Diani : locations de vacances en bord de mer

Sandarusi is a beautiful house, set on our favourite stretch of beach - we'll be back! Thanks to Anthony and Rodgers for looking after us so well

We had a great stay at the property and suitable for little children. Rachel the housekeeper welcomed us and came daily, the property had everything we needed for a long week end stay. The beach was a few meters from the house with an Askari (guard) on the gate and an Askari on the main gate so you felt safe. The pool is wonderful just what was needed to cool off in the heat. We chose to have a chef, John, who bought all the groceries and fish and prepared everything requested even during a power cut he produced our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful and large house, garden, and beach. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, in-house chef made delicious food, the beach was basically private and the owners communicated well with us. The location is fairly remote but even without our own transport, we were able to take a taxi to diani without a problem. The beach itself is fairly shallow so massive swims are not really an option but snorkeling works and it is still very beautiful. Would come here again any day. Thank you team!

The house is beautifully presented with 4 enormous double bedrooms, two with equally enormous balconies. The pictures do not do the property justice. Mzuri House is part of a well run little complex. Security is ever present and you feel perfectly at ease at all times. The house feels very private and is 20M from the quieter Galu Beach, an extension of Diani beach. Sails and Salty Squid restaurants are excellent and only 100M. However the main attractions at Mzuri House are Liz the housekeeper and Shee the chef. Both were amazing hosts. Liz will communicate with before you arrive. She will arrange everything for you from airport pick-ups to restaurant bookings as well as keep the house spotless. Shee the chef prepares delicious breakfasts and lunch and / or dinner. All meals were extraordinary local dishes that our usually difficult to please 3 kids devoured! We can not recommend Mzuri House enough and in particular Liz and Shee.

Das Little Canada Beach House ist wunderschön! Wir haben uns unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist top, jeder Zimmer ist riesig und alle Schlafzimmer sind mit eigenem Bad ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich mit Pool ist richtig schön und bietet einem viel Erholung. Der Strand ist nur wenige Meter entfernt. Das Haus befindet sich in einem schönen und abgesicherten Bereich. Drum herum sind Supermärkte und Restaurants entweder zu Fuß oder gut mit Uber oder TukTuk erreichbar. Die Haushälterin Elisabeth ist super, immer nett und hilfsbereit und hat unseren Aufenthalt einfach perfekt gemacht. Auch Duka, verantwortlich für Garten und Pool, war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Köchin Cynthia, die wir tageweise Vorort hatten, war ebenfalls super und hat uns sehr leckere Speisen gemacht. Mikhail konnte man bei Fragen immer erreichen und es lief alles problemlos, auch das frühere Ankommen und spätere Abreisen. Wir sind total begeistert und können die Unterkunft nur jedem empfehlen!

We stayed at the Warm Sea Sand and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was incredibly quiet and peaceful, offering direct access to the beach, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The manager, Rosa, who also doubled as the chef, was phenomenal. Her food was outstanding, matched only by her warm and welcoming attitude. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The only small suggestion I’d make is to swap the regular bathing soap for shower gels in the bathrooms, as they’d work better with the hard water. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Great host . Helped me with everything and was very responsive . The building staff is great . Security so very safe . Nice pool and steps away from the most beautiful beach. Internet worked normally and she had fans which most airbnb do not have in Kenya ( in addition to ceiling fan ) and soon as you step out there are tuk tuk so transportation was easy and food is nearby . The Pilau and bar Nextdoor is amazing . Glad I booked and had the chance to relax

Amazing place, amazing spot, the host was super friendly and had friendly staff to help us out when needed. The location, the garden, the view, the pool, was just everything we could have hoped for. We even got an upgrade to the bigger house because it was empty. Really lovely and we will definitely come back!

We spent a week in this apartment, and had a great time. The apartment and resort are very nice, and we were taken very well cared for by Emily the housekeeper, and Iddi the chef she recommended!

Al Mahali is a lovely place with beautiful views, lovely staff and fantastic ambience. The location is right in front of the beach with easy and safe access. The gardens are beautiful, and the chefs on hand make fantastic fresh delicious meals. It's an idyllic place that leaves you feeling tranquil and at peace.

Catherine was extremely responsive and quick to answer any queries. The studio was very clean, kitchen well-equipped, bed comfortable, and flat-screen TV with Netflix etc. Outside there are two swimming pools and a paddling pool, nicely landscaped gardens, and on the ground floor of the hotel there is an extensive open area with lots of seating which swallows/house martins dart through. Pleasant place to sit, as it catches the breeze. My wife is Kenyan, a medical professional, and we were both impressed by the Catherine's place. We have stayed at several Air BnBs along the Kenyan coast over the last few years, and this was the best we have found. We travelled with our infant son, who seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful holiday which suited our family of 6. The house was spacious and full of beautiful furniture, carvings and paintings. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and efficient. Our chef, Bryan, was exceptional. I loved getting up for a swim at 7 o'clock and chatting with Salome. There were plenty of places to sit, read, chat and watch the monkeys! In the evenings we sat on the balcony under the moon and listened to the sound of the waves. It was like Paradise.

Had a great stay in Monicah’s place. As a host she was very responsive and even provided me with an extra fan to be able to handle the heat. The unit is perfect for a short or long stay.

great place inside the apartment and funny different on the outside facilities. lots of friendly people, private beach area. and great staff. Also good clean pools. Free beach chairs. we loved it

Appartamento molto ben tenuto. Climatizzatore efficace, cucina ben fornita e moderna. Ogni richiesta è stata esaudita. Rapporto con tutti ottimo. Ci tornerei volentieri!! Grazie veramente Carene 🙏

Found the place no problem on Google maps. John was very helpful and communicative. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The Wifi and a/c worked great and it was nice to have a full kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, etc. Unfortunately, the washing machine was out of service during our visit, but John was very helpful in arranging to have our clothes washed anyway. The unit is inside what was built to be a resort, the infrastructure of which is a bit run down in parts, but didn't negatively impact the quality of our stay. The location was great with plenty of restaurants and shopping just a short tuk-tuk ride away. Overall, a great value for the area.

The apartment was great. It’s big and looks good. The building is called Heiner’s Sandbox. It’s in the approximately 6th row to the beach which is about 800m or 5 minutes walk to the beach. This information would be helpful to be included in the description. There’s a private beach access where I could also let my kite stay protected for a couple of hours. Kiting in front of the beach access was good.

Had a great time at the penthouse. Bruce was kind, responsive and was able to check us in very early. The property has a very beautiful pool and greenery. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away and there are tons to do nearby.

Le Chalet face à la mer proposé par John est juste magnifique ! Ayant beaucoup voyager j’ai rarement eu l’occasion de tomber sur un logement aussi incroyable. Tout est fait pour passer un moment inoubliable, du confort à l’emplacement, de la gentillesse incroyable du personnel qui sont présents pour vos moindre question et qui fond en sorte que vous ne manquiez de rien, aux bons conseils en tout genres, au propriétaire, il y a tellement à dire. Le lieu est magique et face à l’océan indien que vous pouvez voir dès le matin sur la terrasse en buvant votre café où qui vous berce la nuit. Nous avons juste hâte d’y retourner en famille pour un séjour plus long je ne saurais vous conseiller mieux si vous visiter Diani et sa plage considérée comme une des plus belles d’Afrique.
