We had a great couple of nights in the Aquarium apartment. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

We stayed a week, but could easily have managed longer! Such a great location for exploring the north Welsh coast and into Snowdonia. the village is pretty, with good shops and restaurants as well as green spaces and access to the beach. It's right on the A55 for easy access further afield. The house itself was beautiful and very new, everything we needed was there and it was comfortable to spend time together as well as get away for some privacy. We found ourselves easily enjoying our time at home in-between busy days. The host was super responsive to messages but at the same time, not intrusive at all. We took two dogs with us which were accommodated perfectly and with the provision of a stair gate, we were able to keep them out of the bedrooms easily. I think they both lost weight from all the running around on the beach but it was their holiday as much as ours. We probably only did half the things on our 'to do' list so I wouldn't be surprised if we visit again!

The apartment is spacious and very clean, comfortable furniture, and the parking was fine. Good instructions on how to get in so checking in was smooth and we could get settled in quickly.

We had a very comfortable stay. The accommodation is ideal for 2 people, with plenty of space and great facilities. David and Kay are really excellent hosts and the place, Rhewl, is an ideal base to explore N Wales & Cheshire. We felt very at home and slept well, the bed is very comfortable! Can highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Lucille’s cosy apartment. The apartment was very central to the town center and train station. We were given great recommendations from Lucille for local restaurants/takeaways which was much appreciated as we’ve never been to Shrewsbury before. The apartment itself was located on a quiet street, and had everything we needed for the weekend - utilities and crockery for cooking, TV with iPlayer etc. The flat was clean and had lovely decor inside. Thank you Lucille - we would love to stay again😊

I stay at Neils beautiful apartment several times a year , mostly a week at a time , and it is absolutely perfect, very clean and comfortable, ideally located for the shops , pub nearby, and a walk on the seafront too . Great place !!

Fantastic stay for a long weekend. Location is very convenient for local exploring with food options and cafes within walking distance. On street parking was tough to find but the paid parking lot was extremely convenient and reasonable.

Exactly what I was looking for, needed to take care of some family business in town, this was perfect for my needs.

An absolute gem of a property! Right in the middle or Ruthin, without being too busy or noisy. Location is perfect, close to bars, coffee shops and restaurants and ideally situated as a base for long walks too. My family and our dog loved the property. It mixes old, rustic charm with modern appliances and decor. We will definitely be back.

The apartment that Sylvia and John offer to their guests is exceptional. The attention to every detail, every object and piece of furniture is perfect to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. The garden of the house is simply perfect, like in a magazine. Upon our arrival they welcomed us to get to know us, to know what we needed. In the house we found wine, chocolate and a cake for our breakfast. The bed is comfortable, the view from the window simply wonderful. The area is perfect to reach other places, walks and excellent pubs. We will definitely return on our next trip to Wales.
