The farm is set in one of the most idyllic settings I have ever seen, comparable perhaps to parts of Norway or New Zealand. Susan and Frank's garden is a little piece of paradise, full of fruit trees, gazebos, chickens and lush lawns. The cottage is extremely private and fully equipped. Everything worked, including the wifi. Wynyard is only 15 minutes away. The location was perfect as a base for day trips across North West Tasmania. We wanted for nothing and we were really sad to go home after 5 days. Many thanks to Susan and Frank for being kind and generous hosts. We have already recommended the farm as a perfect getaway to all of our friends.

We spent 3 nights at Moontide which was beautiful. The cottage was bigger than we anticipated from the photos and is beautifully decorated with plenty of cushions and throws. The bed was very comfortable and peaceful. We particularly chose Jo’s place because of the outdoor hot tub and outdoor fire pit which didn’t disappoint. The deck is very well done and we had breakfast outside every day and a platter one evening by the fire as well as cooking in the kitchen. Lots of extras in the home which is a lovely added touch and bonus making you feel right at home. Lovely views and extremely peaceful for a romantic break - we highly recommend.

We recently stayed for the weekend, it was very peaceful with a beautiful outlook. The hot tub and outside space with the fire pot was amazing. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend staying if you’re looking for a relaxing time away

Melinda's farm cottage exceeded all our expectations. It was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery. We were greeted each morning by the chickens at the front door and often saw cows roaming the fields. The mountain views were breathtaking! The kitchen had everything we needed, including condiments, cookware, and utensils, making it easy to prepare a home-cooked meal. The fireplace was a wonderful touch, especially on the colder nights. The photos don’t do the cottage justice, it was the perfect place to relax, unplug, and recharge. It was also the special spot where my partner proposed, making our stay even more memorable. We would highly recommend Melinda’s cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable getaway 🙂!!

Wombat Lodge was a cosy and comfortable place to stay and we enjoyed a lovely breaky at the cafe and a great dinner at the Pub, both in easy walking distance. Thanks Tullah!

Lovely house at a great location. Park right across the road was perfect for the kids to play in.

This was exactly what we needed. Three bedrooms and good kitchen. The laundry didn't have a dryer but had an airer and a clothesline. Ulverstone is a great area to stay, close to lots of other places and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice little place to stay. Not far from services. Close to the beach which is awesome. Pet friendly was fantastic. Nice and clean. Would recommend putting internet on for people that want to watch movies as not everyone knows how to Hot Spot on their phone. Otherwise this place was very nice, well presented.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ben and Camille’s charming cottage during my travels through Tasmania, and I can’t recommend it enough! After a series of hotel stays, stepping into their cozy space felt like a warm embrace. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt right at home. The attention to detail was evident, with everything thoughtfully provided to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The ambiance was inviting, and the decor added a lovely touch to the overall experience. Ben and Camille were wonderful hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. Delightful little cottage right on the edge of the river. It was private, comfortable and relaxing. It had every amenity and utensil we needed. Lots of natural light, and the water lapping on the shoreline was very soothing. fantastic outlook and views

The cottage is so cozy, lovely, and comfortable like home. It satisfied both adults and kids including a fresh breakfast and the beautiful furnitures. It's very meaningful to stay a night in this historical house. My kids loved the feeding session in the morning and Louise made it a great experience for them in detail. Although if there is one thing, the wood stove was under construction even though we didn't expect it to be and was excited to use it. We will never forget the day here!

We had a bit of trouble with the electronic lock, but Julia was pretty quick to respond and sorted the problem quickly. The front bedrooms were a tiny bit noisy once the trucks started going past in the morning, but I suspect the back bedroom would be peaceful. We loved the dartboard. The kitchen was spotless with loads of cutlery and crockery. The location was perfect for our purposes. Great stay, thank you.

Full of charm and character for a winter escape. The fireplace and heaters in each room worked a treat for our 3 night stay. Good base to head out on day trips to explore Launceston’s surrounds.

Wonderful hosts with everything that you need. We have had a most enjoyable stay in a very comfortable, sustainable and eco friendly environment. We were so happy with the home grown produce provided, the apples, tomatoes and eggs were absolutely delicious!. We plan to come back very soon and would highly recommend staying in this lovely cosy retreat.

What a lovely place to stay. Beautiful views, spacious (entire cottage and access to gardens), peaceful and we were delighted by the host's dog, Benji. Margrieta's hosting style was warm, friendly and thoughtful, adding touches of local and homemade produce for breakfast. I would definitely recommend Dragonfly Cottage. My interstate friends were very impressed and the location was central to our touring needs. Thanks so much, Margrieta. We had the best time.

Nicky and Rob’s haven is beautiful. Nicky met us on arrival and explained how we could explore the River walk, which we did. It’s a very clean and peaceful space to be. Nicky had provided some yummy snacks for us and she even left us a card and 2 chocolate love hearts as it was our anniversary. Breakfast was provided and was delicious. This is a 5 star Airbnb. Nicky is delightful (we didn’t get to meet Rob) and we were totally impressed!

We had a really beautiful stay at Chris’ place! The home is very close to the centre of town and walkable to everything in Sheffield. It’s super quiet, cosy, and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything needed to have some lovely meals in. Chris was a great host, very communicative and responsive. Thank you!

A beautiful, peaceful cottage right on the Tamar River — the perfect escape. The views were stunning, the cottage was cozy and well-equipped, and we loved every minute. A special highlight was the friendly resident dog who adored playing fetch. Such a memorable stay — we’d love to come back!
