Fantastic visit! Great apartment! Brilliant Host! Everything was as described and my family and I had a fantastic weekend. The beach was right on our doorstep and we could not have asked for more. We will be back!

We had a lovely few days Easter break with our two young kids. The flat is great with everything you need. The location is superb being so close to a beach great for sand and rock pools (when the tide goes out). The pub up the road did good food and there are great days out just short drives away. Liana and Clive were really helpful, friendly and quick to respond. We would definitely come back here. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay for a couple of days. Comfortable and clean bedroom, clean kitchen with good cooking facilities and location is perfect for exploring the area. A definite 5 star stay.

Lovely apartment, even better in real life, the photos don't do it justice. Plenty of kitchen basics and Sally supplied some oat milk too. Nice quality hand and shower gel supplied and everything was very clean. We weren't lucky enough to bag one of the parking spaces but plenty of free parking nearby so it wasn't an issue. The location is really convenient with so much to do all within walking distance and without needing to use the car. Fabulous view from the lounge and dining room and good communication from Sally. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Stayed in this lovely loft for a few days on a trip to Southend. Felt very homely and had everything we could have needed. Great that the tv was all set up with the apps and easy to watch all the streaming services, and games and books available if we fancied a night in. Cupboard was stocked with essentials for cooking and the coffee and biscuits were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Amazing property. Great location with amazing views. We loved relaxing on the decking watching the beautiful sunsets. Clean, tidy and well presented. Lorna was the perfect host. I would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Margate Beach Apartment. The weather was perfect the whole time, which made being so close to the sea even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was beautifully arranged—mid-century modern, bright, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We really appreciated having a designated parking space; it made getting around so much easier, especially when we arrived with all our luggage. Inside, the kitchen was impressively well-equipped, which was great since we love cooking and didn’t want to eat out for every meal. The beds were also amazingly comfortable—honestly some of the best we’ve slept on while traveling. Overall, everything felt thoughtfully set up for guests, and we’d happily return for another visit.

Stayed for a friend's birthday weekend. Beautiful place, private but excellent access to the beach. Weather stopped us from making use of the garden but can imagine that during the warmer months - it would be amazing. Walking distance to the beach. can highly recommend The Owl for lunch/dinner - which was literally a 5 mins walk. Everything was fabulous 😍

We had an absolutely wonderful week in this great property- the direct access to the beach is very special - and the house is a real home, furnished for comfortable living rather than rental. Lots of gorgeous walks near by - great golf course up the road, handy EV charging point 2 mins walk away, and Ashford designer shopping outlet 30 mins drive away.

Beautifully decked out accommodation over 2 cabins and a retro Airstream, all within 5 mins walk of a stunning beach. Great for multi generational family get together or friends with kids sleeping in bunk beds. Sam was super responsive and overall a very good experience

We had a fabulous stay at Barefoot. The house was terrific - great set up inside, extremely clean and comfortable and with all we needed (and more) for a perfect few days at the beach. The location is amazing - literally right on the beach, nestled amongst beautiful dunes which the kids adored. And being able to step right onto the sand was glorious. Mark was extremely helpful with all we needed and also local recommendations - communication always v quick and easy. Thoroughly recommend staying at Barefoot! We are sure to be back!

I had lovely stay again, it's my go to place for when I visit Southend. The view from the balcony is the best part about this stay, whether it's sunny or raining it's still nice to look out of :) They've redecorated the living room since I last visited which looks really nice, it gives it a modern feel :) I'd highly recommend this place if you're in the area

It was just as you described it, very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The tips in your house guide were also very helpful, the location was perfect and we enjoyed the walk along the coast to Reculver fort. We would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back. Lovley property, very warm, parking was an issue on arrival but soon sorted. Area is a bit rundown but location to the oldtown with plenty of nice pubs & restaurants is a short 5-minute stroll away. Perfect if you have a dog as the local beach is a 2-minute walk. Supermarket (Aldi) is 2-minute walk as are a few local bars & coffee shops.

What an absolute gem of a place. Hands down the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, beautifully styled (we all had home decor envy). Cannot recommend enough. Super comfortable, it has absolutely everything you need and more. Fantastic location. I hope we’ll be back…it’s too good not to be.

Wonderful stay, great Hosts, amazing views, everything you will need for a stay for the weekend or weeks at the sea! The view from the deck of this Airbnb is beyond compare! Just Watching the boats can absorb hours!

My partner and I had such a fabulous stay at this apartment. Having a view of the sea from the front room and a coffee in the morning was a major highlight for us. The location of the flat is also perfect for getting around Margate. The beds are comfy, flat was cosy and decorated really well. The hosts were super helpful and responsive so we had zero issues finding the flat. We will definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely stunning apartment, the decor is spot on - it felt so homely. Beautiful views, and using the balcony at sunset with a cup of tea was perfect. Nice restaurant below, which was so handy and saved me cooking. Sea bass & a lamp shank you can’t go wrong ;) Joe and Abbey were brilliant - very communicative, kind and helpful. Which always makes such a difference! Adding this one to my favourites list, great find in the area!!
