My partner and I spent ten days in Carolyn's apartment and really loved it. The other reviews say it all - the space is quite ingeniously set up, so that even though it's a relatively small apartment, it has distinct spaces for working, sleeping, chilling etc. It was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed down to an umbrella. Perhaps most touchingly, it's been decorated and set up with a real sense of personality - the best kind of AirBnB. Thank you for having us Carolyn!

Lovely apartment right in the heart of the action, just off Chapel Street in Melbourne's most vibrant neighbourhood. Very convenient for tram routes to the city centre and Richmond. Very safe and secure. Excellent hostess.

We had a very pleasant stay, close to many great eateries and as well as a well stocked kitchen. Would recommend for anyone travelling through Melbourne.

This place is very arty and quirky. How is friendly and made us feel at ease. The linen is great quality cotton. House is cluttered but that didn’t bother us and I felt that it was very clean. It’s a shared arrangement with the host in case that isn’t understood, however the accommodation was separate and private. The location is super-central- so many clubs/cafes/restaurants and trams near by.

Ideal for what I needed. Noticed the same issues that were mentioned in the previous reviews so I was expecting it. Also had an issue but I had the opportunity to meet the guy responsible when I was waiting for my ride and everything went well. Great location, close to many shops, restaurants…

We had a brilliant stay over Christmas with our teenage kids. The apartment in a great neighbourhood and we enjoyed the space and the well appointed kitchen, the gym in the building and walks along the Yarra. Supermarket, coffee, parklands, nice hotels and a railway station are a short walk away. The secure car park in the building was handy too. There are many great features to the apartment (eg huge master bathroom and walk in robe, coffee, milk, juice, chocolates and chips were a nice welcome!). Only a few downsides being a smallish (double) bed in the master bedroom, and one of the other bedrooms has no windows or aircon (fine for our 15 year old son but this room might be challenging for a more discerning adult). BYO washing powder and bin liners, which are arguably necessities for a week-long family stay. Good communication with host. Overall - a fantastic stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Communication was exceptional before and throughout our visit—the host was incredibly responsive to all our questions, which made everything so easy and stress-free. The location is unbeatable! It's a short walk to both Southern Cross Station (15 mins) and Flinders Street Station (10 mins). We also loved how conveniently located it was for our Yarra Valley wine tour and Phillip Island visit—both tour companies collected us from the Immigration Museum, which was only a 5-minute walk. The South Bank is nearby with fantastic restaurants and bars, and we enjoyed the calm oasis of the Royal Botanic Gardens, just a pleasant 30-minute walk away. The Airbnb itself exceeded all our expectations. It was incredibly well-provisioned, with breathtaking views that we admired both day and night. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Second time staying here. Fantastic location, walking distance to CBD, across from trains and trams. Well equipped unit, everything in working order, and plenty of supplies in the cupboards Very quiet location right on the doorstep the eateries and shopping Lanie is a fantastic host, very friendly and responsive and helpful We would have no hesitations staying a third time

Great location with secure parking. The free tram meant we didn't have to move the car once parked and could enjoy exploring the city easily. Lots of food options and great coffee within walking distance was a plus. The pool was a big hit with the kids and was a very pleasant space to relax. Rendy was available for any questions and was a premium host! The loft had plenty of space for everyone. Thanks Rendy, you provide a wonderful home away from home!

A perfect pad in eclectic Brunswick. Pottery Ct is a cute, very Melbourne redevelopment and Rachel’s flat is cosy, light-filled and well equipped. The bed was super comfy - I had to set an alarm to wake myself up! Rachel was really quick to respond to queries and it was nice to be in someone’s home, surrounded by personal touches and plants.

Great location, only a few minutes walk from public transport. The apartment was much bigger than I expected. Great value. Will plan to stay there again.

A comfortable and tasteful studio apartment. A unique experience. Very quiet and private. Very close to the beautiful beach and a major traffic thoroughfare. Has a small bathroom which people should be aware of. Host was very attentive even while on holiday in Europe. Great for one to two people. Does also have a single bed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sol Docklands! The location is incredibly strategic — tucked in a quieter part of Melbourne but still so close to everything. It was the perfect base for our family to explore the city, with easy access to trams (in front of our building is free tram zone!), the waterfront, and great coffee spots nearby. The apartment itself was spotless, modern, and cozy. We especially appreciated the comfortable bedrooms (everyone slept so well!) and the super clean bathroom — a must when traveling with kids. The space felt fresh, bright, and well-designed. The check-in process was smooth, and everything was just as pictured — even better, really. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next Melbourne trip!
