Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

Perfect for our use as a base for Alton Towers - only a 25 minute drive away. We had dinner at the Stafford Arms in the nearby village one night and it was brilliant. The Annex itself was very cosy and ideal for our family of 2 adults, a 9 year old and a 1.5 year old. Already planning a return trip!

It was an incredibly pleasant snd peaceful stay in a cosy, cabin-like space. It was compact and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and communicated everything in a clear and timely manner too. I only stayed for two nights, but if ever I return to Manchester, I'd love to stay again!

Great in every way. Lovely hosts, comfy, cozy, clean and well equipped. Having trees and drying area was a treat. Breakfast goodies much appreciated too! Poynton high street has so many scrumptious cafes and eating places. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. There was nothing I could suggest to make it better. Really friendly couple and so easy to deal with. Pete and Sue's dog was very friendly. The area is beautiful and great walks so close by amd nice pubs on the river to enjoy food and a relaxing drink. Thanks a million to Pete and Sue.

Great value place for a family of five. And comfortable beds for all. Described as a room, it's more of a little apartment with two bedrooms and a living area with sofa bed. Everything we needed was there. Corinne was friendly and served us a delicious freshly prepared breakfast. Being able to arrive when we liked was a bonus too! Perfect stopover for our trip up north. Wow! What a stunning place!! So immaculate, modern, spacious and private. Everywhere you look there are beautiful plants, homely touches and very stylish well chosen pieces. The whole look and feel of the interior is fabulous with plenty of space to relax and enjoy a film on the huge screen. The bed is very comfortable and the vast private garden would be perfect for drinks and outdoor dining on summer evenings. Sean was very friendly and on hand should we need anything and made us feel very welcome. We can’t wait to rebook again soon as it’s already become one of our favourites ever on Air BnB! We loved our stay at The Scullery - it’s such a clever use of space, has everything you need and is really cosy, especially with the log burner. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom spacious. The location is perfect with incredible views of Marsden and across the Colne Valley. It’s just a stones throw from the shops, pubs and cafes as well as the train station. If The Scullery is available next time we’re up, we’ll definitely be booking again. Thank you Peter and Emma!

Our second time staying here, it’s in a beautiful scenic location with great pubs nearby, we enjoyed delicious food at the knot inn about 10 minutes drive away. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable with an enclosed garden. Steve and Julie were wonderful hosts, easy to check in, communicate and very friendly! Thank you!

Lovely 4 night stay very comfortable. Log burner was lovely. Had everything we needed. Lovely watching the birds out of the kitchen window. Love friendly pub near by great food and lovely Sunday lunch. Lots of places near by that we visited. We loved it and would stay again

It was a lovely cottage, perfect for us. We had two little ones with us too so the travel cot, high chair and toys were amazing. Made it easier for us! Super responsive too and everything was just as described. We even got some little treats on arrival, which was a nice touch and very appreciated. Great stay. Thank you so much for having us :)

Great location on the outskirts of Sheffield. Studio was cosy, clean, warm and had everything we needed. Some great suggestions for places to go and a great local bakery just down the road. Julie was quick at responding to messages and made the studio very welcoming. Would definitely book again.

Perfect location; private, spacious, bright, and comfortable. Well equipt and well maintained. 2 min walk to Poynton’s shops, restaurants, taverns, bus stop. We stayed here for a month while visiting our daughter and son-in-law. Hope to make this our home away from home. Thank you Julia!

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Old Vicarage Coach House. It was extremely clean and well furnished - exactly as described. The Coach House looks out onto beautiful open countryside but was ideally placed for our day trips into the Peak District as well as in Cheshire. Stephen and Ruth’s clear helpful directions made the whole trip trouble free. We hope to see you again soon.

Lovely place which was perfect for our stay in the peaks, had everything we needed, even muffins left on the side for our arrival! Plenty of info and recommendations for the area given to us before our stay also as well as a folder full of info in the property. Unfortunately didn’t see jenny or any of the others hosts throughout our stay but that’s because everything was provided and was no need to contact her next door! Could tell if we had of needed anything then I’m sure they would have been helpful!

Amazing Stay in the Peak District We stayed at this lovely lodge for a weekend while visiting the Peak District, and it was an absolute gem. The design of the lodge was beautiful, making it the perfect retreat. Our host, Justin, was exceptional—he went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. His attention to detail truly set this experience apart. For example, he made sure the TV was all set up and ready to go , so we didn't have to lift a finger. The lodge was fully stocked, and Justin provided clear instructions for both check-in and check-out. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more comfortable stay. Would absolutely stay here again! 10/10 :)

We had a great stay at Imogen's place. It was perfect for a quiet getaway and had everything we needed. We took bikes with us and Imogen found a secure place for them to be stored. We were lucky to be there when there was a litter of pups there, so we saw them every day. The dogs don't make any noise, so no issues and you don't need to go near them if you don't want to. We'd like to come back to explore the area more in the future. Imogen was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble!

We’ve just returned from the most perfect stay at this gorgeous cottage, and honestly, it was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled in the peaceful Derbyshire countryside, the setting is absolutely stunning, and the cottage itself is finished to an incredibly high standard. Every detail had been thought of. From the beautiful furnishings and the super-comfy bed to the cosy layout and immaculate decor and amenities it was the ideal place for a romantic few days away. It was so easy to settle in and just relax. The outdoor space is just as lovely, with views that take your breath away. But the absolute highlight? The Japanese whirlpool. What a magical touch. We used it every day, even on the morning we left—it was that special. There’s just no way to explain how calming and luxurious it felt. Karen and Colin have created something really exceptional here. It’s clear they’ve put so much care and thought into every aspect. We’ll definitely be back!
