Lauren's apartment was very beautiful and cozy and just right for two people. she also provided very clear instructions regarding the check in process which made it a breeze. Her apartment was also one of the very few apartments with its own dedicated parking garage which was a major plus, given the scarcity of parking all around the area. Overall, we had a great stay at her place and she made us feel welcomed and right at home.

Fantastic Spring Break trip with our family. The space was clean and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The location was amazing! Easy walk to the Metro and many shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay for a D.C. trip. We walked to the Metro each morning and took that downtown. It was about a 15 minute walk and is great if you’re fine with that. It’s tucked away nicely and feels like a safe area too. Overall a great stay.

This was a nice space for us to crash at while exploring DC! They were able to accommodate an early check in for us which was nice. Bus transportation is right outside and provides access to almost everything. There is a Walmart within walking distance (10min) along with a few other food & store options. The space was comfortable but I do feel it could use minor maintenance and cosmetic upkeep. Additionally, while it didn’t bother us, there was obvious noise coming from above as we are in a basement. We sleep with sound noise so it didn’t bother us much but if you are a light sleeper in the slightest tread lightly. Lastly, I would like to mention that the hot water in this space is immaculate and was the perfect end to a long day. Overall, this was a great resting spot after a long day of walking between monuments and museums. Thanks for a great stay!

Autumn's place is really lovely. It looks like the pictures and is very comfortable. What I liked most though, was that it has a security alarm. That made me feel safe. I would highly recommend this place and I hope to stay here again.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt bei Melissa. Wir fanden direkt vor dem Haus einen Parkplatz (Genehmigung wurde uns zur Verfügung gestellt). Einfacher Check-in mit Zahlenschloss. Es gibt sogar Wasser, Kaffee und Snacks. Einmal hörten wir Abends einen Hund bellen, aber das steht in der Beschreibung und war nicht weiter schlimm. Die zusätzlichen Heizstrahler waren auch super, da wir gerade einen Kälteeinbruch hatten, als wir in Washington waren. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft weiter.

Our stay was excellent! Everything is new and updated. The property is very clean and comfortable. High quality towels and amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Kam’s place is exactly as advertised. It’s hard to know what you are getting the first time you book a space. A lot of times the pics look great, but once you get there the “feel” of the place is off, or the sights sounds and smells of it are disorienting compared to the pics and description. Well, NOT THIS PLACE! It’s clean! It has that fantastic neutral feel and cleanliness like no one’s been there before you. It’s well conditioned and not dank or tired, especially since it’s over 150 years old! The place is solid and comfortable. The full kitchen was great and had basic items to cook and prep with. We are a family of four with teenage kids and loved the flow with kitchen in rear with hall leading forward to bathroom and guest room then living room and the master bed is in front with two windows looking out on garden and street. We took the eastern market metro everywhere and it was a 5 minute walk for us. This was an awesome OG Airbnb experience with a host that clearly cares a lot!

This is a garden apartment in Brookland, an up and coming area of DC. We were very happy to find someplace a few blocks from our relatives, since there really are no hotels anywhere nearby. Street parking was easy. The main living area does not have any windows, but has recessed lighting, light walls and a white kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and we ate breakfast there each morning. There is a closet with upscale washer and dryer. The bathroom is pretty small, but the shower is nice. Plenty of fluffy towels were supplied. The primary bedroom has a comfy, king sized bed, plenty of closet space and two windows. It also has nightstands and lamps on both sides of the bed (some places don't, which is really not acceptable). The second bedroom has a bed, trundle, window and exterior door to the back patio. We didn't know how to use the HVAC system and contacted the owners, who were very responsive. The system worked well, very quiet. We will rent here again.

Unit was easy to find and very clean. Hosts were friendly and communicated well.

I had an incredible stay at Serena’s Airbnb studio! The location is perfect—situated near American University, with easy access to everything you need. The studio itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable living room area and a fully equipped kitchen that made my stay feel like home. Serena went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfectly prepared, and she continuously checked in to make sure I was comfortable. Her attention to detail and hospitality made all the difference. Another huge plus is the parking, which made getting around stress-free. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located, and well-managed place to stay, this is it. I would absolutely stay here again!

We love Nolon's place and have stayed here multiple times. It has become our "go-to" spot in DC. My stay this time was--as always--terrific and I look forward to being back again. The apartment is incredibly convenient for activities on Capitol Hill and the neighborhood is beautiful. Nolon is a really helpful and responsive host.

We loved staying at Michael’s place! He left us complete instructions for how to check-in on our own time with no fuss. The location was exceptional - one block from the Shaw-Howard U station on the Green line, and easy walking to the bustling U Street corridor.

Had a wonderful stay at this home! The bathroom was spacious and living area super comfortable. I really appreciated having access to a washer and dryer, which made everything so much easier. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze, and the location was perfect—convenient to everything. Highly recommend!

Graham was very responsive to queries and requests (e.g. operating heating and the TV). If we needed something, he provided it (including restaurant recommendations). The place was comfortable, a good way to stay in our very expensive Nation's Capital. A good neighborhood, close to several restaurants and good grocery shopping (plus a crackerjack bookstore).

David was responsive and able to help me with the Internet. I love the place definitely will book it again

Phillip's place was super clean, nice and great for a short weekend with our pup. Only 10-15 mins drive into downtown/monuments and easy self check-in. We only have two notes for guests: for travelers that are international or solo - neighborhood isn't fantastic and I wouldn't recommend walking alone at night. And secondly, the mattress was pretty hard for us to sleep on comfortably, so if you need a less firm mattress, plan accordingly! Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and recommend.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our trip! The unit was comfortable and immaculate. It did not feel like a basement at all. Leonardo was very kind and responsive. We did not read the instructions thoroughly beforehand and therefore did not notify him in advance that we wanted to use the Murphy bed, yet he was gracious in still allowing us to do so. We had our 2 month old son with us, and Leonardo thought of everything — he had a crib, changing pad, toys, and even baby shampoo ready for us. He even gave us excellent recommendations for meals. Leonardo is thoughtful and thorough and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable in the unit. The property is beautifully maintained and he is clearly invested in helping his guests fully enjoy their stay. I cannot say enough good things about Leonardo and this unit! We would absolutely stay here again.

The host was amazing! He was super responsive and helpful with the one issue we did have… his place did look as pictured, just smaller than anticipated. The bathroom is very small. Would be tight for more than 2 people. However the one thing to note is that as someone who has never been to DC before the area was not the best and we were not the most comfortable with the public transportation. We picked this Air B&B based on positive reviews of the space, our only advice is be mindful of the area and public transportation.
