We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

Michelle is an exceptional host —thoughtful, accommodating, and highly responsive. She has truly gone above and beyond, equipping the property with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. The accommodation was immaculate, perfectly located in the heart of the area yet offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere for a restful stay amidst beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend

Me and my family had the best time at Chalet du lac! The views are just amazing and there was everything you needed to relax and have some fun. The family particularly enjoyed “the temple bar” it was a fab space to unwind with a few drinks and have a game of pool and darts. Both Richard and Sophie’s communication was excellent. Really helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do in the local area. Anyone that books to go here wouldn’t be disappointed. Thanks again for a fab stay!

We had a lovely couple of nights at Judy & Brian's beautiful house whilst working away! Brian welcomed us with the log burner on and a quick tour of the house and showed us where everything was. The house is in a peaceful and beautiful location and we felt right at home! Willow (Brian & Judy's dog) was the sweetest! We played fetch with her and she gave us plenty of laughs. We also met their beautiful cat who gave us lots of fuss too. This was great! Especially as missed our pets when we were away. We would love to visit again and explore the area! Thanks for having us! :)

A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

Great stay! Lovely quiet and peaceful location near to great hiking locations. Having the lake on site was a blast also.

This was my favourite Airbnb so far it was absolutely beautiful, the barn has everything you need and the beds are super comfy with quality mattresses, duvets and pillows! Plenty of space for 6. Enclosed garden for dogs. We loved Richard's pet pigs who came to see us when they were let out ❤️ Thankyou so much we had a brilliant time x

David, is professional, very responsive, provides clear instructions, very thorough, very very accommodating, wished us a great stay, provided eveything( milk, butter, jam etc etc). Very clean modern home. Safe place. I shall be returning.

I had a great stay at Steve’s place, he was very helpful and easy to contact and gave me some great recommendations for local pubs. The place was clean, warm and exactly as described with a very comfortable bed and a nice driveway to park on. Thanks again

Great flat to stay, fully equipped. Very quirky set up with brick arch in basement bedroom was lovely and added character . Could be an idea to replacing the 2 single beds as very uncomfortable with 1 bed quite wobbly. However fab pubs and restaurants on your doorstep made up for a wobbly bed.

We spent a lovely 3 nights here with our 2 children (8 & 4) and our dog. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy & the whole place had a really homely feel to it. The hot tub was great, we also booked the pool on 2 of the days which was really easy and the kids loved having it to ourselves. We used the games room which had some really good equipment in it. The location was a few mins drive into Bakewell. Overall a great family friendly place to stay which we all loved and would happily stay at again.

The flat is very spacious. The balcony is a great addition, offering a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Its location is also convenient just a 20 minute walk from the city center, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Marshal was an outstanding host, always checking in to ensure everything was going smoothly. He was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.

A gorgeous stay with lots of added little extras which were lovely. Clean accommodation and the outdoor area was perfect.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Despite having some car troubles on the way there, it was a 10/10 experience all round! Sarah was accommodating and friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for walks and places to visit. The area was beautiful and only a short walk from the village centre. Very private and peaceful stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us and was excellent. Only downside was that the bathroom isn’t connected to the bedroom, so you have to go outside each time. Plus the kitchen was also missing some essentials like a tea towel and kitchen paper.
