The Riverside Retreat has lots of space for big groups, and it would be a good deal if your group is indeed large. For a smaller family (4), and it being wintertime, we didn't feel like we got as much bang for our buck. That said, the surroundings are lovely, and the back porch area as well as the dock and all the water toys (kayaks, peddle boat, etc.) would be super fun in warmer, drier weather.

This is an amazing house with great views and excellent host! The amenities were well thought out, not one detail was left out, and the place had everything you need and more! Communication was amazing with superb response time! I can’t say enough about the place and the host!

Such a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Lane's condo! Right on the lake and easy access to Alexander City. Lane had the condo immaculate for our arrival and was responsive to our questions over our extended stay. All the amenities in the condo and the whole complex made for an amazing and memorable vacation. Hope to stay there again sometime!

Easily the best AirBnb I have ever stayed in. This place is truly a gem - the photos do not do it justice. I had 10 friends fly in from California and they were able to experience Mt Cheaha State Park (less than an hour drive) and the calming nature surrounding Lake Wedowee. We were familiar with this location, as it is next door to a friend of ours. We chose it for a large family get together, too large to host at home. We love the location. It's very isolated and private, and in a stunningly beautiful location along a creek, surrounded by nature. It's adjacent to one of the premier bicycle trails in the South, the Chief Ladiga Trail, that we frequently ride, though not this weekend. We knew it was a beautiful home on the outside, and believe me, the inside matched. Plenty of room, but a cozy and warm feel. The kitchen was very well appointed with pots, pans, and appliances, and a large refrigerator, all things that we needed. The yards were large enough to toss around a football, and the back was well fenced for those with dogs. If you like a camping-like surrounding, but with the luxuries of home, this is your place. We will gladly rent again should the need arise, and will be recommending it to anyone in search of a warm and inviting place to stay

What an incredible stay we had in the most fun and unique place. We enjoyed celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary here. We look forward to coming back for another stay in the future. Possibly Shipwrecked :) You and Polina are incredible hosts. We enjoyed every moment. Thank you, thank you!

I made a huge mistake when booking. And I booked the wrong date, but as soon as I reached out to the owners, they were understanding and kind and worked it out with me so that We could go another time. Wonderful people!

Trip for Talladega races was a success thanks to Tony’s place. 20-25 minutes to the super speedway wasn’t a bad drive. Wish we had time to fish since the house is next to a lake. The house itself is great! No issues at all. And the welcome basket was an unexpected, nice touch. Would stay again if we're coming back down.

Brad was an amazing host! The home was beautiful, very clean with lots of room! Very flexible with our accommodations. 100% will be returning to this cabin. The view was beautiful! I can go on and on about how great our stay was. :)
