WE stayed one night at the Villa. This is a full house with full kitchen and three bedrooms - we only stayed in one bedroom. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet and nice and dark and we slept very well. The water was very hot and plentiful. Breakfast basics were provided and much appreciated. The house is convenient to downtown Oamaru. We highly recommend the Villa and will stay there again when in Oamaru.

Maxene’s place is a dream stay and one of the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve experienced 😇 The ocean view from the living room is truly top-level, making every moment inside feel like a retreat. Just one minute down the private stairs to the beach, you’ll find yourself completely lost in the magic of hanging out with sea seals and soaking in the peaceful beauty of the coastline 🦭 The house itself is cozy, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully prepared, offering the perfect balance of comfort and nature. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and every detail makes you feel at home. This is the kind of place where you can truly reset, slow down, and be present. Maxene is a super kind host, always making sure everything is right for her guests. Her warmth and thoughtfulness made our stay even more special ❤️ If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place. We're already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay at Highlands on Homestead. Highlight for our children was feeding and animals and collecting farm eggs for our breakfast. Location easy 8 min drive from Oamaru. Highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this delightful wee cottage! A beautiful walk down to the beach which is a stunning place to take the gorgeous views and spend some time out nature. Kathrin is an amazing host. She is very kind and thoughtful and goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved our stay. The views were amazing. The bed was comfy. The kitchen was very well appointed and we loved having a full-size fridge complete with ice for our nighttime drinks. The bottle of wine and local cheese was much appreciated. Wish we could have stayed longer

Awesome location with fabulous sea views. Great to be only a short walk to the local tavern. House was super clean and had everything we needed. Very spacious with modern decor and furniture. Host was an excellent communicator who we would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning to Moeraki and this awesome air BnB

Rubys Retreat was clean, cosy and quiet. Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of space , great underfloor heating , safe neighbourhood and not far from town. We enjoyed our stay.
