We had a wonderful stay at Bridesmere over New Year and it was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful area, lovely comfortable home from home. We appreciated the enclosed garden for our spaniel, the beautiful and spacious bedrooms and the living area which was large enough for all 7 of us, two families. WiFi was strong upstairs so no issue with all of us connected and the tv had all apps we needed to watch films with no buffering. There is a beautiful walk through the forest along the river just minutes from the house which leads to a very nice pub serving good food. As other reviews mention, the kids room smells a little musty/damp but this was not a huge issue and we opened the bathroom window after showering which helped. Kitchen well stocked but knives are a little blunt! Children loved the games barn and not having to bring bikes with us was really helpful and appreciated. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

Home from home, we felt truly spoilt and didn’t want for anything. All the small touches have been thought of. It was a perfect space for a family gathering, so much space for our 5 year old to be a true boy explore and get grubby and he loved the campfire. The whole family truly bonded in the Brazier which was so cosy and the fire was a focal point instead of a TV. The recommendations in the welcome pack were great we went to the Old Inn for lunch and the food was great. Truly would recommend and we will be back! Wendy was so responsive and kind it made our stay so easy.

Always a pleasure staying at Andrew's and Nicola's, house never disappoints, garden always immaculate, pretty with amazing views. Never get tired of staying here.

A really comfortable stay. Harriet’s house is well decorated and appointed and within easy access to Kingbridge high street and riverside walk. Comfortable beds, lovely and clean and great info from hosts.

An absolutely awesome place to stay at great value! As soon as the door was opened it could be seen that the place is well looked after to a high standard. Located in a very peaceful location, you can almost hear the silence - great if you want to get away from the city and have some time out from every day life. The juxtaposition of the house, the sea, the woods, brilliant walking routes, breathtaking views and more is something to behold. An easy drive into the bigger towns from the house and the dedicated parking space made life very easy! The corner shop is just a few doors down and was handy for those forgotten bits and pieces. Mill View Cottage was the perfect place for a short getaway. It is cosy, warm and clean with everything you need for your stay. The bed was comfy with plenty of blankets to keep you warm but since the heating keeps the cottage perfectly warm these were just nice to have to snuggle on the sofa in front of the wood burner! You can literally step out the door and walk the Tarka Trail and beyond and there are plenty of beaches nearby as well. Hannah was super proactive in communicating ahead of my stay and whilst I was there and her directions were really helpful in finding the courage as it's tucked away down a lane. I would have stayed longer if I could have because the cottage felt so welcoming and homely

Just a long weekend stay but the apartment was great. Amazing views up and down the estuary and across to field of sheep opposite. It was very relaxing watching the boats go by and with plenty of space for 7 of us and a dog. Nice to have dedicated parking spaces too. I must bring my paddle board next time!

We had an excellent stay as a family at Pollyanna’s place. The accommodation was excellent, spacious and very well equipped. The property has a large but private and secure garden area including outdoor hot tub which was excellent, perfect after a long day walking on the beach. The addition of the lake with paddle board and small rowing boat was always a really nice additional touch, I can imagine this is excellent during summer stay (we had a go given we got lucky with a sunny March weekend too!)! The location is great, very close to a number of lovely beaches. Pollyanna was an excellent host, she provided lots of detail and recommendations upon booking and also shortly before our stay and was always very responsive. We’d love to stay again for a future family trip away!

Best Place Ever Apartment exceeds the pictures in all ways. Most gorgeous AirBnB I have been to in my life. Host Guy is the sweetest, most helpful man. Make sure you walk to the beach and check the surrounding beacons for a hike.

Jo and Graham are great hosts. My dog and I felt welcome immediately. Very good amenities and beautiful surroundings. They went above and beyond for me.

We stayed in the apartment for three days and it was as described. Margaret responded quickly and was very friendly and helpful. The house is in a quiet residential area. The beaches are within easy walking distance. The only thing was that the separate washing or drying room smelled very musty.

We had a great stay, the hospitality was perfect, loved the place and we would love to return in the nicer weather. The hosts could not do enough for us. Thank you for a great stay

This was our first Airbnb stay and we didn't know what to expect. We were extremely impressed with everything provided by Loretta, the home is beautiful. Everything we needed and lots of extras to make our stay special. Loretta was really helpful and friendly. The property is in easy walking distance of the shops, beach and harbour, with lots of bars & restaurants close by too.

Fantastic little cottage for our family break away. I even asked for our stay to be extended on short notice (a week or 2 before we were due to arrive) and Eva & Richard were able to accommodate this. I'm glad I did as the cottage was so lovely, perfect location with the beach, the lake and lots of beautiful walks at the doorstep. The little fire stove was so nice when coming back from a cold, refreshing walk.

Karen’s and Steve’s place is in a beautiful location. Lots of beautiful scenery and animals walking around in the huge garden The animals are very friendly and extremely quiet. The property is a beautiful cottage with lovely views. Secure rear garden for our little dog to walk around talking to the chickens and ducks and geese etc. Steve and Karen were extremely helpful and made you feel very welcome. Made for a relaxing weekend stay which is exactly what we wanted.

What a great place. So cosy and homely feeling. Everything we needed to settle in straight away for our little break. Would definitely recommend 😍!

We really enjoyed our short holiday. We would definitely return. We visited the Barbican by water taxi, wembury beach Jennys beach. Lovely walks.. Lovely views. The Boringdon Arms was great. Very friendly. Good and very reasonable pub food.

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

Perfect getaway destination in 5star location. Bude and Wydemouth beaches within easy reach for dog walking. Inside the barn, we loved the oak beams and doors and the shower was truly amazing.

Our second stay at the Hayloft and won't be our last. Gorgeous place set in beautiful grounds. Cute animals and we were excited to see Kitty, one of the kittens we met on our last visit. Very safe for our 10 year old son to explore independently, whilst taking photos of the animals. Owners friendly and informative. See you next time 😊

Sophie is so friendly and helpful. The house is stunning, absolutely spotless and has everything and more that need for a break away from home. The chickens and horses kept my grandsons happy. The hot tub is a lovely extra Snug was perfect for 4 boys to chill in and the kitchen is excellent All the bedrooms and bathrooms are top class, comfy and warm. We can’t wait to return. Thank you so much x
