wow the house was amazing and ideal for me. it was exactly how it was described, clean easy too get to and check in. Sharon was amazing great communication and was always available for me if i had any issues (which i didn't) will defiantly be staying there again and would highly recommend this Host and house for anyone looking to come down in the area

The cottage is in a beautiful estate near the estuary and a short walk from the centre of the village. The village has great rating places such as the London Inn,the strand cafe and the Clipper cafe. The Ness pub has lovely views over the estuary. The cottage had a garage that could fit my large suv just ,and parking in the area could be found nearby. A great base for visiting around . Paignton Zoo was especially good as well as Brixham and Cockington . The cottage was warm and cosy and the kitchen was well stocked with what you need. Thank you for a great holiday.

Absolutely wonderful time in this beautiful house. Surroundings were stunning and we enjoyed the local pub, (The Globe) dog walks around Frogmore and visiting nearby Salcombe and Kingsbridge. We hired the whole house for 14 of us aged 9 years to 93 years of age and it was perfect for everyone. The customised artwork brings so much character to the house and ties in beautifully with the surrounding nature. We are planning our next visit!

An absolutely stunning property. Julie-Ann and Rich were incredibly welcoming hosts and there were lots of lovely little touches such as the breakfast goodies. The kitchen was superbly equipped and the whole property was very spacious. The linens and towels were really high quality and the beds were super comfortable. The views are incredible and it’s all very peaceful and relaxing. Being there at Christmas was very special with beautiful decorations and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly responsive and caring hosts; a very lovely stay in a very lovely home.

Beautiful homely cottage, in a quiet area. Surrounded by beaches and walk. The cottage has everything you need and want for a holiday home. My dog was safe and very happy in the garden, my 12 year old enjoyed the Switch and my 3 year old played for hours in the playroom. The hot tub is a lovely bonus. Enjoyed a morning dip listening to the birds. If you want a peaceful and resting break away, book Matts cottage.

We had a lovely stay over Christmas, Richard’s house was clean, cosy and welcoming. There was plenty of room for our family of nine and the kitchen and dining areas were spacious enough to cook and eat our Christmas feast. Great location with lovely beaches to visit. Thank you.

Bob was amazing. Very responsive before arrival. Met us at the property and showed us around prior to assure we knew where essentials were such as thermostat and had some logs on the fire to warm up the cottage Over all great stay and perfect for what we needed and brilliant value

I had a lovely few days here! The house is cozy as can be, the property is gorgeous, and the hosts are so nice. They make you feel very at home. I loved walking around and exploring! Definitely recommend coming with your own call. It's not easy to get a taxi!

A 5* stay! Ella’s place is just lovely. Very homely and perfectly equipped! It’s furnished to a high standard and the plasma screen TV, very comfortable beds and spacious rooms gave the cottage a very luxurious feel. Perfect for a few days away, thank you Ella!

We stayed for three nights between Xmas and New Years 2024. The cottage is very cute and a cool place to stay. Its three minutes walk from the beach and perfect for taking the dog for a morning walk. The kitchen had everything we could need and the village has an excellent tapas restaurant and pub both a short walk from the building. We used on road car parking as our car is quite large, the garage opposite would provide parking if needed in the busier months and is easily operated with the key fob provided. Kerry was on hand to help with all our questions, most of which would have been answered if we had read her clear instructions properly! Thanks very much for letting us stay!

From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. Karen even had crackers and mince pies in the welcome basket as we were staying over Christmas. It was a beautiful place to stay, both with the interior decor and the surroundings. Walkable to three pubs! I only wish we’d been brave enough to take the kayaks out given the perfect location for it. Couldn’t recommend a more helpful and accommodating host!

We loved staying at Steve’s place! The cottage is exactly how it looks in photos. Clean, well-equipped, in a great location near to a fantastic cafe with soft play for kids. Large garden, close to the beach… everything you could ask for! Steve is very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Gorgeous cottage , beautifully renovated . Cosy but functional . Hot tub was lovely to come back to after a long walk . Peaceful location but within easy drive of Fowey . Would definitely come again.

It is a paradise. Views off the coast over a beautiful garden and golf course through bi fold doors. Walks to the SW coastal path on the doorstep. Lucy was so welcoming and helpful. We felt right at home on arrival. Thank you

We have had the most amazing weekend I cannot recommend the place enough. The cottage was beautiful so nice and cosy, it felt like home from home. The place is stunning, we enjoyed going for nice walks and meeting all their very friendly farm animals. Serina is an amazing host so down to earth and friendly. There is nothing we would change!😍

Such a beautiful stay. The lake is very well stocked, wasnt short of catching. Fish were very clean and active.

Place was amazing, great views and very peaceful. Will definitely look to come back in the summer.

The Caravan was perfect for what we wanted, had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The site was lovely and would be even better for the children in the summer once the pool is open (we went out of season) loads of room for the 5 of us plus the dog could sit inside and out. Would highly recommend and we would love to go again.
