Spacious, cozy and away from the hustle and bustle!

My family and I were very comfortable. The beds were good quality and we all had enough space.

Another great stay. Always look forward to our stay here. The place is always as described. The view of the river is amazing either from the house or down on the dock. Highly recommend if you looking for a nice quiet place to stay. Janet is always helpful with anything you may need.

Incredibly good accommodations, easy check in and a whole book with recommendations! Incredibly spacious for the price, in a really private area of Richmond 15 minutes away from anywhere you might wanna go in the city. Big recommend!

From the moment we stepped inside the " The Cottage" we were absolutely charmed. Kay left a bottle of wine and personal message for us along with a stocked frige full of lovely breakfast delights. This is absolutely the nicest and most comfortable stay we have ever had. If I could have given Kay and her husband Carter 10 stars I would have.

We stayed at Katy's for a small family gathering and to see the sights in Richmond. The property was private, peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the trains passing across the canal but others might not. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood with quick and easy access to many parks, museums and other activities. We had no issues with the house or amenities and Katy promptly and helpfully responded to our questions.

A great stay in a great location. Peaceful and secluded, but still very close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. The house itself was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We loved the cozy detached kitchen.

Jennie Ray’s home is a little piece of heaven—like stepping into a fairytale. Every room is filled with warmth, intention, and beauty—from the cozy amenities to the vibrant gardens and soul-soothing books tucked throughout. I came as a tribute to my father on my birthday, now the age he was when he passed. Though my husband stayed behind due to a family emergency, I hiked 10 miles solo and found deep peace here. The hot tub, overlooking trees and birds soaring above, made me feel like Snow White. The yoga room was fully stocked and serene. My favorite spot: journaling in the front room by the koi pond, through the bay window. Jennie was the most thoughtful, gracious host. Her space offered both rest and renewal—and I left feeling whole again.

We loved staying at Nadine's place! Great location that is walkable to a lot of local things to do. The neighborhood itself is beautiful. The apartment was exactly as described and was quiet and peaceful. Loved having the snacks on hand. It was a great place to stay for a weekend. Nadine was super responsive, and even messaged me when she found my phone charger that I had left when we checked out! Highly recommend staying here - we'll be doing the same next time we're in town.

this is a very quiet place to stay with a very large living room. sitting in the back yard overlooking the creek was a nice place to be in a little bit of nature.

The apartment/condo is just as described. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots/pans and everything else I use in my kitchen. That was a treat. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The home was quiet and easy to come and go from. There is an electric fireplace in the master bedroom which made the room so warm and cozy. The parking was perfect, right outside the door and we never had a problem getting a spot. Chandra’s communication was punctual and very helpful. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and it was so festive as she had a beautiful little Christmas tree with lights and ornaments and a wreath on the door; it made our Christmas feel more like home since we had to travel. The place was wonderful and highly recommend to other guests.

We love Church Hill, and Christine and Derk’s place was perfect for us for the weekend. They were very thoughtful, from having milk and creamer in the fridge, to leaving us a personalized welcome card that was incredibly sweet. Their home had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful space with lots of character, and in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Johnny's place for a month while I was relocating to Richmond, and it was exactly what I needed. It was a great location, especially since the commute to downtown was so easy. As an extended stay, he provided all of the amenities I needed and was very responsive whenever I needed anything. I highly recommend this place!

Matt’s place is very charming and it’s location next to the convention center was perfect for our visit since we were attending GalaxyCon. Matt is a great communicator and was proactive ahead of check-in and checkout so we didn’t really have a need to communicate with him much. I like that we were just able to do our thing and he made sure we had all of the information we needed. When I did have a question the day before check-in, he got back to me very quickly. The decor is super cute and the kitchen had really good amenities, including a Keurig coffee maker. There were even some pods and creamers in the room. We would stay in Matt’s place again, but be aware this is in a high traffic area and can be a bit loud with car noise. This can easily be solved with earplugs, but I wanted to give future renters a heads up so you can plan. We would definitely stay here again, even with the noise, because it was wonderful and charming.

This was one of my favorite trips to richmond, because I got to stay in such a rare location in the fan. it might be an english basement, but it managed to be ultra comfy! the guidebook that the host put together was very informative and truly accurate to richmond, I highly recommend looking at it when you're here!

It was a beautiful home and well worth the price. The apartment was spotless and quiet at night despite how close to the city it was. There are a ton of local restraunts and places open late that are close by. I felt very safe and at home, beautiful setup inside and would definetly recommend!
