten a later checkout. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay for all my family members.

Lovely house, perfectly situated. Stewed with our family, son, daughter-in-law and grandson. Everyone loved the house. It was warm and cosy. Paul was super, messaging to welcome us and responded very quickly to any questions I would definitely book again and look forward to returning.

Very clean and comfortable, 6-bed terrace house with a bedroom on each floor. All the amenities you could want are close by. Convenient 10-minute bus ride to Chester or a more taxing 1-hour walk along the River Dee. 3 Dysons for the vacuum cleaner enthusiast !

The house was very comfortable and we felt at home immediately. Kitchen has all necessary appliances, etc. Spotless bathroom and comfy beds. Easy walking to the Minster and other attractions. Restaurant recommended by Dave very good. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.

We stayed for one night as a large group of friends plus two children and a dog. The house was perfect, all the rooms were very clean with lovely decor. The courtyard garden had a large table for group meals. A bonus was being able to order food/ drinks from the pub next door to our garden (there is a door that opens on to the pub courtyard at the back of the garden). Despite having a very central location in Henley next to a pub, it was fairly quiet overnight and we all slept well in comfy beds. Perfect location to explore centre of Henley, and the river is a few minutes walk away. Emily was a perfect host. She answered every question we had within 20mins and was very helpful with parking/ local area info. We had a non urgent question about the garden lights during the evening and she answered it immediately. We would definitely like to return for another occasion!

Great place for family to stay nearby for a couple of nights

Alison and Declan are amongst the best hosts we’ve come across so far. They were super friendly and responsive whenever we needed their support. Re the apartment - it was well equipped - def above average. The rooms have good size, lots of Sun light with wide windows and skylights. Everything was tidy, clean, organized and prepared really thoughtfully (including a few extras perks for our little one). The location couldn’t be better, as there are dozens of restaurants and places to go (including easy access to trams, trains, etc). In summary, we felt like home and we’d absolutely recommend their place as a top stay in Manchester/Altrincham area. Thanks for everything Declan and Alison! We loved our time there!

Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans la maison d'Hamish. Les lits sont confortables. La cuisine qui donne sur la cour et le salon sont agréables. La rue est calme tout en étant très proche du centre et du quartier Montpellier. Il y a quelques pubs, restaurants et boutiques très sympas dans le quartier. Hamish est réactif si besoin. Je recommande cette maison pour visiter Cheltenham.

this Cottage was in a perfect location, easy to park in the Drill hall car park. close to pubs, restaurants, castle etc. It was spotlessly clean. everything you needed was in the kitchen cupboards. Beds were comfortable. Stuart and Kay were perfect hosts and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I visit Chepstow again Would recommend.

Great host, very responsive and helpful. Large home with lots of space. Great location for exploring Wales and some great walks on the door step.

We had a lovely stay! It was a birthday break and Cher & Matt generously left me chocolates and a card, that was on top of the complimentary bottle wine - it was such a thoughtful gesture. We felt quite a home in the property. Our daughter loved the attic room! Unfortunately the weather was perishing so we didn't want to walk into town but there were plenty of Uber taxi drivers around. As you would expect, York has so much to offer and loved our time here. We would recommend Cher & Matt's place and will definitely visit again.

Had an overall good stay at Nigel's. The house had everything we needed and it was comfortable and clean. The only downside was that the heating went off (completely off) around midnight until around 4am and it was absolutely freezing. We literally had to sleep in jumpers and hats, so that was really not comfortable. We couldn't adjust the thermostat to put the heating on perhaps 16-17°C or something. That definitely needs looking at for future guests as it spoilt the otherwise very lovely stay. Still giving 5 stars though as that's an easy fix and the house is otherwise lovely. Maybe just check with Nigel before your stay if you have concerns before booking.

Our stay at the terrace was fantastic. It was exactly as described and exactly what we expected. It was the perfect weekend accommodation for the two of us to explore York and we have already recommended to our parents. A short stroll into town, and a cosy place to return to.

Cosy house, suitable for our needs as an adult family of 4. A welcoming touch with the fresh bread and breakfast provisions. Perfectly located for the town and walking Blorenge and Skirrid Fawr. The rear garden is a hidden gem! Great outside space to listen and watch the wildlife. A perfect spot to unwind after a day walking on the mountains.

We had a fantastic stay at Clare’s lovely townhouse in York. From the outset, communication was excellent—Clare provided plenty of helpful information about both the house and the local area, and she thoughtfully considered the fact that we were travelling with young children. The house itself was beautifully decorated in a style that really suited our taste—classic with a contemporary twist—and it was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The arrival pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated after our journey. We also received a thorough information pack both digitally and as a printed copy in the house, which made everything very easy. The location was ideal—just 15 minutes from the city centre—offering a peaceful retreat after days exploring beautiful York. One particularly sweet gesture was a little cuddly toy left for the girls, which made them feel instantly at home. It truly felt like a home from home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay in a very comfortable house. The house is excellently located for Brecon Town Centre - it’s just a 5 minute walk. There is everything in the house that you could need during your stay, and the kitchen is very well equipped with tea, coffee, sugar, sauces, oils, herbs, spices etc. There were six adults in our party and there was plenty of room for us to relax and eat together. Kate was an excellent host, and the vase of fresh flowers on arrival was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was very cosy, clean, (though it's worth noting that the ceilings are quite low if you don't watch your head) and the surroundings are endlessly explorable.

A great location, easy access to Chester just a short walk away. Not the most luxury surround outside of the apartment a lot of dog doo on streets and right outside the apartment one day. (appreciate this is not apartment owners fault - but think the price does lead you to believe it is a high end environment and it is not) The property itself is good condition and good standard of all mod cons etc

Lovely home and great location for walking into Chester city centre. Main bedroom has a generous and very comfortable bed. Tastefully decorated home with some outside space to enjoy if the weather is warm. Close to cafes and restaurants.

Christopher was an excellent host, wonderful property in a great location. Highly recommend for a trip to Central Manchester.
