Our family group of 7 adults and 6 children met here for Christmas holiday for five days from four different cities. We had a great time and enjoyed all the space we had to spread out. Two of the bedrooms were accessed by going out the front door and down a few steps that looped around to the space under the house. From the looks of the neighborhood, most of the houses are set up like this. The basement space was amazingly comfortable—no dampness like you would expect in a basement. It felt very cozy there, and we had an additional heater, just in case. We had a little issue at the beginning, which David addressed, namely that we had expected to do most of our cooking there and we needed more silverware. He sent some over and all was well. The house was amazingly clean—better than any other Airbnb we have ever rented.

This home was perfect for 6 people. It was a beautiful home, super comfy beds & the decorations of the house were interesting! We always found a place to park on the street & was about a 20 min drive to get to all of our locations.

This is a great place for a large family. With two bedrooms on both the second and third floors, there’s plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk to the Wharf with great restaurant options, and only a few blocks from the Waterfront station and Safeway in the other direction. We loved how easy it was to explore all the sights in DC from here.

We cannot say enough good about Adam's place! Things we specifically appreciated: house was spotless, bathrooms were exceptionally clean, everything was well-stocked (linens, kitchen, toiletries) and location was excellent for shopping, eating and sightseeing. Adam was very responsive and great at communicating. We felt right at home and very comfortable during our stay! This home is beautiful!

We had an excellent stay. The location was very convenient and it worked perfect for our larger group. Tahmeed was very response.

Aivets place was beautiful, spacious, and had a very open main living room. perfect for socializing. the place was very clean and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies. Aivet was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay!! a very wonderful host. The neighborhood is a bit far from downtown DC, and the walk to the closest metro can be far for those who have trouble walking far distances. But the house is fantastic and I would 100% stay here again :)

This place was perfect for us: two families (4 adults, 5 kids) meeting in DC (one family by car, the other by plane) with plans for a mix of seeing the classic DC sites and hanging with local friends. The place was clean, had tons of space, and was close to great restaurants for both takeout and and dining out. There was enough kitchenware that the 8-year-old was able to make blondie muffins without a hitch and the only item that wasn’t working (the Keurig) was replaced within 12 hours. Great communication with the hosts. Would come again! Thank you!

Alberta and Jorge’s beautiful home was the best air bnb experience we have ever had, and we have stayed in many places around the world. The home is on a quiet street adjacent to rock creek park in the most serene of surroundings. The home itself was incredibly comfortable and well designed. The kitchen was outfitted with every possible kitchen gadget and appliance - a really extra special treat for folks who like to cook, not to mention tons of spices and sauces that saved us the hassle of having to buy lots of extra things. There’s no shortage of supplies which was also a nice touch and made us feel much more welcome. Our family (two adults and three kids) was extremely comfortable there and the kids loved playing in the snow and the yard. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Parking is a breeze on the quiet street and it’s an easy drive to anywhere in the city. Public transit via bus is also very convenient as 16th street is a short walk away with access to the bus lines. A true gem

Michael’s place was perfect hub for our trip to DC with 3 generations - kids, parents, & grandparents. The house was beautiful, and looked just like the pictures. The roof top patio was an added bonus when we had nice evenings. It’s a short walk to the metro & shops. Michael was super responsive to any questions during our stay.

We had a great stay at Kate’s beautiful home. The location was central with plenty of restaurants close by. We enjoyed the large property which is hard to come by in the DC area. Parking was easy and the hosts were incredible with communication and provided lots of great recommendations.
