The Bungaloo is ideal for a 2 person stay. Well equipped, clean and tidy. Kath is a great host. Communication with her was great, friendly and helpful, especially when I somehow managed to murder the toaster! Bed was comfortable and the shower was really good. Everything we needed was supplied, with a great welcome pack. Waking up to the sound of the birds in the aviary was great. It’s a minute walk to the Jolly Sailor where you can get a great meal. A few more minutes and I’d recommend the Old Sardine Factory. The seafood chowder is to die for. There’s a great deli and a Spar shop a minute away. It’s a 10 minute walk over the bridge to East Looe. Sarah’s Pasty shop do the best pasties and Martin’s Dairy do delicious bread. Easy for the coastal path to Talland or Polperro. We got the bus to Polperro from next to the fire station and then walked back. We’ll definitely return as we loved our stay so much.

I had a fantastic stay at Holls House! The location is simply stunning—right in the heart of Dartmoor, surrounded by breathtaking nature and peaceful scenery. The house itself was spotless, which is something I really value. It was clear that great care had been taken to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, making the stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The home was well-equipped, cozy, and full of charm, providing the perfect retreat. Holls was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything was just right. I highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

I highly recommend a stay here. I was working away but I felt at home, all the amenities I needed. Thank you all the goodies for breakfast & tea making. Most welcome. A peaceful, secluded haven.

Our stay at Hilary and Graham’s home was simply perfect. From the very first moment, they made us feel at home with their kindness and attention. The house is a true paradise in the middle of the valley—peaceful, beautiful, and impeccably clean and well-maintained. Their hospitality is exceptional. Every little detail made the experience even more special. Without a doubt, this is a place we would love to return to!

Sue's place was like a home from home. It had everything we needed and it was clean and cosy. It was in a peaceful location and the only sound we heard was the moos of the cows from the farm. It was the perfect base to explore Hope Cove, Salcombe and Kingsbridge. Had a very enjoyable stay.

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

Sally and Steve were lovely hosts and their beautiful place had everything you might need for your stay. They even treated us with fresh produce on arrival, which was very nice and thoughtful. The surrounding area is beautiful and we wish we had better weather to enjoy it even more. Thank you 😊

Andrea's place is in a great location - close to the centre of Wellington but private and peaceful. The property is spacious, well furished, and has all the facilities you need for a very comfortable stay. Andrea communicated well with us and provided very detailed instructions for accessing the property. We would definitely like to return if we are in the area in future.

This was our third stay at the Cow Shed and hopefully not the last. We love the rural location and spending a lazy morning looking out on the levels from the bedroom. Everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. Highly recommend Cardomom Indian restaurant in Langport who cater really well for dietary requirements including vegans.

Lovely Airbnb, and host was very helpful with instructions and also left a really nice welcome pack including homemade cakes too. Beautiful location with walks nearby by on the Quantock hills and some fabulous pub restaurants too.

The annex is beautiful and in a very good location. They are super friendly and would definitely recommend!! Definitely having a return visit ⭐️

The Garden Studio was everything we needed and more. It was the perfect location for our genealogy research in the area. Linda was proactive in making sure we were comfortable and gave us great local recommendations. Highly recommend. Wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

Louisa's Annex was exactly how it was described and it was perfect for what I need. I was attending a military reunion two minutes away from Lympstone so the location was perfect. I arrived the evening before and visited the local Swan pub for some excellent food and a beer or two before having a relaxing fairly early night before my big day. I wasn't at the accommodation that much but as a place to rest my head after a long day of activities and catching up with old comrades and plenty of stories and beers, it was the perfect place to retire to and get my head down in the very smart and extremely comfortable bed in the small up stairs bedroom with an en-suite. In the morning I had to catch my train home and the train station is less that a 5 minute walk from the annex which was great as my head was slightly worse for wear. All in all it was perfect for what I needed and would definitely use it again if and when visiting the area. Big thanks to Louisa and Pete. :)

Fresh, Clean, Contemporary space. Cosy but comfortable. Easy to access & everything we needed for our long weekend. Beautiful natural wood surfaces … loved the shower!! Easy to walk to everything we needed. Bonnie was helpful & accommodating. Would recommend & would stay again.

