Des Moines : locations de vacances avec cheminée

We had a wonderful week long stay to spend Thanksgiving with our college aged daughter whose work schedule didn't allow foe her to travel home. The Daly house was conveniently located and served our needs well.

Deb and Mark have a lovely home and were great hosts. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We appreciated the book with recommendations for the area. Deb and Mark were responsive to our questions and made us feel very welcome. A great stay!

Thank you so much for an awesome stay! We'll definitely stay here again. The large fenced in backyard was a bonus for sure. Our little dogs loved being able to run around free without their leash.

Second time we have stayed here and it is so great for our family. Fran and Howard are great hosts. We look forward to staying there again! Beautiful home.

Great home and really loved our stay! Very clean and easy to get to house with simple access inside. Drew was very communicative which really help our stay. Looking forward to the next time!

Honestly, I can’t imagine a better experience. Absolutely perfect for what we needed. Only wish our trip was longer to enjoy more of what “Harriet” had to offer. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Absolutely stunning. The home itself is just immaculate in both craftsmanship and esthetic. Beautiful surroundings, so many comfy places to sit and relax. Had a great weekend away with old friends and it was the perfect spot to disconnect and catch up. We also chatted briefly with the host and he was super friendly and very helpful - he even offered a bundle of kindling and a lighter when he knew it’d be a perfect evening for a fire. Highly, highly recommend - we’ll be back!

Beautiful and spacious place to stay! Carl was very accommodating and we are grateful to have booked with him multiple times. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere in Des Moines to come with friends and family.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while passing through Des Moines. Becky is likely the most proactive and responsive host I’ve encountered. The space is also totally as described and it’s clear that the host has put serious effort into making the space comfortable with plenty of details covered that other hosts don’t provide: a couple bottles of water, K-cups, snacks, decent toilet paper, information about the area, cute decorations, plenty of seating options, a great shower, etc. The place was easy to access, it is close to downtown, it was clean, and the bed is really comfortable. As clearly noted in the description, you can hear the owners upstairs at times, but it didn’t bother me at all so don’t let that dissuade you from staying here. Great stay all around.

This is our second time staying at one of Daniel’s locations. It was clean, quiet and comfortable at a reasonable price. We appreciate that Daniel was able to extend our stay one additional day.

It was extremely close to the place that we needed to get to so that was a definite plus. Our GPS was not very helpful in finding this place at night, and it was a bit of a haul to get the stuff upstairs. There isn't an elevator, but it is right around the corner after 1 flight. It's by a school so allow for extra time o. the morning. We had a need for a few items, and she brought them pretty quickly. Little toiletries are there to use. It's also a pretty easy check out. If we have to come back, we'll definitely look it up.

This apartment is super cute and had everything we needed. A great weekend getaway that's close to downtown Winterset and a short distance from Indianola. We had three adults staying here, so that meant one of us had to sleep on the couch. That was me!! I it was a wonderful surprise; very comfortable. Loved the warm sun coming in through the bay window.
