We absolutely enjoyed our stay while working to restore power to Steinhatchee and Keaton Beach after Hurrican Helene. This would be a great place to come back on vacation and enjoy the town!

This is a true RIVER house. the location was breath taking. Our family of 6 reunion had a great time cooking the scallops we plucked up earlier that day on our boati.g excursion! Also ate out twice at local seafood restaurants. All very charming. This home seems to be also used by the owners folks when not rented out and therefore it felt like visiting a family's home who were gracious hosts. A fine match for our family. we'll stocked for all needs. We hope to return to kyack next time when not scalloping season. Thank you Jolene for your responsiveness to all things.

Very well done refurbishing on the inside. So nice! We especially loved the huge Florida room with the wet bar/kitchen area! Comfortable seating, huge tv and just so peaceful. The neighbor was also friendly. We had a great time on a short trip on the inlet of the river using the canoe and kayak that were supplied. We also utilized the fire pit. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to go back again!

Despite the weather not being on our side, my family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The view was amazing. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The home felt like home away from home. Definitely 10/10 recommend staying.

Great place to stay. Plenty od space to spread out our group and great spaces to gather and enjoy each others company. Safe and secure from check-in to check-out. Very clean and quiet. Didnt hear the other guests or neighbors after we went to bed. There are PLENTY of creature comforts to make tge stay enjoyable. Dual thermostats, one upstairs for the living space and one downstairs for the bedrooms. As the community continues to recover from a bad hurricane, this will only get better and better as a place to enjoy a week or more. THANKS SO MUCH to the great host for providing such a wonderful vacation spot.

It was a lovely cozy cottage with beautiful nature and animals all around. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating and insanely sweet. The complementary hay ride was wholesome fun! I loved getting to pet the pigs and the newly adopted goats and cant wait to see how the goat play area turns out. I'm super greatful that they were able to accommodate our last minute request for the ride. The binder of restaurant recommendations and plethora of board games to choose from was an insanely thoughtful touch. Overall amazing place to stay, definitely will be coming again!

Beautiful home, with great back porch for viewing the canal to the Suwannee River. It was a great landing place for exploring all the various Springs and State parks in the area. The springs were beautiful this time of year and had manatees, alligators, jumping fish. There is a decent 32 mile bike trail that follows the old railroad. We couldn't find bikes to rent, so we purchased a couple from Walmart and then donated them to a church in the area to find a new home for them. We weren't there for fishing, but it would be a great spot to land a boat and head out to the river which is only 3-4 houses down the canal. There is an awesome bar & grill on the water on the river which you can walk to. Highway is close by for easy access to town, grocery stores, etc. Thanks so much for a lovely stay in your home. Perfect spot for the location 20 minutes from anything we wanted to do.

Wow! Felt like being at a friend’s house. So well maintained, decorated nicely, with quality furnishings, linens, bedding, and kitchen supplies. Beautiful surroundings walking the neighborhood, using the hot tub, and sitting in the Adirondacks down by the water in the mornings with a cup of coffee. It was the perfect spot for relaxing ladies weekend.

Stayed for work. Very nice cozy cottage, was great place to make home away from home at the end of the day.

John was very helpful. Gave a tour of the place when we arrived and had plenty of recommendations for surrounding areas. Laid back vacation with everything you need to relax. Cabin was comfortable but if you’re looking for luxury this might not be for you. Vibe is more like 90’s river house. We had a great time!

The stay was very nice and relaxing. The bed is so comfortable. It is a studio with bedroom dining area and living area in one. There's a relaxing spa tub with bubble bath, bath bombs and salts ext. There are supplies in case anything was forgotten. The surrounding areas are still recovering from the hurricane from last fall so hours and details for restaurants and stores may not be accurate on the websites. There are plenty of places to eat though. The pool is not heated just fyi but we were able to have it all to ourselves so that was really nice. There is a tennis court nearby and tennis supplies in the closet. There is also a basketball court, ping pong table, badminton court, and axe throwing area if you want to bring supplies to use those. This is a great place to stay and just relax. If you want more activities outside of the property then you may have to drive a little ways.

We had great end of the year stay at Kathleen's river house. Getting out of the hustle and bustle of city life into a quiet neighborhood was worth the drive. In the immediate area we were able to observe wild deer, armadillos, turkey and boars. At night you can hear owls hooing in the distance along with the crickets. The river was calming to watch and fun to try our luck at fishing. Kayaking upstream was a great workout to then let the river effortlessly carry us back to the dock. The nearby springs and parks added to the serenity and calm of the experience with a chance to swim with manatees at fanning spring. The small towns of Bell and Bradford are quaint, quiet and easy to get to and not having to experience bumper to bumper traffic was relieving as well. The house had all of the amenities we could ask for and was clean and comfy. We give it 2 thumbs up and would glady stay again!
