Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful private rural cottage. We had walks on our doorstep for our four-legged family member, and the hot tub was a treat. Definitely highly recommend to family and friends 🧡

I had a fantastic stay at Holls House! The location is simply stunning—right in the heart of Dartmoor, surrounded by breathtaking nature and peaceful scenery. The house itself was spotless, which is something I really value. It was clear that great care had been taken to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, making the stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The home was well-equipped, cozy, and full of charm, providing the perfect retreat. Holls was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything was just right. I highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying at Cedar Lodge to celebrate my mum’s birthday & it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in a peaceful location with stunning views, the lodge perfectly blends rustic charm with modern luxury. The beautifully designed interiors, cozy furnishings, and thoughtful touches are what made our stay extra special. The hot tub on the south-facing deck was a highlight, offering a perfect spot to relax. Every amenity was provided, making it feel like a home away from home. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend Cedar Lodge at Lower Coombe Royal for a relaxing getaway. A big thank you to Julie & Paul for going above & beyond! 😊

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage. Helen the owner was wonderful and looked after us beautifully. The extra touches like homemade cream tea and treats for our dog were particularly nice. The cottage itself was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and in a really peaceful location. We had wonderful walks down to the coastal path and Bude is just a short drive away. We cant wait to return.

We booked Mistletoe Farm for a stag do, and it couldn’t have been better! The location is fantastic—secluded enough to enjoy ourselves without worrying about disturbing anyone, but still close enough to Chard and surrounding areas for pubs and activities. The accommodation was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. The hosts were welcoming and gave us great recommendations for local spots. The hot tub were absolute highlights—perfect for relaxing during the day and unwinding in the evening after a big night out. If you're looking for a unique and memorable place to host a stag weekend with a mix of fun and relaxation, this is the place! Would definitely recommend and return!

What an absolutely beautiful place. Really managed to disconnect from the outside world. Owners have thought of absolutely everything. Thank you so much! Highly recommended and will be making sure other members of our families take some time off to go here. Could not have asked for more.

The house was really comfortable, clean and well furnished. The kitchen was really well equipped, had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The check in was easy, as was the check out. Really happy with our stay there. Recommended.

we stayed here for 4 night early January while working in the area a.d felt very much at home dispite the freezing weather the home was warm. cosy and comfortable so.much so I'm booking again to come with the family

Had a great time at Owl Barn. Much bigger than in the photos and lovely views from almost all windows. Plenty of games for our children. Very comfy beds. Really good-sized kitchen. Super convenient for many locations, even the hospital in Barnstaple which we had to visit twice during our stay! Pizza night was lovely. The outdoor games for the children were just what we were after. Alex was very helpful, including with some things that had nothing to do with her role as a host - very much appreciated.

A private little haven, but close to town to not be a hassle to go to the shops.Dog friendly. Kitchen was well equipped. Will def go back.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

We had such a lovely time at the Farm. The cottage was so quaint and the views beautiful. Kate was a lovely host, a very pleasant welcome with cake and a card. Only a 15-20 min walk from Exmouth which we did several times. £10 taxi trip home should you need one. Thank you for making us feel welcome x

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

Absolutely perfect hosts and accommodation. This was my first stay at an air bnb and it was wonderful. Kate couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating and assisted me with additional things such as taxi numbers. The accommodation is simply stunning and the layout of the home means that even if a large group of you stay you still have your own space. The pool is welcome addition as are the hands outside, even the harder to please teenagers had a great time. We’re now home and looking at other dates we can return to the cottage. The view from the lodge was exceptional..... The lodge was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The heating was very good and was easy to operate and responsive. It benefits from a very large balcony with ample room for a 6 person table with chairs (supplied) and there was even a hot tub (although not working in March) The site was slightly awkward for those that are less able to walk up and down slopes as it is on a hill. Although it is beneficial not being able to park outside of the lodges, arriving and leaving with all of your belongings is slightly difficult. Luckily for us it was dry. There are trolleys that can be borrowed to do this but the width and steepness of the paths did make it difficult for the less mobile. I would definitely stay again.

Highlights here are definitely the pool and the play area for the kids. The pool room was super clean and operates on a rota system so you can have it to yourself. Clear directions on the map - dont follow the Satnav as stated. Jonathan was super helpful around check in / check out. Perfect place if you just want a quiet place away from everything!

Superb little place to stay, very cosy, was lovely to find the heating on ready so all toasty when we arrived on November chilly evening after a long drive down. Nice little welcome basket and Milk in the Fridge too ! Great seating area to chill out and watch TV or have a Nap. We had a great few days just walking Berry Head and surrounding areas and some nice Food in Brixham by The harbour. Have added it to our Favourites list for potential return trip as it seems to let late in the year when we prefer to take short breaks. Defiantly would recommend to anyone asking. Just back from a lovely stay at The Elms. Jan was very helpful and friendly and the info on the app was really handy. The accommodation is easy to find and set in stunningly beautiful surroundings, the gardens are gorgeous and I can imagine it’d be paradise in summer with the swimming pool (obviously not in use in Feb!) The Elms was lovely and cosy and has everything you need to make yourself at home. The beds were lovely and comfy, plenty of hot water and spotlessly clean throughout. We drove to most of the local places of interest and didn’t get to walk much of the surrounding countryside due to the weather but I’m sure there are some beautiful walks to be had in the area. The local chippy was nice and there’s a CoOp just down the road which was handy. All in all a great stay, thank you Jan!
