We had a lovely stay in Bala, using it as a base for an activity weekend in Snowdonia. Stewart’s house was ideal for the four of us; beautifully styled, warm and cosy, and plenty of room for us all. We brought two cars and managed to park them both nearby with ease. Really appreciated all of the info provided. Many thanks!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Great for a quiet retreat away from the crowds. Hot tub and games room were a great hit with teenagers. Welcome basket was above the norm. Quality of fixtures and fittings were to a high standard. The grounds are kept immaculate. The seating area by the river was lovely and peaceful.

We had a brilliant stay here over New Year. We had 8 adults & a toddler and had plenty of space for all of us. The house was very warm and cozy, with a great kitchen/dining space and a utility room perfect for taking off muddy boots. The area was beautiful with lots of hiking, cycling and running right from the doorstep with Llyn Brenig in very easy access. The host was very helpful with plenty of information beforehand and responsive when we had problems with a sticky door. Would happily return here.

This was super accommodation. We came to kayak at new year and had a super time.

Simon's flat is beautiful, clean and well kept! The surrounding area is idyllic. It was perfect for our stay within easy reach to Lark Lane and lovely park walks on the doorstep. I was very comfortable for the four weeks I stayed at Darren's in Waterloo. The location was close walking distance to all the amenities and easy to grab a train farther afield. Really nice beach only 10 min walk away. The flat itself is modern, well laid-out and well-maintained and the kitchen is fully equipped for a single person or a couple for even extended stays. Darren was a communicative, considerate host so I always felt like I had support if anything went wrong. I'd definitely come back.

This was our first visit to the Wirral and wow what a great location and amazing views across the marine lake, Dee estuary and the Welsh coast line from “Westwinds”, the flat is lovely with all the home comforts, little luxuries and extras left for us. The flat is ideally located for invigorating walks, local restaurants (recommend Andre’s Italian restaurant),travelling into Liverpool on Merseyrail. Thank you Nicky for being a great host and we will return soon!

If you like to see Woodpeckers, Nuthatches and Jays feeding just outside the window and want to hear only the sound of birdsong and a babbling stream then this is the place for you. Okay, netflix, prime etc is available if you have an account with them via the smart tv, but why not turn off the tv and enjoy the serenity? The reviews say it all really - enchanting. The only negative (for some) may be the 15 min drive up the one track, steep and bending road, its not for the nervous driver, but once done, you get used to where the passing places are and it is all part of the adventure of staying in this beautiful part of the country.

What a beautiful place. Located on the lake shore. The cottage is beautiful, very traditional with modern touches. We all had an amazing time, Great location for trips in and around the area. All in all very impressed. And thank you for the additional touches 😊

Just back from a lovely midweek break at Melsmere. What a fabulous property! We loved everything from the cottage layout and everything provided is really well thought out. Everything was spotlessly clean, I found the bed very comfortable. We spent alot of time in the gorgoeus garden next to the lake, it is the perfect place to relax. We found the rail crossing very straightforward and not an issue at all. Greg and lucy were brilliant at communcating and very helpful and accommodating, lovely hosts. There are local shops within walking distance and a 10 minute walk to the train station got us to liverpool in twenty minutes. Thank you both!

Amazing location! Vicki's home is perfect base for exploring Snowdonia. Close to a couple of lovely pubs and loads of facilities.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, very cosy, comfy and clean, and had lots of useful touches that we haven’t found in other holiday cottages, kitchen essentials like oil, salt, foil, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc. Samantha also kindly left us some lovely treats to eat and drink upon arrival, with personalised messages which our kids really liked, making us feel welcome. Sam and Andrew went out of their way to help us make the most of our trip and were extremely helpful. The area is amazing for walking, with hikes straight from the door, as well as for visiting the lovely local beaches.

Cosy place for 2. Sat in the garden for breakfast and watched the miniature steam train go by. The birds were incredibly loud and the sheep wonderful. Easy walk to the lake for an evening stroll. Good place to explore from
