If you're looking for a place to stay during your Joshua Tree NP stay, this is it! It's right next to Park Drive that takes you to the visitor's center and the park entrance. Convenient places to eat nearby (Crossroads Cafe) and coffee shops as well. The home is comfortable, clean and well-maintained. The video game machine was a hit with the kids and adults too. We also did an amazing star gazing tour one night as well. If I had to go back to Joshua Tree NP, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This was a perfect getaway for my wife and I. Very cozy space that was the right amount of comfort and amenities, not to mention the great backyard that felt like our own private rock garden outside of the national park. Very familyfriendly, beautiful skies at night, also really enjoyed the deck and the backyard to enjoy stargazing, as well as the hot tub and cowboy pool that worked perfectly as a morning cold plunge.

Beautiful surroundings! We do a yearly family trip and this place was perfect for the kids. they loved the hot tub, pool, ping pong, the hammocks making smores. there was plenty for everyone to enjoy. definitely recommend and will be returning for sure!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ryan’s place. The house was perfectly clean, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches that truly made a difference. Everything we could possibly need was already there — spices, condiments, essentials — all so nicely presented that we didn’t even need to do a big grocery run. The bed was incredibly comfortable — we slept so well! We instantly felt at home and honestly fell in love with the place. Ryan and the hosts are genuinely lovely, kind, and always available if needed. Their warmth really made our first time in California — and especially in Joshua Tree — even more special. We’re now completely in love with the area! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay even more perfect than we imagined. Just a small note: unfortunately, we had to leave a day earlier to catch our return flight, and we’re sorry for leaving a bit of trash in the kitchen. Thanks again for everything, Ryan!

Thanks for hosting us, we had a great time. The yard is especially nice with all the different stuff going on out there, like the hot tub, corn hole, fire pits, and hammocks. Lots of cute decor and furnishings inside as well. One downside was not having a second bathroom for the detached casita, but it wasn't a huge deal (or, maybe put a smart lock on the backdoor). Overall, I would totally recommend staying here!

Absolutely perfect stay! The house was gorgeous, spotless, and had tons of amenities—everything we needed and more. The location was great too, not far from the West entrance to Joshua Tree. It was the perfect spot to celebrate a birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Highly recommend!

Andrew’s home was amazing for a solo escape. The sweeping views, the peaceful sounds, and the homey touches. The bed was comfortable, and seeing the stars as you fall asleep was a nice perk. The jacuzzi and cowboy pool combo was perfect! The shower is a bit small but not a deal breaker. Highly recommend and will be back!

We couldn't have asked for a better place, the location was very private and the house was really clean, and super cute. I feel like the pictures don't do justice to how bright, and homey the house is. Maybe it's because my favourite colour is green and it was everywhere. I initially made the mistake of only booking for 1 person instead of 4, when I reached out to Ryan he responded within minutes letting me know there was no need to cancel; the reservation, because he would make the changes for me. Every time I communicated with him he was extremely responsive and explained things thoroughly, I never felt like he was annoyed of my questions. He also doesn't have ridiculous rules like "make all the beds, wash all the clothes" I'm on vacation and the last thing I want to do is clean like I'm a home. He has reasonable request like taking out the trash, and putting the dishes on the dishwasher. (if you can't do this, I don't know what to tell you ;) Great experience all around

Travis was a very friendly and accommodating host. The house was very beautiful. We stayed in the master suite with its own bathroom and direct access to the pool. I would love to stay here again for a future trip.

I had such an amazing experience at Marty and Sandi’s home!! I felt right at home as they treat guests like family. Breakfast each day was a wonderful treat, the hot tub was amazing, and the location was walking distance and ideal for the Indian Wells tennis tournament. Highly recommended!!

We had the most relaxing and wonderful stay at Nancy's place! She is a very gracious and welcoming host. The bedroom and house were very comfortable, and the backyard is peaceful and beautiful. We started each day with Nancy's delicious and generous homemade breakfast - with excellent coffee amd fresh squeezed orange juice! (Being served breakfast really made me feel like I was on vacation.) We explored during the day - Palm Springs, hiking, a local estate and garden Nancy recommended - and in the evening we enjoyed the backyard lounge chairs and jacuzzi. Nancy's dog is a calm, quiet little sweetheart. I wish I could immediately book my next visit. Don't miss out!

Not just an Airbnb to sleep at while in Idyllwild, but Hicksville Pines is a whole experience to be had (even if 420 isn’t your jam). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the Haunted Mansion hauntingly comfortable - can’t wait to get back ASAP to check out some of the other cool cabins!

If you are looking for peace and quiet and a host that will make you feel right at home you have found the spot. Debra's place worked perfect for us. We just needed a one night while visiting the area, unfortunately found out we should have stayed longer. The hiking and visiting the area needed much more than 1 night. Debra explained the history of the lodge and took the time to make sure we were well settled and had information on what we could do. You will enjoy your time if you stay !

Bruce and Barbara really go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay at their place. Always friendly and very accommodating. They make you feel right at home! :)

Beth & Brian’s place was amazing! We were here for Coachella weekend, and it was incredibly convenient! They were so incredibly kind and so fun to talk to. The room was perfect for our needs, and the bathroom was so clean. They even offered to make us breakfast! I truly could not recommend their place more. I’m hoping to be back there soon!
