The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

We had an amazing weekend in the pipowagen. Rustic farm vibes ♡, It was just what we needed to find some peace and quiet. Irma is so friendly, kind and thoughtful. From the welcome drink to the fairy lights and music in the hot tub, the cute decorations and the lovely glass house that we had breakfast in and caught some rays of sun. We saw beautiful birds from the window and were greeted by their sweet dog. We went on an outing to Den Helder (30min away) to the Navy museum and had a lovely fish dinner at Cafe Neptunus. On Sunday we visited the butterfly farm nearby. Lovely weekend, we will be back! Thank you!

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Het huisje van Marcel was perfect: schoon, compleet en van alle gemakken voorzien. Marcel is een geweldige gastheer, altijd bereikbaar en bereid om te helpen waar nodig. We hebben een zeer prettig verblijf gehad en komen graag nog eens terug!

我们团队一行6人，商务行后旅行经过一晚，1、房屋主人主动沟通确认到达时间，原计划8:30到，实际到达要9:30-10点了，提前1小时通知，房东非常有耐心； 2、房子里有树屋和秋千； 3、方便停车🅿️； 4、周围2.5KM有大海和海滩，沙滩上有贝壳🐚，很适合散步看海踩沙滩🏖️；

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Wir sind mit vier Erwachsene und einem Baby bei Dirkje untergekommen und hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Dirkje hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen und der Check-in verlief sehr unkompliziert. (Mit Baby war es uns nicht möglich zu sagen, wann genau wir eintreffen werden aber das war kein Problem.) Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und so aufgeteilt, dass jeder seinen eigenen Bereich haben konnte und wir uns für die gemeinsame Zeit in Ess- und Wohnzimmer getroffen haben. Das war perfekt! Genau so, wie es beschrieben war. Besonders begeistert hat uns, dass wir uns direkt vor der Haustür bei den örtlichen Bauern mit Milch, Käse und Kartoffeln versorgen konnten und uns auch das Obst aus Dirkjes Garten frei zur Verfügung stand.

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

Ich habe mit meiner Hündin ein paar schöne Tage bei Siennie in der Unterkunft verbracht. Der Check-IN und Check-Out verlief unkompliziert, es steht ein Parkplatz direkt am Haus zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es gab alles was man braucht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Restaurants befinden sich in fußläufiger Nähe. Das Highlight war aber natürlich der zu Fuß zu erreichende Strand. Leider erfährt man erst vor Ort, dass Hunde weder auf das Sofa, noch mit ins Bett dürfen. Es wäre schön gewesen, diese Information bereits vor der Buchung zu bekommen. Abgesehen davon war aber alles andere perfekt, und ich habe mich in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt.

Our stay with Mike & Patries will be forever memorable. They were both so kind and helpful, providing many local recommendations. Lovely people! The house is so beautifully decorated, cozy and warm. My children adored the animals on the farm including the horses, dogs, and chickens! We loved the area because really you can rent bikes and ride to many of the nearby towns. Our week here was just perfect and we can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely stay in Zaanse Schans at Tine's place. It was easy to find with her helpful instructions and even though not all the bikes worked right away, Tine fixed them all right then and there! Despite us not realizing check out was at 11am, she was super understanding when we left around 11:45am after one last bike ride to the windmills, which are 5 minutes away. Beautiful place, wonderful amenities and appliances, and comfortable beds!

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

Wir hatten wieder einen super entspannten Aufenthalt bei Annette und fühlten uns wie Zuhause. Unsere Tochter (2 Jahre) hat sich auch wieder sehr wohl gefühlt und die etwas steilere Treppe stellt für uns mit etwas Augenmerk keinerlei Problem dar. Annette ist eine fantastische Gastgeberin und wohnt direkt nebenan, sodass bei Fragen immer schnell geholfen werden kann. Wir kommen noch dieses Jahr wieder 😍

Logement de campagne avec son charme et avec séjour spacieux, emplacement de campagne, mais autoroute accessible très rapidement pour se rendre à Amsterdam située à 25-30 minutes. Place de parking prévue à l intérieur de la cour. Très bon accueil, horaires d arrivée flexibles et réponse rapide de l'hôte par message. A conseiller sans hésitation.

Super Gastgeber, Netter Ansprechpartner, viele Materialien zu Verfügung, Shampoo, und Cafepads und Strandspielzeug. Super für Kinder, außer an der Treppe muss man etwas aufpassen. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Alles in der Nähe zu Fuß erreichbar. Ob einkaufen, Strand oder Dünen. Was will man mehr. Vielen Vielen Dank für unseren Kurzurlaubstrip bei euch. 🙂

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

Wat een fantastische plek. Grote kans dat we nog eens terugkomen!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Wendela sehr genossen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Das „Rosenhäuschen“ war genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Es war unser „ Home away from home“. Und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Superb stay very close to the Amsterdam city center. Very spacious, high quality and convenient. In particular we enjoyed the fire place (which was pre-arranged for us before our arrival), the fully equipped kitchen and of course the two very friendly cats.

Ich habe mich in dem schön hergerichteten Wagen sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch weil es mal etwas anders war. Die Begrüßung durch Jose‘ war sehr freundlich. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Een heerlijk weekend gehad in deze ruime woning. Alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Ook genoten van de infrarood sauna.

Wir hatten das große Glück spontan von Freitag bis Sonntag bei Evelin wohnen zu dürfen. Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Am schönsten fanden die Kinder den täglichen Blick in den Kuhstall. Trotz des Kuhstalls hat es nicht gerochen in der Wohnung. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und man kann wunderbar Land und Leute kennenlernen.

Our stay met our expectations. We own a sailboat and are aware of the space restrictions involved. We enjoy different experiences and this fit the bill. Steven is very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We took advantage of the tugboat tour Steven offers to his guests and this was a more intimate experience than we would otherwise have had on a canal trip in Amsterdam. Steven gave us the opportunity to experience bitter ballen and Skipper bitters at an old Dutch pub. For those who are adventurous and able bodied, this is a stay to put on the list!!

Super schöne Unterkunft, ruhig und idyllisch, mit dem Bus kommt man nach Amsterdam, aber nur bis 24 Uhr . Die Gastgeber sehr sehr nett, viele Tipps gegeben, sogar Frühstück einmal spendiert
