I was looking for a place near Colombo for a Friday night getaway with friends, and I came across Ryan’s property in Maharagama. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how spacious, modern, and sophisticated the place was. The architecture, choice of colors, and thoughtful spatial arrangements created an inviting and stylish atmosphere—it even became a topic of conversation among us. Everything about this stay was exceptional—the cozy beds, comfortable couches, and the fully functional kitchen that had everything we needed. Every member of our group had something to appreciate, and we spent hours admiring the details. The lake in front of the property was a lovely addition to the view. However, while it’s something beyond the owner’s control, it was covered with aquatic plants—I just wish that wasn’t the case. The host was incredibly welcoming, making the experience even better. Willkommen im Paradies. Alles war perfekt.Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt . Mit das Beste an der Unterkunft war Jagath , der jederzeit da war wenn man ihn brauchte. Er ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Ein Highlight war die Tour durch den Garten wo alles mögliche wächst, von Zimt,Mangos , Sternfrucht und anderen exotischen Früchten. Der Pool und die ganze Einrichtung war sehr modern und luxuriös. Die Unterkunft war das Beste am ganzen Urlaub.

Caretakers Farida and Sumathi were fantastic and thoroughly professional. Breakfast was as good as Upalis in Colombo. They maintain the place to a very high standard. I have no complaints about the property itself. The only minor complaint I have is the road leading up to the property is subpar.

We made Araliya our home base for the month of February, coming and going depending on our itinerary. We loved our stay at the house, which is located in a quiet residential area but close enough to the bustle of Colombo. The rooms/bathrooms were spacious and clean, the living room area was airy and comfortable, and the pool was nice. Being able to use the clothes washer was great as we had a little one. The hosts were courteous and responsive to questions we had about the house/stay. What made this home absolutely exceptional is Lalith the caretaker. He cooked delicious meals, prepared tea/coffee, made sure that the essentials (water, etc.) were supplied, helped with organizing taxis if needed, and was considerate to my family when they visited the house. We truly appreciated his care and will miss his homemade crab curry! We highly recommend this place.

Superbe logement. Propre. belles installations. Correspond a la description. Proche d'un supermarché et de restaurants. a 40 min du centre de Colombo. Proche de la route et d'une école hymne national le matin. wifi plutôt bon. L'hôte est très reactif et le gardien sur place très gentil. La salle de sport et la piscine est très agréable ainsi que la douche exterieure. Parfait pour notre séjour de 2 nuits en famille.

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

Great place to stay with lot of space and everything was as described.Janith was responsive and very helpful. Nothing to complain about and I recommend to a family or group of friends to stay safe and private.

I stayed at Sumudu's place with my mother for nearly 4 weeks. we felt right at home. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The complex was secure and had gym and a pool. Sumudu is such a responsive and helpful host. Event hough the apartment complex was right next to a busy street, the apartment was very quiet. There are lot of supermartkets and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Sumudu's place to anyone who is looking for a place near Colombo.

This is a wonderful apartment in Mount Lavinia. It has everything you need. Security staff are on hand 24 hours. Lovely views and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Susan is a wonderful host and i will definitely stay here when next in Sri Lanka.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Colombo. The hosts communicated very well from the initial contact we had with them. They were professional in their services, flexible, the apartment was also very clean and the linen was good quality.

Such a wonderful stay for our family, as we all enjoyed ourselves using the amenities of the residences. This is very much a family friendly residence, with a playground and a pool (not just 1 pool, but 3 pools - one was a leisure pool, the other was a pool for toddlers which is shallow and the other was a lap pool). There was also a gym, but we didn’t get time to use this. Great location as it is walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. There is also a minimart within the building which was really handy, as we literally went down everyday to get something, whether it be drinks, sweets or snacks for the kids. Everything was as listed and the host is extremely helpful and responsive! Would highly recommend and if we come back to Colombo, this will be the place to stay with kids. Thank you so much :)

It is my second time stay at “Mystical Rose”. Mr. Wilhelm is a great host and made my stay felt right at home. Walkable distance to restaurants and supermarket. It is very quiet and has a great view of Colombo skyline from the balcony. Wilhelm communicated very well and also very proactive to intimate about power breakdown due to maintenance work. It is located at a very safe and quite gated community with 24x7 security. Great host.

Beautiful space by the beach. Host was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. Addressed any questions and issues and went above and beyond to assist with anything. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We’ve stayed twice now and both times we have really enjoyed our stay. Very cozy. Highly recommend.
