A truly unique place in stunning surroundings. Very conveniently located near MONA and the wildlife sanctuary with a couple of lovely wineries nearby. The comments from previous guests are accurate - one large living area so suitable for a family.

The home was lovely and well set out. We had everything we needed for the occasion. Great location and will definitely stay there again. The whole process was very easy and communication was great. Very happy visitors

Great place to stay in Maydena- we had 9 guys and it was a bit tight but perfect size for a slightly smaller group. Amazing view from the living room and front deck. Large garage for bike storage. No complaints 5 stars.

A beautiful, cosy home. Perfect set up for anyone doing bike/hike/adventure activities and wanting a comfortable, warm space to relax afterwards. We were riding bikes in the park and key for us was the large lock up shed with some basic bike tools, easily accessible laundry and then stepping into a clean, relaxing space with a good kitchen and comfortable lounge room. Bed was super comfy. Great selection of books. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Thanks Chris and Sam!

Neat and tidy house in a location that’s only 5 minutes walk to the mountain bike park. Plenty of firewood and well maintained house that was freshly painted and clean. Enough room for eight guests with comfortable beds.

What a find! An absolutely beautiful cottage in the most serene surroundings. Linda was an amazing host - so quick to respond and full of advice and recommendations. There was a never ending of supply of wood for the fire. The cute touches inside and outside the cottage were amazing - every where you look there is a personal touch. The Alpaca and sheep were beautiful. Can’t recommend Linda’s cottage highly enough - absolutely loved it!

The unit was lovely and spacious with a beautiful bathroom and kitchen and an excellent view. It had everything you need for an enjoyable stay and lots of information about things to do in the area. Wendy is friendly and easy to communicate with. It was a relaxing couple of days.

We were here for my wife’s birthday weekend. Michelle was so kind to bring a cute cake to celebrate her. It was such a beautiful gesture. The house is so peaceful and beautiful. It is surrounded with private land so many trees and chickens. We enjoyed morning walk sunrise and sunset. Lots and lots of board games in the house to keep your little one occupied. Over all we had amazing time at Banksia cottage.

Delightful peaceful cottage with stunning access to the river. Waking up to the babbling sounds of the water was magical. We even caught a trout but released it. Good access to Mt Field national park. Hopeful we will return!
