Great place, clean and comfortable and located great for why we stayed there. Very responsive and friendly.

This was our second stay at the farmhouse in Montgomery - both times during Christmas while visiting extended family. This year, we were greeted by gorgeous holiday decorations and all the amenities we enjoyed during our first visit. (Even though it's been two years since our first visit, it looks as clean and charming as ever!) We did a lot of cooking this year and were pleased to find the kitchen so well-stocked. We love the history here, the large dining room table where we play games, and the loft bedroom that's big enough to accommodate our whole family. I was happy to meet Janelle and her two daughters as we were leaving, and glad to have the opportunity to thank her in person for providing such a cozy "home away from home" when we visit Daviess County. Thanks so much for sharing this space with us!

Loogootee doesn’t offer a lot of places for out of towners to stay so we tried Air BnB and luckily found Melba’s place. It’s right off the highway but tucked back into the property so we didn’t hear the traffic. It was clean, the bed was comfy, and had everything you needed. Melba was a great host. We kept in contact prior to check in and she also reached out while we were there to make sure everything was going okay. I’ll definitely use one of her places again when we’re in town.

Awesome lakeside cabin with great views from the back deck. Was very nice to be able to book both sides for my team. Will definitely look up again next time we are in the area.

Melba was a fantastic host! Her place was incredibly clean and comfortable. We felt right at home during our stay. It was even decorated for the holidays! She was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed from check in to check out. I will definitely stay again when I’m back in the area. Thank you again Melba!
