We had a wonderful time at Donna’s place. The home was huge and immaculate. Everything was in order and we had a wonderful day. Ate Neng was very helpful with all of our questions and inquiries regarding the house and location. Would highly recommend Donna‘s place for anyone who wants to visit Mati and the nearby beaches of Dahican. We will definitely book this place again when we come back in the near future.

The couple that owns and lives right next to you in this airbnb — Mr. Jing Arles and Mrs. Jane Arles — are two amazing people. Believe me, they'll roll out the red carpet for you. They will constantly surprise you with their kindness and joyfulness, providing such a high degree of quality that I've never seen in any other airbnb. They made sure I'd feel at home. And I did. So much so, that I'm now considering to make the Philippines my second home. I remember waking up in this airbnb, opening the door, and feeling the quietness and great air from all the nature around. I would look up, and marvel at the mountains in front of me. I would naturally wake up with an intense sense of excitement, vitality, and health. The owners embody the best of the Filipino spirit: they drive you to show you the many awe inspiring places in Mati, they invite you into their meals, giving you the best foods in the Philippines… plus all the coffee and drinking water you need. Enjoy delicious Filipino food with Mr. and Mrs. Arles, great friendly talks about life in the Philippines, with many smiles and sparkling eyes. And, believe me, you'll fall in love with the Philippines, and especially Mati, just because you decided to stay in this airbnb. Masterfully prepared shrimps, fish delicacies, exquisite sausages, traditional chicken and pork dishes… accompanied with Filipino sauces to-die-for — these are some examples of the tastes you'll never forget. And this marvelous entrepreneurial couple also has a bake shop with Filipino pastry and bread that will make your belly hungry for more… You'll want to go there. And return several times. Come, really, just come, and see that I'm only giving you a short glimpse of the amazing experience that is to be in this airbnb. Try it… just book it for a week… and you'll want to stay longer. One day, the owners even left their own room to give that room for a few days to a guest that arrived to the airbnb. That's the kind of dedication to great service that you'll find here. They also scheduled their visit to Davao City in such a way that they could give me a ride so I could catch my plane. While in Davao, they showed me the Roxas Night Market, we ate the fabulous Durian fruit, and they made sure I had the best Filipino massage of my life, with the top massagist there. I still feel that incredible massage on my back. There is so much more I could say… Like mentioning the mattress that is so good that you feel you're floating in the sky while falling asleep… I was in this airbnb for about 2 weeks, and these were, by far, my most memorable days in the Philippines. I felt welcome… and I found new friends… for life. It is commonly said that a businessperson should always go the extra mile… Well, this couple goes 5 extra miles! And they keep running!… 😉 They are simply the best of the best of the Philippines. I don't want to finish this review… I still have so much to say and express… But, like my stay there, all good things must come to an end. If you're lucky, sometimes, a few times in life… you meet great, inspiring people… that create a kind and joyful atmosphere… with service that blows your mind… and opens your heart forever. That's what I found in the Philippines… at Vila El Capitan. Philippines… Mr. and Mrs. Arles… like the song you showed me says: Thank you for loving me.

The home was nice and cozy. I liked it and felt rested after our trip. For the price it was well worth it. Outside had a side street parking for a small or medium sized vehicle. I will definitely come back in future for longer stays.

the price includes 4 tipi huts but when we arrived, 1 tipi hut was broken so the staff told us to occupy the other tipi hut but i asked the staff if we can convert 2 tipi huts into 1 (2-storey) airconditioned room instead and they allowed us with no extra charge. when we arrived, the accommodation was not yet ready so we waited for a few minutes. the place is clean and staff was friendly. they provided complete kitchen equipment and disposable spoon and pork, they also prepared the bonfire at night and they gave us free coffee and biscuits in the morning. they also have karaoke but its not free the staff said it cost 500 pesos. we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.
