S&T’s spot was perfect for what my family needed. Comfortable, close enough to the dells in the winter and great atmosphere at the resort itself. Would recommend for family time

This place was absolutely breathtaking and just what my wife and I were looking for. The peaceful surroundings made our quiet getaway one to remember. The hot tub was in perfect condition and always stayed warm. This was the perfect way to unwind. We were also stunned with the amazing nature views. From a snowy wonderland to the clear skies and countless stars, we were so happy with this place. We cuddled up near the fireplace which kept us warm the whole weekend. There was plenty of space for the two of us to feel comfortable and right at home. Cooper’s communication was great and quickly answered the couple of questions we had. We highly recommend this place and plan to be back some day.

"We just spent the most incredible weekend at this fantastic John Wayne-themed house! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt like we were transported to the Wild West. The decor was top-notch, with authentic cowboy gear, vintage posters, and even a life-size cutout of the Duke himself! The house was spotless, spacious, and had every amenity we needed. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the backyard was perfect for sippin' whiskey and watchin' the sunset. Our host was friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We can't recommend this place enough - it's a must-stay for any John Wayne fan or anyone lookin' for a unique and memorable experience. We'll be back, pardner!"

Amazing host, the cabins were incredible and the surrounding trees and lighting was beautiful. The whole experience felt magical.

Christmas Mountain Resort is a nice place to stay. Been there several times before.

The place was very cozy and hot tub was awesome! The kitchen was fully-stocked and there were plenty of towels on hand.

The stay was great we really had a good time. This was great for our toddler and he loved the pools and free activities.

So much to offer! The cabin was perfect for our family of 6. Christmas Mountain offered many amenities that were unexpected. Pools, hot tubs, basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, Cornhole, Shuffleboard, mini-golf, frisbee golf, two golf courses, fishing, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats! The location was great because we didn't have the in town Dells and it was quiet out in the mountains:) Patricia was very responsive and helpful throughout the trip. I highly recommend this rental! We can't wait to go back!

The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals and it was very clean! The views were stunning. Beds were cozy and comfortable. Lots of games, books and nice TV’s if you just wanted to stay indoors. Easy access to the lake from the cottage.

Beautiful location, clean water—amazing. Family-friendly for sure, but it was also a lovely spot for me and my dogs to relax after a busy summer. Waupaca as well as the Chain O Lakes area have lots to do. Don’t forget to explore quaint and nearby Rural, Wi. I loved sitting on the pier with my coffee, the patio for lunch, and around the fire pit for dinner. The sunset and stars are always beautiful. Thank you for a terrific escape.

This cozy little cottage is perfect! Beautifully updated and even includes an electric fireplace. Full kitchen allows for preparing meals as well. There is nothing about this property that we didn’t like. Jordyn was very responsive, courteous and great to work with!

Cute and cozy place to stay! 20 minutes from Cascade Mountain. My friends and I loved the small town feel of the area and had absolutely no complaints.

We had an amazing stay at The Cottage! Everything was easy to find, the kitchen had plenty of dishes, gadgets etc to make it feel like a 'kitchen' (which is so nice when you're staying for 4 nights), the living room and bedrooms were so cozy with nice closet space and plenty of extra blankets to keep us warm if needed! My daughter's wedding was at Chapters On The Horizon (Wow-beautiful venue!) and it was an easy drive to get there and back which put my mind at ease! Restaurants had lots of options and the staff were all friendly small town people (love!)! Great communication with hosts (we had a little hiccup and we were able to fix issue super fast)...Overall we have zero complaints! Will recommend to friends! Thank you for a great "first Airbnb" experience!

We loved our stay at the Barnhaus! Robert was extremely proactive in reaching out, and the space itself is a wonderful spot to spend time. We greatly enjoyed experiencing it during a snowy weekend to visit family.

This was our second stay here. We love the location, the peace and quiet. Cute, comfortable cottage with whatever you need for your stay.

Great stay! Easy check in and exactly as pictured! So many games for kids tucked away throughout the home! 10/10 would recommend!

This house was perfect for my big family! There were tons of board games and even a poker set that we used. The kitchen had everything we needed which includes knives, oil, seasonings, pots and pans, mixing bowls and even dishes for everyone. The upstairs room is a huge room that is the perfect hangout spot. There are two huge bean bags that we napped on, a dart board, a TV and small table that could be used for playing a board game. We loved waking up to seeing the sunrise over the lake. It was less than a 10 minute drive to Devil’s Head for us to go snowboarding.

Our stay was a perfect getaway. The house was spotless. Every amenity was available. The lake was very quiet. The owners are very responsive. Bumper pool is fantastic. I highly recommend staying here.

We booked this location at the very last minute as our planned spot for a family get together canceled on us. Daniel was very responsive, got us check in instructions immediately, and the place was clean and ready to go when we got there - despite making the reservation about 2 hours before we showed up. It turned out to be perfect and the get-together was great.

Great House, everything is clean and ready to use. Only 15mins drive to Cascade Mountain, we also used the fire pit outside the house, very nice. Will definitely come again.

I along with three friends and four dogs enjoyed a relaxing late spring weekend at this spacious, relaxing and thoughtfully appointed cabin. I plan to stay again next spring and recommend families or friend groups to book and enjoy all the property has to offer.

My honest review.... Bryan's outdoor amenities are what made this place for our trip. The outdoor bar, fire pit (fire wood available) nice grass area for yard games. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, outdoor speakers were very nice and easy to use. I did have an issue with sleeping arrangements once I asked Bryan he did respond and make sure we got correct information. With this being said when I booked this place I guess I didn't look good enough but 1 "twin" bed available is stuffed into a closet that just fits the mattress. Unusable for an Adult in my opinion. Another thing not a huge deal but I've never came across when booking any airbnb is the thermostat was locked, AC never went on at all pretty warm inside with no fans available. All and all us 4 guys had a good time for a Batchelor party. Waupaca is such a nice peaceful getaway!! Thank you Bryan for opening your place up for our stay!!
