Overnight stay. Clean room and bathroom. Friendly host. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Lovely room, walking distance from art galleries, book shops, and other attractions. Nice town to overnight in, on our way from the coast. We would like to stay longer next time!

The farmhouse is beautiful and the Karoo is fantastic. The house is well equipped, very spacious and was a perfect stopover for us and our Basset Hounds. Anneen is sorting out a more permanent solution for the power which is currently limited to some lights that run off batteries. This will make it more convenient, although, in my opinion the lack of electricity in the house enhanced the feeling of isolation and we relaxed immediately. Even though the house is 36km from the N1, the gravel road is in a good condition and travelling on it poses no issues. I can wholeheartedly recommend the farmhouse to anyone and if ainhave the opportunity again, I will definitely make use of Anneens hospitality.

Marie was very welcoming and helpful. She provided a menu so that I could order in and the food was brought to my door, which was really convenient. As I had a lot in my car I was happy that I could park inside the premises which are secure and enclosed with a security gate. Loved the historical old building, and the fact that whilst upgrading they have kept the original wood floors, doors and lanterns. The interior is clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Marie.
