Thank you for a lovely stay in a cosy , comfortable and character filled home . I loved the quirky details , the handblown glass stairs , sleeping amongst the beams , interesting pieces of furniture etc . Such thoughtful details providing breakfast products , kitchen supplies , toiletries etc . I thought that the town was lovely too and thanks for the local info regarding the peacocks and their nightly gathering ! I’ve never seen anything like it - such a highlight . A great stay .

Sally and her husband were superb hosts. They looked after us at check in and offered the garden to our grandchildren to play in. Sally left milk, bacon and eggs plus some rocky road biscuit. We really enjoyed our time there and the trip to Conkers which is very close was 6 hours of fun. The icing on the cake was the excellent weather which showed the house and garden off in the best way. Great place for the night, good value for money!

The space was lovely! Very homey, and the hosts had everything set up nicely! The stairs were a bit steep - perhaps not suitable for someone with mobility issues - but very in keeping with an older home. We were very comfortable and the hosts were very responsive. Thank you for making our stay in Hillsborough so comfortable!

Great place to stay, comfortable and luxurious with lots of amenities and welcoming atmosphere. William had left out a tray of goodies, snacks and had made up the sofa bed for one of us. House has a great layout, nice log burner, decent TV and comfortable sitting areas. Bathrooms nicely decorated and clean. Just all round great place to spend a night. Lovely property, well decorated with really comfortable beds and good shower. Felt very at home, with a nice garden. Nice village, easily walkable with a number of cafes and pubs. The children loved the local resident peacocks. Easy drive to other areas of interes in Derbyshire.

We booked this property as we were visiting family who live nearby. Ideal for us as it had everything we needed for our stay. The local area has plenty of shops, restaurants and a park all within walking distance. Although it is a basement flat there was a roomy separate kitchen with a table and chairs and a big fridge freezer for our groceries and some breakfast items for our first morning. There was a lovely hot shower and a couple of couches in the living area. Yes, as described there were a few internal steps but we had no problem with these at all. The bed was on a low mezzanine. It is as described on the listing. We would book again.

Elisabeth was great at communicating and we had a lovely time at her place. Very comfy bed (firm which I like) and the kitchen was well stocked, with coffee (and instant decaf, a bonus) for the morning. There was even a hot water bottle and eye masks which was a lovely addition. Would definitely stay again!

A great little find in every way! Kate was a great host and has a fab place. Home from home feel with everything you need for a comfy stay. The breakfast provisions were the best yet and the kitchen well equipped. Comfy beds with good quality bedding and spotlessly clean throughout. The location worked well for us with walks on your doorstep and a short car journey away. Thanks Kate, hope to make a return trip in the future and I hope your place will be available as I totally get why your guests return.

James is helpful, responsive and understanding! I needed a lot of flexibility and quite a few extensions due to the nature of my stay and James made it so much easier. Whenever something was hard to operate or broke down James would help and fix it on the same day! The flat was exactly as shown and is very comfortable and easy to clean. The location is as central as it gets so the entire city centre is easily walkable and there’s always something to do at a few minutes’ distance. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely be my first choice whenever I’m back in Sheffield!

This is a delightful place to stay. The room is spacious, the kitchen is well-stocked, and the location is convenient. It has 2 large comfortable chairs, a large couch, and a nice double bed. Andrew took care to stock the kitchen with milk, fruit, bread, jam, and an array of spices, condiments, and other convenience items. There is a microwave, a fridge, a toaster, kettle, etc. I couldn't think of anything the kitchen needed. It is ideal for someone needing to be at the University of Nottingham for a period of time, since it is about a 15 minute walk to the entrance. Woolaton park is also only 10 minutes away, and getting on to a bus route to other locations is also close by. There is a "Dairy Box" convenience store next door to the location, which is excellent for getting breakfast foods, dinners, and most convenience items. The television and internet both work at a top-notch level. Overall, this is one of the nicest and most convenient Airbnb's I have ever stayed in.

I live nearby and booked Grant’s place for some friends who were visiting Sheffield. It’s a great location, a few mins from the hospitals, and an easy walk into town. Despite being fairly central it’s nice and quiet, with a lovely garden. The apartment is separated from the rest of the house, with its own front door, kitchen, bathroom and sitting room leading onto the garden. All clean and tidy, and Grant was a very friendly and welcoming host. Will be booking again!

Ticked all our boxes, the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. No complaints!

Jane could not have been more helpful and friendly. It was our first visit to the area and we needed guidance for eating out and getting around. She soon gave us a feel for how we could get the most out of our short stay.

Beautiful part of Derbyshire to stay for stunning walks nearby. Ian and Fiona’s home is stunning and we were made to feel very welcome. The room was large and comfy with plenty of draw and wardrobe space to put clothes in. The bathroom was a good size with a super shower and relaxing roll top bath. Breakfast was lovely and just what you need before you go off walking. Both Ian and Fiona spent time talking to us about what our plans were for the day then later asking how our day had been, both of them are lovely, friendly people and we would highly recommend staying with them.

We were so delighted we came across Karen and Mark's place! Our stay was so luxurious - they've thought of everything. Wonderful setting, amazingly peaceful. The breakfasts were fantastic, and set us up well for the day. Karen and Mark were so welcoming, friendly and generous with their time, and we greatly enjoyed chatting with them - and of course with Maisie and Eddie, the very sociable Scotties. This was certainly an ideal base from which to explore the area, and we are grateful to our first-class hosts!!

Maywalk House provided everything we needed and more for our walking break in the Peak District, including a comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a hearty breakfast cooked by Felicity to kick start each day. It's only 10 minutes' walk from the Miners Arms in Eyam village, which serves good evening meals. Felicity is a great host, friendly and welcoming but at the same time unobtrusive. We'd thoroughly recommend Maywalk House Airbnb.

Mick was the perfect host, communication excellent and couldn’t have done more to make our stay comfortable and easy. The rooms are spotless with beautiful and extremely comfortable linen and towels. Bathroom was spotless and had every toiletry you’d need. Breakfast was plentiful and Mick went to the trouble of providing vegan options for my daughter, offering for us to take provisions with us for a picnic. Such a lovely stay and would highly recommend. We had a race at Alton Towers and it was only a 20 minute drive. Absolutely perfect. We’ll be back.

Steve's property was a great find. It's a perfect location for visiting students at the nearby Universities of Nottingham and Loughborough. The accommodation was well laid out and immaculate. We were welcomed by Steve, who always replied to messages quickly. The breakfast provided was an added bonus. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again when we are next visiting our daughter at university.

Nice, peaceful and quiet place to stay. Host is very friendly with two cute dogs. Totally stress free check-in, would recommend.
