Alina was a great host and her home is absolutely breath taking. A perfect place with an outstanding ocean view, amazing pool, and surrounded by nature. Thank you for sharing your place with us. Pura Vida!!

Le logement était conforme à la description. Belle piscine, environnement très calme et sécuritaire.

La casa muy bella, organizada, amplia y cómoda. El área de cocina muy completa, tanto en electrodomésticos como en utensilios. Cuenta con toallas para la ducha y junto al jacuzzi, este fue un detalle que nos gustó. El entorno tranquilo, si bien la separación entre las casas es una muralla de bambú y se puede ver un poco entre ellas solo se ven siluetas, por lo que cumple con la privacidad. Otro aspecto que nos gustó es que en cada ventana y puerta cuenta con mosqueteros. Ariel atento en todo momento y nos dio recomendaciones para continuar con nuestra ruta. Sin duda lo recomendaríamos, y será de nuestros Airbnb favoritos. Suerte!!

We had a great stay at Dirk’s place. The area is very relaxing. Four restaurants nearby and a small mini mart. The house is right next to the entrance to the beach. The beach is spectacular. A few miles long, great surfing, wonderful sunsets, and not crowded compared to the beach at Tarmarindo. We stayed for two weeks. The first week we rented a car to do grocery shopping, etc. The second week we just relaxed using nearby restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the pool when not at the beach. If you want to go to Tarmarindo it is about a 15 minute walk on the beach to the inlet that separates the two areas, you can then use the locals with their boats to cross. Cost $2 per person. Boats start at 8 and stop at 5. Dirk is a great host. He helped us with renting the car, and was generous with his recommendations. Look forward to returning.

Pros: Superb views, thoughtful touches in this beautiful property, beach towels, drinking water container, comfy bed, hammock and outdoors tub to enjoy views and relax. Cons: long winding gravel road to get there, difficult to locate in dark, needs a 4x4 car and a good driver. Little pricey and 45min from Tamarindo downtown. No shampoo/conditioner or shower gel. All in all very happy with the stay and will come back!

This place was perfect. A shot walk from beautiful Playa Portrero but still private and peaceful except for the awesome experience of seeing an extended family of howler monkeys come past our deck one morning. So cool!

Amazing house and great location. A short and easy walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants in Tamarindo. The house is beautiful,, well maintained, great pool, and had everything we needed; would have been easy just to spend our entire trip there. We definitely hope to stay here again next time we bring the family to Tamarindo.

Excelente lugar, pasamos solo una noche para luego continuar hacia otro lugar, sin embargo sin duda me hospedaría de nuevo y por más días.

We had a wonderful stay with my family of 6. Safe and beautiful area just steps away from the beach. Walkable activities and restaurants.

We genuinely loved this house. The hosts were great. We had a handful of miscommunications with Marco but I figure those to be cultural differences. I can be a pretty Type A American 🤪. We were able to work them out but I misunderstood Todd’s documentation regarding procuring services and tours with Marco. Also count items when you arrive and before you leave. We were asked about and implied that we took towels. This after I went out of my way to wash the towels and leave extra laundry detergent. The kitchen lacked a few things so you might inquire ahead of time if you are planning to make something specific. For example, we did a pasta night and an extra large pot and an equally sized strainer weren’t on hand. We improvised and it worked out all the same. We also made cookies in a baking dish. 😂 The pool and hot tub were fantastic. The community felt safe. The town was friendly and a good mix of locals with touristy things. We would come back to this area.

Casa Nikita was just as we had hoped. Anastasia is wonderful and easy to communicate with. We will come again!

Stephen's villa was amazing. My family and I ( 2 teen children and 1 husband) stayed for 8 wonderful nights and we were sad to leave...back to chilly Canada. As others have mentioned, Stephen's place is well stocked with kitchen necessities, spices, coffee etc.... I loved waking up every morning and having my coffee on the patio. We saw birds, cats and our friend, Lizzie the lizard every morning. There were lots of monkeys down by the beach in the mornings. We alternated between going to restaurants for dinner and cooking at home. We never did eat at any of the villa sol restaurant. The only negative, which is by no means Stephen's fault is the night time raccoons. They prevented us from eating dinner on the patio outdoors. By night four though, we started playing music on our speaker, and it seemed to keep them at bay. I would 100% recommend Stephen's place and would not hesitate to stay again.

We had an amazing stay this location! The condo was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The location was perfect - close to restaurants and the beach. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre visite. La maison était super propre, super bien entretenue. Les hôtes répondaient rapidement aux questions, même pour nous donner des suggestions de choses à faire ou visiter. La piscine était superbe, le secteur est très sécuritaire. Que du positif!

As all other reviewers have noted, this place truly is a dream. I knew it would be wonderful based off of the prior reviews but it really is true that the pictures just do not do the place justice! Absolutely breath-taking views. Our extended family of 10 was very comfortable and spread out between the 3 bedrooms in the main house and 2 private bungalows. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all pristine with plenty of towels linens and kitchen supplies. The groundskeeper Elgin and housekeeper Joselyn (they are married with 2 young daughters and live on property) were so very friendly and helpful. We felt extremely safe and did not want to leave! We did use our 4x4 option in the vehicle each time we exited the home to get off the hill so I would recommend taking that advice when renting just in case. We definitely want to come back!

11 of us stayed at Jean Marc’s home for 9 days and enjoyed it. It was spacious and clean. Xeomara and Luca, the housekeeper and property manager were very helpful. We had preplanned many activities, but Luca checked in with us daily to see if we needed help setting anything up. We could walk to the beach or restaurants, but rented golf carts for our time since it was rainy and humid. With the crazy humidity, the air conditioning worked great and it was always refreshing to come home to.
