We had a great time, beautiful location and the hot tub, fire pit were awesome! House is perfect, well appointed and situated right on the water for easy access to the lake. Definitely recommend, and hope to go back! Host was very quick to respond to questions. Couple tips for future guests. In the fall there are a lot of leaves falling so we brought a little leaf blower to keep the sand around the fire pit cleaned off. Also, boat rental places take their boats out of the water so call before you come if planning to rent a boat. Fishing was awesome, and having a boat was a lot of fun for the kids.

We stayed here for our wedding and not only was it beautiful the host stephanie was great at responding to any and all questions we had! would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful place! This was an absolute awesome house with every detail thought of. We came for a weekend trip for the zoo(just under an hour drive to the zoo) and had told them about our plans. Not only did they give us local spots and restaurants recommendations. They also had a large box of animal crackers with a hand written message on the box telling us to enjoy our trip to the zoo! We are already planning a return trip in the warmer months (to utilize the lake). 10/10 recommend anyone staying in the area to give serenity now a stay! Thank you for everything.

I cant rave enough about this hidden gem at High Rock Lake! adorable house right on the lake with the best dock. We still feel like we are floating on the water and fishing!

My wife and I came to Jim’s place for a few days after our wedding to get away from our 5 kids and have a little privacy and quiet time. It was everything Jim said it was very quiet and peaceful, Jim stays right next door (but not in a way to make you uncomfortable) and was always making sure everything was good! We would definitely go back for another visit. The view is spectacular and can’t say enough about the hot tub! It was what we needed to relax and have “us” time!!

Beautiful, quiet location that looked exactly like the photos. The driveway is best navigated with an SUV due to gravel and divots, but once you’re in, the setting is unbeatable! The home was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully designed to feel cozy and inviting. The kitchen was well-stocked with quality plates and silverware—no need to resort to plastic here. Plus, having individual temperature controls in each room made the stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay! We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the deck with the fire going. Very peaceful spot with beautiful views. First night saw a shooting star while enjoying the hot tub. The bed was comfortable, my husband and I slept well every night (which isn’t always the case when traveling). Our dogs loved it too! Jay was a great host with great communication and very helpful.
