I stayed at The Old Dairy for nearly a month over Christmas and New Year’s. The entire experience from beginning to end was absolutely sublime. Nothing was overlooked and every attention to detail was apparent throughout the cottage. Welcome baskets , Christmas treats, helpful tips and suggestions, and the most lovely and attentive hosts, Victoria and Rusty, you will ever encounter. Beyond all expectations I promise you! This is a lovely cottage in a fabulous location. Easy access to both the Brecon Canal for walks towards Brecon or Crickhowell or the many paths up into the hills to enjoy the breathtaking scenery if you fancy something a little more challenging. After a good day of walking the two local pubs are both excellent with a good dinner, glass of wine or a cold beer at The Red Lion which is a short walk away. Communication and Check-In Instructions were perfectly clear. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a lovely weekend getaway here. Everything was clean and tidy, the hot tub was nice. It's a very remote location but easy to find. We had a visit from a very friendly cat a few times a day, and there are sheep in the surrounding fields. Great for animal lovers 😊

Six adults and a Beagle stayed at Old Forge Cottage for a birthday celebration weekend. It was perfect for our needs and is one of the nicest Airbnb places we have stayed in. It is in a great location for exploring Ross-on-Wye and very convenient for the local Parkrun, countryside walks and all the nearby coffee shops and restaurants. The house is spacious, very well equipped and very attractively decorated and very comfortably furnished. It was great having an enclosed garden that the dog could use. Zoe was a great host, very communicative and gave us lots of information and helpful suggestions.

We had a lovely stay for a few nights. It wasn't great weather, so the little games room on site was very useful to entertain the kids. Great, quiet, countryside location but not too far from pubs etc. The barn had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Perfect stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of walks. Mike was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge of the local area. The lake house was spotlessly clean and kitchen well equipped. Glad we brought all our provisions with us as local shops some distance away. Mike was very helpful with my elderly mother, very patient and nothing too much trouble. The highland cattle were an added bonus. If you’re looking for a quiet few days away then mikes place is the perfect getaway. Thank you for your kindness Mike it was much appreciated.

When we arrived at Rebecca’s place we were blown away. The photos don’t do it justice! The place is bigger than we initially thought, providing enough space for everyone to have their privacy when wanted and also for us to enjoy using the communal areas together. Rebecca provided everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. 5 min drive from hay on wye and 30 min drive to Pen y Fan. Will definitely be staying again!

We booked The Stables, The Hophouse and The Loft for our wedding party. All 3 were excellent. We would highly recommend staying here, in particular if you’re getting married locally, such as at Bredenbury Court Barns. Sarah was a great and responsive host - thank you again!
