My family enjoyed the 4th of July weekend at Mary's house on Beaver Dam Lake. The house has plenty of space and the back yard has beautiful views of the lake and you can watch the jet ski performers who are just on the other side of the bay. The grassy area has plenty of space for yard games. We rented the pontoon boat and really enjoyed boating around the large lake with multiple islands. This is an older home with some beautiful feathers but some minor quirks. However, Mary has made several updates and appears she is continuing to update the Airbnb. There are a few things from the listing and pictures that were tough to tell - the stairs and bathroom have low ceiling/door clearance, myself and my brothers are 6'2" to 6''5" and frequently hit our heads in a few places (anyone over 6' will have to remember to duck in several spots, including the kitchen fan). There is not a regular size dishwasher in the kitchen, which should be considered depending on the size of your party renting this 5 bedroom house. There are air conditioners in 3 of the bedrooms and in the living room.

We hosted our annual family Christmas here. Plenty of space for all to sleep comfortably. In addition, there were pull out bed options for flexible sleeping arrangement and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. A fully stocked kitchen supplied more than enough for us to prepare and clean up meals in house to avoid having to schlep personal kitchenware or go out to eat. Also, a large eat-in kitchen offered us the ability to enjoy our meals together and all could wrap around the table for snacks and board games.

A wonderful cottage with a great location on the lake. The Shores restaurant next to it was very good and great attention given to ambience, food and drink. The cottage met all of our needs and very cozy.

Lovely cabin, pretty lawn, flowers, walk to the dock and view Fox Lake WIs. Everything was just perfect, dishes, towels, pots, pans, cups, everything!! Coffeemaker was Kurig with pods and a coffee ground one (that we like). We brought an electric grill for burgers and chops; as I knew we would be too busy to use the charcoal grill. The beds were fine, furniture comfortable and clean, dressers and places to hang things. lots of room in the kitchen with a table for two and bar area to eat at. The deck was pretty with a table and 4 chairs (bring cushions if you can. Quiet and serene was our stay., There are two restaurants close by, and The Clam Shack too for fun things and quick drink. We stayed and went to the Air Show, just 45 country miles away. We will be back. For families, couples, girls getaway, Cottage #3 was wonderful

This is a beautiful house in beautiful surroundings in a family neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and looking out over the lake (including the little island where my brothers and I once winter-camped with our dogs). The yard and garden are very nicely landscaped, and there are many places to sit and chat, both inside and outside. We were in Beaver Dam for a family reunion, and this was a wonderful place to have our evening meals. The kitchen is well-equipped. (Unlike other short-term rental places, the refrigerator and cupboards have no foodstuffs, so bring what you need for at least your first night and morning. Kwik-Trip is sort of nearby, and had many of the things we had forgotten.) Be aware that although you will be provided with some paper towels and TP, you will be purchasing what you need if those run out. Also, be mentally ready to be out by 10 am on your leaving day, having washed and put away any dishes. All in all, it was wonderful.

The cabin was very cute and the perfect size. Furniture was very comfortable and the view was beautiful. Would totally recommend!

Cozy, fresh, and clean in a seaside oasis.

We had a very nice stay at this lake house with a larger group. There was plenty of room for everyone, inside and out. The large porch was great, as well as use of a gas griddle outside for cooking meals. The house is very whimsicaly decorated, albeit a bit cluttered. The house was clean, but can have a musty smell due to the moisture of being by the lake. If you have a larger group, keep in mind there is only one bathroom. We visited during a very rainy year, so the yard was quite sloppy and parts were under water. So if you plan to use the yard or frequently walk out to the dock, you'll want waterproof shoes. The lake is also shallow and warm, and it was quite green. There were kayaks to use which was a great feature, but the water is not appropriate for swimming if that's something you're planning to do. The house is also pretty close to neighbors, as most lake properties are. Overall this was a great lake house with lots of room and amenities.

My group really enjoyed our stay at Kathy’s place! She was super flexible with accommodating our needs and hospitable. We would definitely stay again!

Honestly I don’t know where to begin! So we will start with host, nothing but good things to say about Jakie. She is extremely easy to talk to and I loved how laid back she was. In addition, she went above and beyond for my now husband and I. To start we got there after dark and she was kind enough to turn the lights on so everything was easy to find. We were surprised with roses, balloons and snacks for wedding weekend! Now to the cabin, everything was extremely clean and beautiful. During the day the whole cabin fills with sun light. Driveway, we are fishermen and one of the most important things to know is how big the driveway is. We were able to fit 2 trucks and trailers, 2 trucks and a car. Access to lake, there are stairs to get down to the lake that leads to a doc. Not quite ideal for ice fishing unless you bring a step to fill the gap where the doc typically is. Like I said in the beginning all good things to say, everything was perfect.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful home in wonderfully relaxing setting. Great for a getaway from it all and very fun to have kayaks, pedal boat and paddle boards. Jenna is so responsive and caring that she beat the amount of time I’ve ever waited when calling for something from a front desk at a hotel! Fantastic host!

It was a wonderful experience. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Comfortable beds, super clean, beautiful view. Cannot wait to visit again!

The home was extremely clean and organized with everything in its right place. Overall a great stay!

John and Sue were sooo sweet!! She made us a giant tub of delicious granola which our family devoured with our fruit and yogurt. He gave us a tour of the cabin and where to find things. We had our family's children for lunch and they LOVED the game room! The cabin is BEAUTIFULLY decorated and I loved the cabin theme throughout the entire house, including the bathroom. In addition to all of that, my family LOVED the peace of the cabin both inside and out.

Was very clean and comfy! She was also very friendly and communicates well.Will definitely be back again when I’m in town.

Jenny and Ben's "Cabin on the Trail" was absolutely perfect. My wife and I wanted a quick weekend getaway for our anniversary and this place couldn't have been any better. Pure relaxation and peace. Great local bar/restaurants and beautiful scenery. Just what we were looking for. Jenny and Ben were also very kind and hospitable. We plan on coming back when it's warmer!
