Had a great time at Owl Barn. Much bigger than in the photos and lovely views from almost all windows. Plenty of games for our children. Very comfy beds. Really good-sized kitchen. Super convenient for many locations, even the hospital in Barnstaple which we had to visit twice during our stay! Pizza night was lovely. The outdoor games for the children were just what we were after. Alex was very helpful, including with some things that had nothing to do with her role as a host - very much appreciated.

We had a gorgeous stay at Shuttaford Farm. There are so many lovely touches in the barn that you feel right at home, but it all feels very special and thoughtful. Fran was a terrific host - responsive and friendly, and even leant me a spare pair of walking boots when I realised I’d left mine at home! The surrounding area is just stunning - highly recommend a walk through Hembury Woods. Highly recommended for a family trip.

Fantastic facilities and excellent value for money

We have just returned home after our fabulous stay at the Long Barn. My 3 boys (10,6,4) had the time of their lives this holiday, with a huge thanks to Sara and Rob for helping to make our stay in Cornwall really special. The barn itself is beautiful, in gorgeous surroundings and spotlessly clean. The decoration is tasteful and homely, with fresh local flowers in each room. We were treated to a new wood fired hot tub, which we enjoyed in the peaceful surroundings whilst gazing at the stars at night. Every morning the boys were able to feed the farm animals, with Rob, who was so kind and patient with our children. The boys spent lots of time playing in the play barn, making friends with the other children staying at the site and making use of the brilliant games and activities, we had to bribe them to leave at the end with promises to return! Being in such a fab location with access to the stunning Cornish countryside and local towns made this holiday one of the best ever.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Just come back from Mistletoe Farm after celebrating a Hen weekend there. We all could not fault the hosts, they were incredible & always checking if we needed anything, so helpful throughout the whole stay. Mistletoe Farm is beautiful & so peaceful. Plenty to do within the property. We all especially loved the pool/hot tub & also the karaoke machine was a big hit. It really is the perfect place either for celebrating a special occasion or a family weekend. We all enjoyed our stay & said it is a place we would love to go back to. Thank you again to the amazing hosts. Would highly recommend this air b&b 😊

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

Hallagather Farmhouse was a very successful find for our family Christmas week. It fitted us all in nicely - 6 adults, 4 pre-teen children & 2 dogs - all had lovely bedrooms with an en-suite or dedicated bathroom - plus one downstairs. Plenty of open space downstairs and a huge kitchen with the Aga keeping it warm all the time. The wood-burning stoves kept us all cosy when not exploring the short walk down to the beach and Combe Barton Inn, the coastal path, Tintagel, Padstow & the local beaches etc. Becky provided a Christmas tree and was a good host. I'd thoroughly recommend Hallagather - it certainly suited our three families & our pets!

From booking to departing the service was excellent, the host Peter was friendly and helpful. The cabin itself was even better than the photos, in an idyllic setting and had everything you would need. Sat on the porch or in the hot tub, it was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Andy and Sam were incredibly attentive hosts. They welcomed us so well and made sure we had all comforts for our stay. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. It is perfect for a family of 4 and our children absolutely loved the bedroom up the stairs to sleep in. The log burner kept the cabin lovely and warm and the kitchen is well equipped. We ordered a roast for our first evening and Sam’s cooking is exceptional. It’s a beautiful location with breathtaking views and we had a wonderful stay.

We have had the perfect weekend at Owl hut! The hut really is out of this world exceptionally clean very well presented with the lovely little added extras. Nat and Mark have both been so lovely! We look forward to returning we highly recommend!

A lovely stay for three nights. The Annexe is perfect for a short stay, compact with everything you need. The hot tub is a lovely bonus after a day out walking and exploring, plus the garden is a perfect sun trap. I was able to use the gym, which is extremely well equipped. Nadene is the perfect host. Always available to help and answer questions, even on holiday as she was away during our stay. Thank you!

Claire was the most amazing host from start to finish, all the beautiful touches in the shepherds hut were just so well designed and thought out, including a lovely bottle of fizz. The hot tub was all lit and ready for us to get in as soon as we arrived., we visited a couple of the local pubs which were absolutely delightful serving beautiful food. I totally recommend the Plough and the Hood inn, both only a couple of minutes away. The location of the Shepherds hut was just perfect far enough out of the way it was so peaceful and quiet but close enough to only be 20 minutes away from the M5. We have recommended this to a few of our friends and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for making the stay so perfect.

The Victorian Farmhouse was an excellent venue for a large family reunion. The place was spotless and had all the things we needed (adults and children) to have a great holiday - thank you

Our few days here were amazing, the weather was beautiful which just made the whole experience even better, the views are insane and the log burner inside was so cosy, we also used the hot tub, bbq and the outdoor heater and we’re all bonuses to the already amazing barn. Never thought I’d wake up to the sound of cows but let me tell you, it’s definitely something you’ll have to do once and have a coffee outside with them was just astonishing! Great communication and answered all questions promptly, will definitely come back!

We had the most wonderful stay with Elaine and Simon, who were the perfect hosts and became great friends with our kids (who want to go back immediately). They were kind enough to take the girls around the farm every morning, which the girls adored (and we also loved!). The barn was perfect - exactly how it looks in the pictures, immaculately clean, perfectly set up with everything you could need. We could not have had a more lovely holiday and are so very grateful to our super lovely hosts.

A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. Hollycroft Barn is in close proximity to Upton Barn & Walled Garden wedding venue where my daughter was getting married. The property is fabulous - spacious, well equipped and set in beautiful tranquil surroundings. Tracy is the most perfect host - home baked cake upon arrival, tour of the house provided, fresh flowers in each room. Thoroughly recommended. We will most definitely be staying there again.

Amazingly beautiful location, it felt so peaceful! The accommodation was perfect, they have clearly put a lot of thought into what you'll need and how you'll use the place. The alpacas are fabulous! They are so fun to feed! Thank you so much for an awesome stay x

what a fantastic place! the cabin is beautiffuly decorated, squeaky clean and very comfortable, fully equipped with everything you could need. both beds are super comfy. the hot tub and fire pit made evenings an absolute pleasure. it was so quiet and peaceful. lovely walks nearby. highly recommend!

Perfect stay in such a tranquil spot. Beautiful straw bale barn beside a babbling stream. Jam is as delicious as everyone says. Great for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a quiet retreat. Thank you for your generosity.

Lovely place to stay with a private garden for morning coffee and stargazing (no light pollution!). Really handy to have two bathrooms (one on the ground floor and one upstairs). Kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms had lovely toiletries. Beds were comfy and there was great lighting (some Airbnbs have minimal or garishly cold lighting) in each room to be able to dim or have bright light. Location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit both the seaside and Dartmoor National Park.
