Second time we’ve stayed in one of the lodges and it was better then I remember so peaceful and Pollyanna is an amazing host helping us out with a high chair and cot for our baby!

We booked the accommodation for a family get together of three generations. There was plenty of space, board games, TV’s, to suit everyone! Added bonus of hot tub which was fab! Enclosed garden for our dog to run around, she loved it. Plenty of kitchen equipment/ utensils , nothing was forgotten. In essence Brilliant!

This property was perfect for our family weekend away with 6 adults 3 children and our energetic boxer dog! The location is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for the warm weather. The range of activities on offer at the site kept us all entertained in that we only needed to leave the site for a meal out at the recommended King’s arms in Winkleigh and a walk around the Winkleigh wood trail which was perfect to allow Bruno off the lead. The indoor facilities were clean and innovative, although the 3 smaller bedrooms are only really fit for sleeping which wasn’t an issue. The kitchen is fully kitted and the bathroom particularly clean and welcoming. We loved our stay, thank you Ian and family!

A great place to stay. Very comfortable. Lots of crockery, cutlery and pots & pans. great friendly communication prior to our stay. Was the perfect location for us to see family over Christmas and the house was decorated beautifully.

The most perfect stay! From beginning to end, we felt right at home and so relaxed within the beautiful setting and spacious lodge. Having our morning coffee outside overlooking the stunning Devon countryside, we were spoilt with a gorgeous view of the Exe. The lodge itself was quite simply perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were sparkling clean. We really enjoyed having access to the hot tub. We can't wait to come back and visit. Thank you to Nicky for creating the perfect country escape.

What a great house to stay in, the pictures don’t actually do it justice. It has everything that you could expect and more, plenty of space and stuff to keep children occupied

Even lovelier than the pictures, spotlessly clean throughout, super comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, a lovely hot tub that we didn’t need to wait to heat up, beautiful views, adorable dogs and just so peaceful. Thank you to Mark & family, we look forward to staying again.

This is a spacious and comfortable large House in a pleasant location and with nice amenities. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the host was friendly and welcoming. The Pool Table was a hit with the teenagers and the Kitchen was pretty well appointed. WiFi was good in the downstairs areas but absent in some of the upstairs areas. Hot Tub was nice but warm rather than hot. Garden was spacious and well kept. Lounge was comfortable with plenty of seating and the Dining Room was perfect for large meals together. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

This place was stunning, my family loved being here. Pictures do not do it justice. Would recommend and would stay again.

This was a perfect spot for a beach holiday with extended family. The house is so close to the beach, brilliant for morning and evening walks with the dog, and not too far to walk to the lifeguarded area for swimming. Close to great fish and chips too! The house was exactly what we needed, with plenty of space for cooking, eating together and watching the Olympics on the sofa when the afternoon sun got too hot to be outdoors. The decking area (with excellent sunshades) and hot tub were a bonus. While in Exmouth we tried the barge yoga organised by Exewake - would highly recommend it.

Hy husband, daughter and I had a fantastic time staying at Ilona’s barn conversion. The space was beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything we could have wished for. My 2 year old daughter loved her bedroom and all of the toys and books and really enjoyed going to visit the chickens! In the evenings, my husband and I enjoyed sitting out in the private garden area and watched the sun set in the hot tub - just perfect. If you’re looking for somewhere that is not only child friendly but beautiful and in the most serene setting, then look no further! Thank you for having us, we hope to come and visit again soon!

Had a fantastic stay at Josie’s property - easy to find and perfect location for walks and wild swimming. Josie was bursting with recommendations for local restaurants (we loved the Rugglestone Inn which is just a short walk away) and even furnished us with milk from the local farm. The Airbnb was very clean well stocked with teas and coffees, and beautifully decorated. Wish we could have stayed longer and I’m sure we’ll be back !

Just had another great stay with Alison. The apartment was spotless as always. It is well equipped and Alison is such a great host. She is friendly and helpful. What more could you ask.

The apartment was fantastic, and very spacious for us as 2 couples each with a young baby and dog. The location was amazing, 1 minute walk down to the beach and a nice 30 minute walk along a mostly paved footpath in to Looe. Chris and Maria were really accommodating for our needs and responded really quickly to any queries that we had. Tip if booking over New Years; you can see the New Years fireworks in Looe from the balcony perfectly. We hope to return in the summer and would definitely hope to stay here if it’s available

We’re a couple with a young baby - and we had a great one night stay! Sue and Martin’s place was exactly as described. It was warm, cosy and very clean. The bathroom was particularly spacious. They provided a high chair for our baby and even let us park our rather large van on their driveway. If the weather is dry, definitely walk up to the garden and summerhouse - it has an amazing view towards the sea! Would highly recommend.

Just back from a 2 night stay at Sandra’s accommodation. What a perfect find! Myself, partner and 2 daughters needed a base for the weekend as we were visiting family. The property was well equipped , clean and warm. Before our stay communication with Sandra was great. We were arriving late but this wasn’t a problem as Sandra gave good clear instructions how to enter the property. Sandra had even gone in to switch on the lights and fire on. Upon entering we found everything clean and tidy . All bedrooms were en-suite which suited everyone. Well equipped kitchen and even found homemade scones with some jam and cream which was a lovely welcome. We travelled down during the storm and Sandra checked we were okay on the journey down and to make sure we arrived okay . We would highly recommend a stay here, value for money and a really lovely host .

A beautiful setting, so peaceful. Would highly recommend.

Firstly, Emily was really friendly, informative and helpful. The place was beautifully layed out and clean. Really comfortable sofas and beds with really nice bedding. The living area felt really cosy, especially in the evenings with the fire roaring. The kitchen was full of appliances and good quality utensils. The kitchen, dining and living area looked out 180 degrees along the cliff line to the waterfall. The rainfall shower was hot and spacious. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog to do her business and a great spot for morning coffee. We watched both beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the garden. The site itself is very charming, natural and established. Lots of greenery and views. A lovely meadow to the front of the lodge rising up with a mowed path to get elevated view over the bay The beach/waterfall took a scenic, 8 minute walk to get down to from 151., and its gorgeous. I highly recommend this booking and will definitely return.

A Perfect Getaway – Highly Recommend! We had an amazing stay at The Lodge! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. A unique part of our visit was the friendly goats and pigs - don’t let this put you off! They don’t smell at all and are great company. Gwen, one of the goats, was so affectionate and loved a cuddle - if we could have taken her home, we would have! The accommodation was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped. A lovely touch was the tea, coffee, fresh eggs, and milk provided on arrival. The log burner was fantastic for chilly evenings but heats up quickly, so don’t overdo the wood! There are fantastic walks nearby, and shops and pubs are just a short drive away. Carole, our host, was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. For anyone looking to escape and unwind, this is the perfect retreat - well worth the money. We’ll definitely be returning. Thank you, Carole, for a wonderful stay!

Wow, wow and WOW! Absolutely loved my weekend at Torvale Cabin, my only regret is I didn’t stay longer. The hosts were unbelievably helpful, kind and efficient in their responses. The cabin was spotless, and smelt lovely. Everything you could possibly think of, they have thought of. So well thought out and made you feel right at home. The mini golf was great fun, and we loved it. The hot tub was lovely, and very clean. Loved the free mug, the little thoughtful bits such as ear plugs, breakfast items, etc. I will definitely be back, for longer! Relatively easy to find (thanks to the host’s instructions) but really private and peaceful at the same time. I cannot recommend this place enough! 100000/10 we loved it!
