We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

We really enjoyed our short break staying in Seascape. The shops were right on our doorstep or we could do a quieter walk to the castle or Kingswear. The view from the lounge window was magnificent with plenty to see. The apartment was very comfortable and well equiped. Thankyou for having us - we had a lovely time.

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

The Sail Loft was clean and well equipped with a lovely view of the lake. It was ideal for our next section of the South West Coast Path. Jen was a friendly and responsive host willing to share information and answer questions. No hesitation in recommending the property.

Enjoyed our stay very much, two excellent (but with different vibes) pubs a 5 minute walk away. Check food serving days though, Sunday to Tuesdays is limited (same applies over the water in Dartmouth). Easy and frequent passenger ferry and vehicle service to and from Dartmouth five minutes walk at bottom of road . Great vista from the apartment. Two excellent National Trust properties nearby, and lots of scenic walking. Plenty of exercise thanks to the gradients !

We had a great time at 5, Crabshell Quay with three of our grandchildren. The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped with good quality furnishings and utensils. It was very useful to have the washing machine and tumble drier available if required. The heating and hot water system worked well which made life easy. The views from the living room and the en-suite bedroom are spectacular. Our grandchildren liked watching the fish and birds in the estuary as the tide ebbed each day. The dedicated parking place was very useful and we found all the accommodation instructions clear and simple to follow. We liked Kingsbridge and the walk along the creek into town was a pleasant stroll. We would definitely recommend the apartment and will consider returning.

Absolutely stunning and spacious apartment. Hands down the best we’ve stayed in down South with the views, and I absolutely love the grey with accent orange. Everything seems brand new, and you could easily house 3 couples or two families within the apartment. There’s lots to do, especially during the summer holidays. The beach is reasonable and we preferred Woolacombe purely as it is more child friendly and only 15 mins away. Michelle is an absolutely amazing host and is hands down the most approachable person we’ve encountered on the Air B&B platform.

Wonderful Views - this was my second stay at the Rocket house. The first owned by James. It was wonderful. The whole space is welcoming and the views spectacular. The fire in the room was a joy as the wind blew outside. We enjoyed some lovely walks and the pub down the hill is a nice bonus! Would love to return again.

We had a perfect out-of-season stay at Neil's house with our four parents who are all in their 80s and have fond memories of Fowey. The house was clean, light and comfortable with beautiful relaxing views from the front rooms. Plenty of space for 6 people without anyone feeling on top of one another. Easily walkable into the town centre with all its shops & restaurants. Parking was close - and good value following Neil's advice to get a weekly ticket. Access to the front door up the slope might be a bit challenging for the older or disabled visitor but our sprightly octogenarians managed it with determination and the wind behind them!

We stayed at Tristan’s beautiful house for 3 nights - 3 generations to celebrate a 85th birthday! It was perfect for us, the garage was a godsend for 1 car & to keep my father-in-law’s mobility scooter in! The location was amazing, a couple of pubs literally on the doorstep, the beach a 1 min stroll. Tristan was great at communicating - there was a little hiccup (nothing serious) and he sorted it immediately. Would we go back - in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great stay.

Great views across the river to Dartmouth, with a 2 min stroll down the hill to the ferry. You can sit and watch the steam train come in and out of the station from the fourth floor terrace. Bus stop opposite which runs a buses to Brixham and Paignton every hour.

Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The host went above and beyond, communicating quickly and making everything effortless. The house is stunning—beautifully decorated, incredibly homely, and so spacious. With 15 of us, including children, there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The huge dining table was perfect for group meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed—loads of crockery, cutlery, and top-quality appliances. The beds were super comfortable, the showers worked perfectly, and every detail was well thought out. The location was spot-on, and nothing was scrimped on. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—highly recommend!

Lovely situation and great spacious accomodation for 6 of us. House was beautifully furnished, clean and well equipped. We had a lovely boat trip around Looe Island. Fabulous walks from Looe along the coast, both east and west and river valley.

9 of us stayed three nights in November 2024. The apartment is amazing with spectacular views. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The balcony is the highlight with plenty of furniture and wide ranging views. Great location being a short stroll to town. Some of our party enjoyed the spa passes which is a nice added bonus. Recommend the Crab Shed restaurant. The house could have done with a few more consumables like dishwasher tablets and toilet roll. Not sure we should be buying those over a three night stay given the price of the accommodation. We loved it though. Highly recommended.

We had a really lovely short break, the situation helped to make it special, so close to the sea and to our favourite restaurants. We thoroughly recommend The Beach and Rockfish for good food, and La Mar for a special treat. The apartment was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed, even down to beach towels. The bed was supremely comfortable, there is a good shower and my husband says the television was easier to navigate than most in rental properties. Thank you Julie, we hope to return next year sometime to take full advantage of the beach towels!

Super property with magnificent views over Dart estuary. Uniquely designed with a nod to sailing, range and quality of kitchen equipment and china impressed us. Large bed with quite firm mattress. Veranda ideal for sunny days watching the boats and steam train. Easy amble down to the frequent ferries across to Dartmouth, even if a bit more strenuous on the return. Parking for 1 car a real bonus. Would happily book again.

Really nice little spot right by the beach! Great views and a really peaceful area. Lisa was so lovely and really responsive to any messages. Great communication and clear instructions with check in and check out. Really accommodating for our dog as well and made his first holiday perfect! We couldn't have asked for more 🥰

This is the 7th time we have stayed in Looe using AirBnB, being a bit of a "busman's holiday" for us coming from another Cornish holiday village and Gemma's place was in an ideal location, very close to a carpark in between two great fresh bakeries for breakfast bread and cakes . The apartment was clean and fully equipped with all you would need and great WiFi and TV / streaming services - It also has a great view. Would totally recommend staying there

Sara’s home is in a beautiful location, no more than a 2 minute walk to the sea front and centrally located to the harbour. Sara was extremely helpful from the moment I booked through to checking out even checking in on my knowing it was my first time travelling alone

Thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment, it has everything you need, its very comfortable and spotlessly clean, it has secure parking, the little extras like tea, coffee, milk in the fridge butter and bread are much appreciated. Nicola is a great host and her communication with you is great. We will be back later in the year. Jan and allan.

Stayed here over the New Year period and it was perfect. Great location, the sea view was spectacular and the log burner was a great addition given the cold weather. Local pubs were so friendly and food was great. Will definitely return, thank you.

Easy to find, great location right in the heart of the Barbican within easy walking distance of pubs, bars, restaurants and local attractions including the harbour as well as shops. The property itself self is very well appointed ted and spotless. Added bonus of free parking and an electric car charger if needed.