The Pitstop is super cosy and clean, just right for a few nights stay. Laura welcomed me when I arrived as it was dark and helped me get in, she had also bought me some milk, which I really appreciated. The accommodation is perfectly located to visit surrounding towns.

Just a really lovely place to stay. Gen was brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was fabulous. The accommodation itself was exactly as described, beautifully decorated, the most comfortable bed and a wonderful bathroom! Gen and Mike have really gone the extra yard with their attention to detail. We had our 2 dogs with us and there were loads of nice walks near by including down to the sea. Also some convenient shorter walks to let them stretch their legs etc before bed time! Would recommend a trip to Topsham…fab cafe to go for breakfast near to the quay with amazing crepes…The Boathouse. In the village the Red Wing (6mins walk) is a great place for a pint and The Swan (8 mins) a great place for food. If you’re staying in then Fords Farms fish (grilled) and chips takeaway was well worth the 10 mins drive. Essentially we loved our stay that fully met and indeed exceeded our expectations!

Great place to stay with thoughtful extra touches like the breakfast and advice about local walks. Lovely quiet village in beautiful surroundings - while still convenient for Plymouth.

This is a little Gem. Just enough for two - really close to the beach but not too far from the chippy! We had a fab weekend in this lovely annexe. They have everything you need - its very well thought out and comfortable. A great Air BNB experience all round really. Thank you for having us = we will be back!

We enjoyed a valentines get away here and it was exactly what we needed. The place was easy to find with detailed instructions from the host. Communication was quick and responsive, especially when we had to adjust our arrival time due to weather/roadworks. When we arrived Tony had lit the fire for us which was perfect. He had also laid out some fresh bread, butter and jam (and the cupboards had lots of condiments, salt/pepper, oil etc) Due to the weather we mostly stayed put and enjoyed the log burner and relaxed setting. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were of high quality. We did walk into the village to get provisions, which took about 40 mins each way with some steep climbs. Tony was really friendly and welcoming and we’d definitely visit again.

What a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped and had everything that we needed. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, we loved the hot tub and - like many reviews before - the shower was one of the best we’d ever had! Lyme Regis is a 25 minute walk away, which was very manageable. The local pub, the Talbot Arms, is a mere 3 minute walk away. The food was fantastic, staff were friendly and they had a great pool table! Would recommend a fishing trip with Blue Turtle Charters and a trip to Pebblebed Vineyards for a tour. Sarah was responsive and gave lots of useful recommendations for the local area.

Fantastic 3 night stay whilst undertaking an ecology field course. Clean, comfortable, lovely welcome hamper and Jackie was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Barbara was very responsive as the host and sent through clear information a couple of days before we were due to arrive. The property is in a quiet and peaceful location and was beautifully clean and tidy. It is also very spacious and reasonably well-equipped. Barbara very kindly provided a lovely welcome hamper which contained a variety of breakfast goodies including fresh eggs from her chickens. This was very kind… and went down very well! Overall, it’s a great place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I stayed at Lizi's place for a short mother's day get away. I was absolutely blown away... such a beautiful place and absolutely fab host... we walked in to fresh cooked bread, fresh eggs and fresh milk in the fridge. Lizi went above and beyond.. I had such a serene mother's day.. Thank you again and we will definitely be back :)

Rosie’s place is quite small but comfortable, tidy,clean and has all that you need for a relaxing stay. The location is right in the heart of Hartland . Cozy Pub with fantastic food just a step away from Rosie’s place . Rosie is a lovely lady who was very kind leaving us Christmas treats that made us feel at home . God bless you Rosie ! Many thanks and good luck in the future . We’ll visit you again when we return to visit our family.
