Our experience at Blue Parrot was nothing short of relaxing. Sudath and Co, are great hosts. Very responsive and accommodating. The place itself is peaceful and private and is located right off the beach. Special mention on the delicious breakfast served. If you are looking to book, definitely go for it.

Nilmini was so helpful, attentive and accomodating! We also really appreciated her attention to details, like bottled water in the fridge, fresh soap, towels and linens, and toilet paper. The caretaker Jagath was also very attentive and gave us lots of space.

We had a lovely 2 weeks in Nirosha's apartment. It is huge. We had the whole downstairs of the building whilst Nirosha and her family had a separate entrance to the upstairs. (The internal stairs are blocked off). We could walk to the local beaches and restaurants no problem and easily flag down a tuk tuk to take us to the Narigama Beach, which I personally preferred. Nirosha was very friendly and helpful, providing us with a second bed insect net for the larger bedroom which had the Aircon unit in. Comfortable beds and settees and a very well equiped kitchen. The shower had warm water. The house sits alongside the railway track, as so many properties do. Yes, you will hear the trains. The track also makes a short cut walk to the main road and the station as used by many locals. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Words cannot describe how perfect our stay was. Sharmini was a fantastic host, even before we got there. She was quick to answer my many questions about the villa, the local area and sharing details of companies that could collect our large party of 12 from the airport. Even calling them on my behalf when they didn't respond to my messages. The photos of the villa don't do it justice. The rooms are all a fantastic size, beds and pillows comfy and the bathrooms are wonderful. The location on the beach was just perfect. We were 3 families with 6 children between 2 and 8 and we all spent our time running from beach to pool l. Idilic. But the standout feature of the villa is the fabulous and dedicated staff. Dilu, Milan and Bandu. Dilu could not do enough for us and was on hand, yet discreet. Milan! Well his cooking is easily the best I've had in Sri Lanka. He cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for all of us every night catering for us all! Our villa stay was perfect in every way!

Dulanga отличный хозяин! Всегда на связи. Очень дружелюбный и предупредительный. Дом отличный. Есть хорошая кухня и возможность готовить еду. Свой собственный бассейн это как каждодневное развлечение. Пляж находится сразу возле двора. Завтраки сделанные Dulanga просто восхитительны. Красивый пейзаж возле дома позволяет делать отличные фотографии. Моя семья была в восторге. Рекомендую отдых в доме Dulanga. Большое спасибо хозяину дома.

Salt Villa was exactly as described. Couldn’t be closer to the beach with its own private entrance, you literally have the beach to yourself most of the time!! There was some feedback in previous reviews about traffic noise from the main road but to be honest the sound of the waves just blocks this out and it didn’t disturb us at all. The villa itself is in great condition, beds were super comfy and it was by far the best sleep any of us had during our trip in Sri Lanka. Lastly the staff, led by Sandy could not be more accommodating. Always there to help no matter how big or small and just added to the experience of staying here. Julius himself is a fantastic host who responds quickly to any questions and was very flexible with us during our particular stay. We will 100% be back to stay here again!

Our stay at Villa 171 in Aluthgama was nothing short of amazing. The property is a lovely retreat with all the amenities you could wish for and impeccably maintained. What truly made our visit unforgettable, however, was the warmth and generosity of our hosts. Shashika was not only incredibly helpful but also inspired us with his fascinating travel stories. Even more special was his brother, Babi—a genuine gem. From lending us a scooty and guiding us through mangrove trips and snorkeling adventures to assisting us in picking out thoughtful gifts for our families, Babi went above and beyond, making us feel like part of the family. We left Sri Lanka with hearts full of gratitude and fond memories, and we’re already planning our next visit just to reconnect with these wonderful hosts and experience the magic of Villa 171 again. Back in India, we miss you both dearly—please come visit us, and let us have the honor of hosting you next time!

My stay at the villa was lovely. The garden and lake view are even more beautiful in person than in pictures. I spent many hours on the porch, mesmerized by the wildlife - peacocks, chipmunks, monkeys, birds, and butterflies. The villa offers complete privacy, nestled in a tranquil and serene part of the jungle, perfect for relaxation. Nilendra was an exceptional host, very kind, always quick to respond and incredibly helpful with any request. Thank you, Nilendra, for making this stay so easy. This place is truly a hidden gem.

We had a great time in the Villa, great location, the hostess was super friendly and the area was great! We enjoyed the pool everyday and it was much appreciated by our kids, since the breach has really high waves, having a privet pool was fantastic. Yes, the villa is really close to the train tracks but it only goes by from time to time so it did not bother us that much. We loved it!
