La maison de John est superbe. Tout y est prévu pour que vous vous sentiez à l’aise dans une ambiance cosy et chaleureuse. Le site est vraiment exceptionnel. D’un calme et d’une beauté incroyables. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La cheminée est un super plus ! Nous avons profité de tous les avantages de la maison, sauna et balnéothérapie, c’était vraiment très appréciable. Tomas, le concierge, était vraiment super sympathique, disponible et utile pour nous conseiller sur les atouts de la péninsule de Beara et les restaurants. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir rapidement chez John ! Nous recommandons +++++++ sa belle demeure ! Merci !

Was a great location and chance to be in Kenmare! Have a family of 6, so it was great to have enough space for everyone. All four kids were comfortable and enjoyed walking through the streets of Kenmare. We only stayed two nights, and were charged extra for the cleaning fee which was figured out later, so fyi

The apartment has everything you need for a short stay in a remote peaceful setting. Communication re. check in was great. There is a lockbox for self check in however Nina met us on arrival and showed us around. The apartment was clean, warm and well stocked. There is not much room for luggage so pack light as the space is small. We chose this mainly for the sauna and plunge pool and they did not disappoint. Noel has done a wonderful job on the wood burning sauna and the natural plunge pool is what you would dream of having in your garden, it really was magical. We did not manage to use the fire pit as the weather was wet and windy but it looked lovely. We drove the Beara Way one of the days and was easily done from this location. The drive from Bantry and the nearest pub/restaurant is about 15 minutes on a narrow country road that I would not recommend doing in the dark so if you want peace and quiet and are happy to be secluded in the evenings this is the place for you.

Excellent holiday for our family from start to finish! Peter was friendly and responsive in his communications and getting in and out of the property was effortless. The location was just perfect ! Great restaurants close by, access to a lovely swimming pool in the hotel just across the road, shops nearby & easy walk into town. The house was immaculately cleaned and had everything we needed and furniture was all very comfortable and good quality. Kenmare is a great base for exploring the local area - I would highly recommend Peter’s holiday home to anyone who is planning a trip to this area of Kerry!!!

We were a family of 4 adults - a 16 year old and an 8 year old and the house and location were ideal for us as the 2 adults and 2 kids were visiting from Australia. We were able to entertain friends who popped in as there was so much space, well equipped kitchen, huge BBQ etc. We loved this house and would go back. The only negative was the WiFi was not great in the house, but it's also not great reception in the area - so hopefully that will improve. If you were going to work while staying it wouldn't be easy to do so. A great experience was had by all and the highlight was being able to use the pool and leisure centre in Sheen Falls Hotel across the road. Whenever we needed anything Paudie or Kathy were on it immediately.

Grande maison avec de grandes chambres et chacune une salle de bain. Literie excellente et tout ce qu il faut pour faire la cuisine. Maison très calme dans un joli quartier. Tout peut se faire à pied. Très bon camp de base pour découvrir une très belle région et faire de splendides randonnées.

I would give 11 out of 10 if I could. The home is so stylish and comfortably furnished, and feels very luxurious. Whatever the weather here, the views across the bay were always fabulous and ever changing. I had arrived with high expectations which it totally met and indeed surpassed. Painful to have to leave. The only consolation was to promise ourselves that we would come back again soon.

Lovely home in a great location. Walkable to the town via a path right next to the house. Well equipped with all necessary utilities. Very responsive host with easy instructions for accessing the property. Would highly recommend a stay in John’s home in the lovely town of Kenmare.

Great house, photos don’t really do it justice. Very homely, has everything you need and the aga kept us warm and cosy. Deirdre was a great host and left us a nice hamper. The 15 minute walk into the town was very nice but might not suit everyone.

Excellent hosts and plenty of room to spread out. Good location for getting in between tourist spots. Would stay again.

Beautiful house in a stunning location. The house was very clean, comfortable and warm. Plenty of space in all the rooms and the views from all the windows were fabulous. Close to Ventry for beach, walks and one or two restaurants and only 10 minutes from Dingle. The host was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathy's as a family of 6. It was a fab location 8 minute drive outside the town. We used a taxi once and it was €14, taxis were always available on the street and by using the freenow app. Kathys accommodation was spotlessly clean, great wifi, easy check in. Everything was amazing and the house is huge. Thanks for a great stay Kathy. We will definitely be back.

Merci à Bridie pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. quelle belle maison, très confortable, vraiment au delà de nos attentes. nous avons beaucoup profité d'escapades à couper le souffle dans la région, et le soir nous avons apprécié de nous reposer dans cette très belle maison, fleurie tout autour, dans un environnement calme et reposant. la literie est très confortable, la cuisine bien équipée avec des épices, des ustensiles adéquats... rien ne manquait. la salle de séjour avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et la montagne, quelle lumière... c'est là que nous étions principalement en famille. tres agréable d'y prendre son petit dejeuner et d'y sentir la chaleur du soleil, dont nous avons eu le bonheur de pouvoir profiter pendant notre séjour. c'était la première fois pour nous en Irlande et dans cette région, qui est absolument magnifique. nous regrettons presque de ne pas y être restés toute la semaine ! nous avons envie d'y revenir. amicales salutations, prenez soin de vous Bridie

Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Sehr schöne Unterkunft, gut erreichbare Pubs und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, tolle Gegend. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Kenmare. Dankeschön!!!

We had a great stay. Lovely house in a beautiful spot. Beds were so comfy and we particularly appreciated the wonderful views from the conservatory.

Martin’s place was perfect!! I only wish we had booked more time here! Super clean, super spacious and a great location to everything we wanted to go do and see!

This is a beautiful home and served our group' s needs extremely well. Karen was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Even beyond what we would hope to experience with our host, she went above and beyond by providing some chauffer services to town for members of our group. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful property to anyone playing golf at Ballybunion or just visiting the general area.

We have just had the most wonderful stay at the red brick house. We were a group of 3 adults (one elderly) and 4 children aged 10, 8, 6 and 3. The house fit our needs perfectly, plenty of room for the children to run around in with the fantastic addition of the basement games room which had plenty of use from us all. Location was perfect for my elderly father in law as was only a short walk to the town. Joe who was there to greet us was very welcoming and helped settle us in and was also there to check that our stay had gone ok at the end. We will most definitely be back. Thank you very much. Brilliant property, great location, fab views, well equipped and cosy. We had a great long weekend with my parents in law, was very accessible for my disabled mum in law as there was a fabulous downstairs en-suite bedroom . Anne Marie was so helpful and responded really quickly to any questions we had. We can’t wait to go back again soon.

This house was perfect for our needs. As a large group of adults, the number of en-suite rooms was great. The house had a wonderful large kitchen/living space, perfect for gatherings. The house was warm and beds were comfortable. Barbara was quick to respond and very helpful with our check-in and check-out arrangements. There was plenty of equipment and a well stocked cupboard of herbs and spices and odd bits that you need but don’t want to buy just for a few days. The location was perfect - 10 min walk to the centre of Bantry and the views are amazing from the house (despite the rain). We will definitely be back.
