Great place to stay! We had a wonderful time with friends. Would stay again.

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

This was our second visit to Warren's charming farmhouse, and we loved it every bit as much this time. We can't wait to come back. It is definitely our "happy place"!

Perfect location and Sergio communicated quickly with home info, instructions. I loved the fenced in yard, comfy bed, a better shower than I have at home, parks super close. The neighbor was very nice as well. I will stay again and I am glad I found my spot to stay while in the Detroit area.

Sara’s listing was very lovely and had a very homey feel with lots of traditional furniture and tons of natural light. Each bedroom has its own vibe. There’s a narrow staircase that leads up to the living space which might be troublesome for some older folk but other than that I love everything else. We didn’t need to use the stove or any appliances but there’s was basically everyone you would need, plus there were some chickens running around the backyard which was fun. Would stay here again. Not too far from downtown.

Adam's house is awesome. we traveled with two kids and they both enjoyed the stay. As long you have a car, you can find lots of good local restaurants nearby. the neighborhood is very quiet for good night sleep. Our schedule requires an early check in. Adam was able to accommodate the request with timely communication. There were also entertainments like pingpong, pickleball and badminton. Would recommend this place for people visiting greater Detroit area.

We had a great time and it was so easy to get to the arena and back. Our dogs were very comfortable and slept the whole time! Thank you so much

Enjoyed my time here! Lots of space and the fenced years was great for my little dog. Good location near downtown Ferndale on a nice, quiet street. I had some trouble getting into the house at first, but the host was very responsive and found a solution.

Great host 1st and foremost. The residence was extremely clean and I was very impressed... However, all three beds were very stiff and unforgiving and for me uncomfortable, wich made for restless nights. Also this is one of those locations you need to pay attention to fine print! You have no use of the pond just a view... If you do bring your pet be aware 3 other dogs on site, so I'm glad I didn't bring mine, she would have been stressed! This place should have been awesome, to be so secluded, but feel so restricted plus no washer and dryer... This amazing location and super host, went from oh wow that was worth the money. To okay definitely not a place to stay more than a day. No question 5 stars became 3 stats.

Perfect location - an easy walk to amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and the train station! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Auntie Blondie (as she told me to call her) was an awesome host. She was very thorough giving me a tour of the property and was a phone call away when I needed anything. The location and views were great for the price and would recommend this property to anyone in the area. Thank you again for allowing us to celebrate in your property.

We had such a lovely time at the house. It’s a short drive downtown, with a great little spot to get coffee and ice cream. I loved that it was close to an active downtown area but the house itself feels private and secluded. The pool temp was fantastic so we swam twice a day! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my 2 kids aged 8 and 11. The place was nice and clean and the host was easily contactable and sent us a message every couple of days to check all was ok. We had plenty of room and facilities to cook and do our laundry. The pool area out the back was great and my kids and I spent many hours swimming. I would definitely consider booking again if we are back in the area next year.
