We had a great stay at Sam's place. It looks like Sam recently renovated his place and it had plenty of space to accommodate not only my wife and I but also her parents. The fenced in area worked perfectly for our dogs and also provided a great deal of privacy. You were also very close to all the downtown Washington D.C. attractions making Uber rides very cheap and convenient. Sam is a great host and very responsive to any questions you ask. All in all it was a great experience and I would highly recommend staying at Sam's place in Washington D.C. Thank you Sam!

We had the best stay. Maggie and Scott were very communicative and friendly — even helping us acquire a parking pass which allowed us to park on the streets near the house. The house is charming with skylights and an awesome back patio. Our dog loved sitting in the sun out back and also enjoyed meeting other dogs on walks around the neighborhood and in Stanton Park just to the north. We adored that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom. The location is stellar for anyone who wants to be in the adorable Capitol Hill neighborhood and easily walk to The Mall, Eastern Market, and Navy Yard. We look forward to staying again!

This place was great for the two of us. We visited D.C. and this home was perfect. I liked how it was below the house. It made us feel safe while being there. We barely heard them upstairs. Anytime we reached out to Shandell, she responded very fast. I would stay here again!

Everything was fantastic! The house was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and had everything needed! The host was helpful, responsive, and hospitable. Special touches such as umbrellas and board games provided by the host really set this place apart! Walking distance to Union Station and Capitol Hill made this extremely convenient for our group of 5 adults. A quick walk to restaurants and grocery store. We will certainly seek this one out for future trips!

We booked this listing for two couples and it was the perfect amount of space. We did some activities in DC and were about 20-30 minutes from everything depending on traffic so the location wasn't too bad. The Airbnb is also near plenty of places to eat, Walmart and Wawa. The place was clean with nice bathrooms. The water pressure in our bathroom could have been better but it sufficed. The beds were comfortable and our bathroom had a bidet which we loved. There was parking for a car on the back but we ended up parking on the street since there was usually street parking available and the gate to the back was a little difficult to open and close. The heat works awesome but our bedroom would get hot at night but there was a fan available for use so that helped. We felt comfortable in the neighborhood and had no issues. I would definitely stay again.

This place was great! Omid was helpful and responsive and the location is unbeatable! The place is not overly spacious, but there is plenty of space for two people short term! It is clean and well maintained, and having a parking space in DC is so convenient! While I did not have any trouble finding the place, it is tucked back in an alley, but Omid provided clear instructions for how to find it! Would absolutely stay here again!

Just finished a weeklong stay at Jonathan's place. As soon as we walked in, we felt right at home. The place was clean, orderly, and well decorated (loved all the dance artwork, especially since my wife used to be a dance teacher). There was plenty of room for six of us (grandparents, Mom, Dad, and two kids) and the beds were comfortable. The house was nicely stocked with plenty of coffee and tea options. It was nice to have a deck to sit outside on and enjoy the local atmosphere and watch all the dogs playing in the park. It is a great location with quick walking access to the Shaw-Howard metro station, which we walked to almost every day we were there, and several local restaurants and small grocery/convenience stores within a few blocks walk. While sirens are heard quite frequently, this appears to be due to the nearby Howard University hospital traffic. There was never a time that I felt unsafe in the neighborhood, even when walking with my 11 and 13 year old children.

Perfect home away from home for our family of 4 + pup! Had everything we needed to be comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet, which was great since our dog is not used to city noises or traffic. It did require ride share or driving to get most places, but we didn’t mind. Convenience store around the corner came in handy, great sandwiches at Jettie’s as recommended, and a clean and spacious park for kids and dogs all within a few blocks. Would stay here again!

Great space in a great area

Nice building that has many amenities and is very close to train station. We enjoyed the week visiting all of the sites DC has to offer.

Paola’s home is a special find. It is tastefully designed and well-appointed with interesting art and furnishings. The large living room worked well for my daughter’s bridal shower. It is located in a super quiet and safe feeling section of NW near Silver Spring. I highly recommend Paola’s house.

The place was great for business or pleasure travel. Plenty of space, and very clean. Location was ideal as well, a couple blocks from a metro station. Would highly recommend.

This place was great and Randall was responsive and very helpful. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen and living spaces were great. Location was only blocks away from the metro, ballpark, and several restaurants and grocery stores which was certainly another plus. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had the best time at the District Jungle. Extremely clean and everything in perfect order. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Top quality cotton linens. Our hosts were friendly and responsive and allowed us flexibility with check in and out times. I loved our stay in this friendly neighborhood. I would love to come back one day. It's a super convenient location. Easy to get to Union Station and from there wherever you want to go. The neighborhood is also very safe. Excellent value for money and better even than the pictures. You won't regret booking this place. It was perfect for our week in DC and lovely hosts. Thanks so much !

Jillian’s apartment was just what I needed for a quick stay in DC. The place was clean and had everything I needed. I didn’t do any cooking there but there was a nice coffee maker. Bed was comfortable and so was the TV room with a good couch. It is a basement apartment so there isn’t much in the way of windows or natural light, but I didn’t spend any time in the day there. Also keep in mind it is a solid 15-minute walk to the metro, so I ended up mostly getting an Uber to downtown (which was easy). Overall, a great spot for a short visit to DC!

Dawn’s place was as described, very comfortable and easy to find. Great food options within walking distance. We can’t wait to be back to this amazing English basement.

Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Exactly as described and had everything I needed when I was in between moving homes. Derek and Matt were awesome hosts, and took care of anything I needed quickly. The free parking and metro access was so convenient. I had a wonderful stay, highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s during my three days in DC. The apartment was in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and easy to find. Check-in was smooth and flexible, as Elizabeth allowed me to get in a few hours early as my flight had been moved. Everything was clean and comfortable, and more than enough space for me as a solo traveler to enjoy.

We stayed for a family trip of five days. Elliot’s place was a perfect launching and landing pad just blocks from a metro stop and walkable to the mall. The kitchen was one of the best appointed kitchens of the places I’ve stayed and everything was very clean.

Great location and place to stay in DC. A rather spacious basement apartment unit in a multi family dwelling. Easy access to Columbia heights metro station. Price was fair and there were no issues. Super responsive when booking and even allowed early check in, which I appreciated. Would stay here again without hesitation.
