We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a perfect space for our family with plenty of space for us and our dog. The location was great - perfect for accessing the countryside and the city - with all the amenities needed for during our stay.

A great house in a peaceful area of the Peak District, with plenty of space for five people (plus a dog). The rooms were all spacious and tastefully decorated. The views from virtually every window were spectacular. Thank you very much to the hosts.

The house was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic stay, it's very close to a large park where we had lovely sunny walks. The location was perfect for us as it's very close to where my sister lives and also lots of shops and a great cafe (Mediterranean Cafe) very close. Heather was really helpful and responsive and had all we needed to stay very comfortably with our 7 month old baby. We would come back here in a heartbeat as it was such a great experience. Karls house was perfect and very clean kitchen had everything you needed and more, will definitely stay back here when in the area for competitions

We needed a place to stay after our days of working on our narrow boat for 3 days. The house was fairly local to the marina so ideal. We were out all day but able to come back to a comfortable house with a great shower. Lots of hot water and the bed was super comfortable. Plenty of shops in Swadlincote to pick up supplies.

Only our 2nd time using AirBNB so we are still new to it. Excellent communication from our host and caravan was in a lovely peaceful location on site. Site was well located for exploring the area and two excellent pubs within a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Swallows cottage was perfect for our girls weekend. We were so glad to have good weather to enjoy the gorgeous patio area with bbq. The kitchen was so well prepared with all the essentials we needed and more. The living room and kitchen are so spacious and we loved the carefully considered decor. Izzy provided excellent info and suggestions locally, and was really responsive to any questions we had. We'll definitely be keeping this place in mind for future trips.

Lovely stay at The Owl House! In beautiful private surroundings, very peaceful and quiet; however it is very isolated, so you need to come fully stocked and need a car for getting everywhere. It was extremely clean, and the beds were insanely comfortable (best we have ever slept)! The hot tub was so lovely, and just what you need to relax especially in the evening while star gazing. The hosts were very useful and kind; we couldn’t fault them. The only thing we would note is, it’s perfect for 2 people, would say for anymore it’s a bit snug.

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Where to start- from the moment I booked Jess was so responsive, welcoming and friendly. All instructions perfect. Found the place easily and the house was lovely- modern, clean, as described and lovely little get away. Throughout the time if I had a question Jess would answer within 2 minutes and she gave an absolutely superb pub recommendation! A brilliant house and host!

Me, my partner and kids had a lovely stay here. Place was spotless, nice and big, then with the added hot tub and sauna. All exactly what we all needed after a couple of days at Alton towers. Scott was very quick to respond with any questions we ask. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Allie’s cosy cottage in such a beautiful spot in the peaks! The property was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The view from the kitchen was stunning... and a real bonus was getting to say hi to the lambs on the farm, which made the experience even more special. Great place great hosts!

Wonderfully peaceful surroundings and a great base to explore the local area for a few days. The cabin was just as described and our two boys loved waking up and just watching the animals (as did our dog). Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing (hot tub was again a big hit with the kids) break while there are also beautiful walks and things to do close by.

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Great stay in Birchover, lovely, cozy flat area - amazing breakfast spread and we felt really at ease with the cute decor. Catherine was really responsive and helpful. We enjoyed being able to do a bit of walking from the flat and being within easy walk of the pub. Great value for money, would recommend to anyone in the area
