This was an absolute favorite for all 3 of us, natives to different countries, well-travelled, etc. We were in awe of the attention to detail, creative touches, comfy coziness, beauty of the surrounds, extensive local/extra local info—but most of all, the warmth and kindness of our hosts. We cannot recommend this beautiful home highly enough, and would travel vast distances and time zones for another superb stay here. If you are in the kind, thoughtful appreciation group, no doubt you’ll love it like we did. Heaps of gratitude to our lovely hosts!

This place is stunning! Very much loved our stay! Had a small issue with the hot water but the host was extremely responsive and fixed it with in the hour. Would stay again!

We had a lovely two night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The place was beautiful with a lovely deck to sit on and listen to the ocean below. The place was very spacious and clean. They have a folder with all the local maps and food places. It was a great location to get to Wineglass bay but still return to a peaceful setting. Their courtyard and garden is so wonderful. The best part of this rental is John and Pamela! We wish we could have had time to sit with them and visit longer. They are lovely and happy to answer all questions. We also loved meeting Alfie who was visiting. Thanks so much John and Pamela.

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

We were thrilled with the location and sun-drenched interior of Susan's property with its fantastic view. We could see seals on one of the rocky outcrops (even without the use of the home's telescope!) We were within walking distance of the Whaler's lookout, the Blowhole, the Lobster Shack, and the Glass Bottom boat ecotour--all activities we pursued as well as walking the along coastline trail, something we did several times during our 4-day stay. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinners the nights we didn't hit the Lobster Shack! Highly recommend this comfortable home. Only one caveat: the living space is accessed by stairs from the driveway and they are unbarricaded from the hallway at the top—across from the bathroom. I was initially concerned that this could pose a safety hazard at night, but it didn't present any problems. The outside lighting helped to illuminate the stairway and it was ultimately a non-issue.

The apartment was very clean and the view is so beautiful! If we are coming back to TAS one day, we will definatly go there again!

We had an enjoyable stay. There are lots of cafes and a supermarket walking distance. The house is located in a quiet cul de sac with a view of the ocean and walking distance to two beaches.

Lovley Airbnb, super clean and is exactly like the pictures and as described. Great location to drive to places in Tasmania. Very private and great view. Easy walk into Swansea town and down to the beach. Would highly recommend staying here

A unique experience , Scott’s place is a wonderful peaceful getaway , surrounded by trees within a very short stroll to the beach . The floor to ceiling windows really make you feel like your emersed in the natural environment . The contemporary design , well stocked kitchen and facilities in general make for a very comfortable stay . The fabulous beach and easy reach of the Freycinet peninsula make this an ideal place to explore Tasmania’s incredible east coast . Watch the sunrise over the freycinet peaks then go for a morning dip , it doesn’t get much better .
