This place is beyond words! Spent 4 days...booked 7 for next year. What a gem! Beachcombing, on your own private cove, the setting, the view... saw habour porpoise, seal, eagles and of course lots of deer. An incredible getaway to disconnect. Only wanted to stay longer! The place is simply perfect! Even the fog is fascinating and atmospheric. Never slept better! Thanks Ashley! Much appreciated...see you next year Deer Island and Chocolate Cove! We had a wonderful stay. The bunkie was cozy and well decorated. Rhonda clearly put a lot of effort into giving the space a great vibe and a theme that followed through entirely. It was still easy to get out and do activities. Can’t wait to go back!

My stay here was absolutely lovely and exceeded my expectations. Definitely the best set up cabin I have been to! Tge hosts were great. You can see how much love, care and work that has gone into this spot. Cannot wait to stay again in the future!

My friends and I had the best stay at this cabin! We loved everything about it. We would love to come back again in the summer to also enjoy the lake! We loved the hot tub in the snowy weather. The place was clean and had everything you may need. Such a good little getaway spot.

Host was very nice and responsive, the cabin was in excellent shape, quiet and peaceful . Did not expect the owners of the property to also own a restaurant down the road, which completely blew us away with the food, atmosphere and service. I would definitely recommend someone to come check this place out!

Abby's cottage was clean and fresh and in a beautiful location as described. Communication was prompt and clear throughout. Abby and her husband Brian were excellent hosts who exceeded our expectations.

This cozy, warm, welcoming place is a perfect home base for exploring Nova Scotia. My husband and I loved it. We will try to return. It was a wonderful stay. I highly recommend it without any hesitation.

This place is a gem! Wonderful views, very cozy space, a huge deck, well-equipped kitchen, and close to a bunch of really excellent hiking trails. It was the perfect comfy and relaxing place to come back to in the evenings!! And Kay is so great, just so nice and her gardens are lovely. Also really enjoyed all of Randy's metalwork! Would definitely stay here again. :)

The cabin is great! The scenery is beautiful. We spent most of our time out on the deck watching for seals and enjoying the birds. We only had a few questions about the cabin and John responded quickly and in a friendly fashion. I felt the description of the cabin matched the reality. It was a great place to unwind. We hope to stay there again.

We had a great stay at the Carleton cottage. The place was lovely, the view was beautiful, and the vibe was relaxing. Morgan was very responsive, and gave us all the details we needed. I would highly recommend the cottage as well as the host, any time of the year.

Great location for what we needed! Very clean and had lots of extra amenities. Hosts were very accommodating for checkin and sleeping arrangements needed for our group. Would definitely recommend and love to return.

We booked this space for my parents from South Africa and they had a delightful stay at Eastport. The hospitality from our host,Janet, enhanced our experience. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and we could not wish for a more attentative host. The unit was pristine clean and beautiful and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We had a great time staying at Bob's place. There were ample beds for our large group, a well-stocked kitchen, and cozy living room to spend time together. We enjoyed walking down to the lake and the beautiful views! Would absolutely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Meddybemps! The autumn colors were spectacular and we spent all three days in the area exploring Moosehorn- which was a delight! We appreciated the great cookware, super comfortable bed, cozy cabin atmosphere and the beauty of the lake! The cabin was perfect for our family of three - and thank you for being dog friendly!
