Walter and Steve were great hosts. His place was just as described. We had a very short stay, but it was comfortable and just what we needed.

Beautiful and peaceful home. The host is extremely responsive and professional. We loved our stay! This place is good for a family, group of friends or just a weekend away by yourself!

Stayed here for our 5th year in a row for our annual ice fishing trip, Monica and Morley are excellent hosts and have always been great to us, would recommend to anyone!

The beach house was spacious! We loved the view and the calm of nature! We loved the recliners too. The backyard had a great fenced in area for the dogs to play and my kids loved playing on the cold beach. I didn’t cook but the cupboards were stocked! I can’t wait to come back this summer!

When we arrived we were so pleased with the space! It was beautiful and the quality of the home was apparent. The views were spectacular. The area was quite private and secluded; just what we were looking for. The space was perfectly sized and appointed for our group. We were disappointed by the following things, which we shared with the owner bc we couldn’t tell if it was a disrespectful guest, or things that had been overlooked by a cleaner. We discovered a broken plate placed carefully under the other dishes; coffee grinds and water in the coffee maker; and a multitude of dirty dishes, including pans, bowls, glasses, silverware, and plates. Again, this is not necessarily the owners fault, but for the cost, we wanted to be sure they knew how we found things bc we didn’t expect to have to wash all of our dishes before using them! We were careful to follow all checkout rules and leave the space neat and tidy. Can’t beat the beautiful sunsets and views.

Excellent host, venue, and stay. This was our second time at one of Greg’s properties, and he is always fantastic to work with. He is responsive and cares that you have what you need in the cabin as well as have info to enjoy your time while you are staying there. There is so much to do - just starting with enjoying the large yard along the river, the deck, campfire area, and our favorite spot on the property - the creek. Yooperlites are a special find worth hunting for. We saw a Great Horned Owl, many deer, and within 10 minutes of the cabin we even saw a bear. We did a lot of fishing and kayaking both on the river/creek and at Boney Falls Basin, just 10 miles upriver. The cabin itself is cozy and has all the basics you need to make it a great home base. We cooked all our breakfasts and most dinners there. My husband really liked having the use of the grill. We enjoyed some tv before bed to wind down, and the wifi was strong throughout. I can’t say enough good things about our host!

Incredibly peaceful, bed was very comfortable. Pretty much everything we needed was right there. Would definitely love to stay here again.

We came as a family of 12 and it can be difficult to accommodate all of us! This house worked great! The view out front is amazing, Lake Michigan! It was October so it was cold and windy so we weren't able to spend time outdoors here but we did lots of hiking and sight seeing so it was no problem. The large garage is a fantastic place for everyone to hang out and great for a place for the grandkids to have fun. We'd highly recommend this property! Very responsive hosts!! Thank you!

We stayed here for a family snowmobile weekend in February and it was exactly what we wanted. Very nice place right on the lake and close to the snowmobile trail. Close to Midway General Store and a short drive to Kitchitikipi and Munising. Loved the Knotty Pine and Up North feel of the cabin. Jacqueline was very responsive and left detailed directions and recommendations. Would highly recommend.

Nicole was wonderful. This was a perfect and peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in the area.

Of 6 years of staying at many Airbnbs, Jake has been the best host by far. He is always responsive, flexible, and accommodating. He frequently goes above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay. The “cost cottage” was a great place to stay during our trip to the UP. We used this as our “home away from home” as we took days trips all over the UP. Everything was in working order and good condition. Beautiful morning and evening settings along the river. The key lock pad was easy to get in the house and the garage door was easy access to load and unload our vehicle.

Our stay here was beautiful and peaceful. We explored the waters with the canoe and kayaks, fished on the row boat, saw amazing wildlife(sandhill cranes, bald eagles, wild turkey, and deer), relaxed in the sauna, and enjoyed many meals and games together. We also ventured out for a day in Munising for the Pictured Rocks boat tour and another day to Marquette to visit Presque Isle. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and helpful as well!

We loved our stay in this cabin! Very close to the lake and within walking distance to a great coffee shop. The cabin is so cute, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely come back for another stay!

The house was perfect for what we needed with a peaceful beautiful lake. The necessities provided was a nice little bonus.

The cottage is located close to the beach. location is a big plus. cottage themselves were spacious enough for my family of 5 when we visited here. Eric and Amy were awesome hosts. Eric came over and checked if everything was alright and if we need anything. Eric also recommended few places to us which we enjoyed. They are wonderful people and I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting Escanaba or Pictured Rocks.

Totally enjoyed our stay at this peaceful little cabin. Sipping coffee in the mornings on a deck overlooking a misty & serene lake, watching the wildlife & most of all, reconnecting with loved ones. Tucked away on a small, quiet fresh water lake, with a fire pit to enjoy the cool nights while watching for the Northern Lights, this was a relaxing place to unwind. Conveniently located to nearby attractions. Hiking, biking, beautiful beaches, rock hunting, fishing, boating & winter activities. Munising & Pictured Rocks within an hour’s drive. Manistique, Kitch-iti-kipi, & Indian Lake less than 30 minutes away. The cabin is well stocked with all the supplies & cooking equipment needed for a comfortable stay. Janet & Lee were kind & wonderful hosts. Communications were immediate & helpful. We enjoyed meeting these wonderful hosts. Warm welcomes & attention to detail made our stay exceptional. Thank you for sharing your cute little cabin with us

This place is perfect for snowmobiling. Go to end of road jump on fire road and dumps right at main trail. The cabin is super clean , warm and beds are great . Our group could not ask for more !!!

We had a great stay at Debra's place! The location was awesome being right on the beach and the views were spectacular. The cottage itself was spacious and clean, with plenty of sleeping and lounging areas. The outside deck was perfect for hanging out and dining. There is an abundance of water toys, games etc. This was one of the best equipped rentals we've stayed in. Everything we needed was there. All in all a perfect trip. 5 Stars all the way!

Great location 8n the woods and by the river. otters and bald eagles!
