Lawrenson is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! So kind and generous! Always willing to share with you all the different produce growing on his property. Bananas, plantains, papayas, guavas, breadfruit, ginger, turmeric, coconuts, tania, limes, sugarcane etc! Listening to the crashing waves of the Atlantic are soothing and peaceful. The pleasant sea breeze is a blessing! There is plenty of room in the house. The kitchen is very well stocked with high quality stainless steel pots and pans. Make sure to bring the groceries you’ll need for your stay. Like Lawrenson says, the beauty of Dominica is in its simplicity! Good Hope is a beautiful quiet village. You’ll definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle which you should have in Dominica anyway! We visited Emerald Pool, Spanny Falls, Jacko Falls, Jacko Flats, Salton Falls which are all within 30 minutes. There is a gas station in the neighbouring village of San Sauveur. We truly enjoyed our 18 days in this mini paradise!

We really enjoyed Cornell's home. It felt like our own slice of paradise. The view is amazing. The house was a bit hard to find, but we managed, would not want to try and find it in the dark. The area has some nice restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying at Cornell's.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Doriana. Le logement était super propre, les lits sont confortables, la vue est splendide, la cuisine est fonctionnelle. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Good place to stay in Soufriere. The house has everything you need. kitchen had all appliances, pots, pans, blender, etc. Comfortable couch, nice porch chairs, etc. wifi is good, A/C is good. It's great. Key things to know about Soufriere (as of fall 2023) Bus to Roseau is 4.5ec/person each way. To get back you go to the stop in Roseau, get in, and when the vans fill up it leaves. No real schedule but it works great. Short walk from the bus to restaurants and grocery stores. There is a bar directly across the street and they also sell a few dry goods and eggs. Owner is super nice. Power is not reliable the utility does not give accurate info. Locals all said it was very unusual and I believe that, but it is something you need to be aware of and plan accordingly. This may be resolved in the future but in aug-sep 2023, hours long blackouts occurred almost daily. Often taking down cell data too.

Un immense merci à Andy, notre hôte, qui est devenu bien plus qu’un simple hôte pendant notre séjour ! Il nous a aidés à chaque étape, ce qui a vraiment rendu notre séjour beaucoup plus agréable. L’arrivée et le départ étaient flexibles, ce qui nous a permis de nous organiser sereinement. Le logement était parfaitement conforme aux photos et aux descriptions, et l'emplacement était idéal, avec de quoi manger et faire des courses à proximité et le centre-ville facilement accessible. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit et encore merci à Andy pour son accueil et son soutien tout au long de notre séjour !

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The home is beautifully decorated, very spacious, and spotlessly clean. It truly felt like a home away from home, with modern amenities, plenty of towels and extra sheets, and the convenience of a washer and dryer. The veranda was a highlight, offering the most incredible view I’ve ever had in an Airbnb. While the property is on a hill, driving makes it no issue at all. The host was extremely friendly and responsive, always quick to assist. I’m very grateful for their hospitality and would absolutely stay here again! If you’re looking for a beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped Airbnb with an unforgettable view, I highly recommend this place. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a really nice stay in this tropical cabin. Heed the description that notes a rough access road and no hot water. Our host helped connect us with a guide at Indian River for a really nice wetlands tour. I wish we had more time to spend on the deck and in a hammock!

Le logement est bcp plus spacieux que sur la photo, ce qui rend l’intérieur vraiment très agréable! La vue depuis le balcon est très jolie. L’emplacement est parfait pour rayonner sur les différentes randos du morne 3 pitons et pour se balader à roseau. La piscine est grande et agréable avec une grande terrasse. Bref logement très agréable et Tina et Harry ont été très gentils avec nous et très arrangeants

Our family had an incredible stay at Johnathan’s beautiful place! There’s so many stunning design touches and the indoor and outdoor spaces are an oasis of calm. The kids of course loved the pool and comfy sofas and chairs, and we all loved the different shaded and sunny spots to lounge in, surrounded by lush flowers and greenery and with powerful fans or AC to keep us cool. We were greeted with a lovely welcome note and so many local treats and goodies! The location is perfect, with easy access to all the waterfall and other sights near Roseau. Gilly welcomed us warmly and went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing one. We highly recommend this beautiful space!

You feel relaxed here the moment you arrive. It's very refreshing to be in the green surroundings and have nature all around. Great location to do trips to explore all corners of the island.

Our stay at Hilroy’s place was a truly unique and enjoyable experience. The listing is exactly as described—it’s a one-of-a-kind retreat that allows you to fully disconnect from the outside world in a peaceful, secluded setting. Despite its remote location, it’s still just a 25-minute drive from the capital, offering the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. Hilroy was a great host—very responsive and accommodating, even when we encountered some travel delays. While the drive up is a bit challenging at first and requires a 10-15 minute walk on the trail to reach the property, this only added to the adventure for us. We found the entire experience thoroughly rewarding.

Flat has a great sea view and is peaceful at night. Area has very friendly locals who are always helpful and friendly.

I have phobias and everything was to my liking. Felt at home, bed was very nice and entire apartment was clean. Was greeted by Michaela and she provided a tour and information and access to the apartment. Tried the Jamaican jerk spot across the street and it was nice. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone.

Trafalgar cottage is a nice spot with accessibility to the daylight bus to town and the drive is relatively short. The hosts were very helpful in finding places and figuring out solutions to any problem I had. The neighbors are very kind and willing to help out. Maria (neighbor) is sweet and kind.

Great place to stay on the southern part of the island. It's a short drive to get to several scenic locations (snorkeling, hiking, waterfalls, etc.). Our host, Michel, was very friendly, and prepared the place for us even though we booked it at the last minute.

Logement correspondant à la description. Environnement super calme dans une localité un peu isolée, vraiment très agréable. Nola, la personne chargée de l'accueil est une de personnes les plus gentilles qu'il m'est arrivé de croiser dans ma vie. Très disponible, extrêmement agréable et amicale, réactive, toujours souriante, empathique... Bref, une vraie perle ! Des courses avaient été faites. Frigo bien garni, petites attentions facilitant bien notre arrivée et les premiers jours. C'est très appréciable et ça aide bien. Bravo pour cette initiative. Ena aussi reste disponible et très réactive si besoin. Bref, de très bons hôtes. Merci pour tout.

it's as described. simple basic accommodation . the beds were comfortable , the kitchen was very basically equipped but food in the village was cheap so we are out most nights. kimani was an excellent host, atentive and helpful. we would stay there again.

Hébergement conforme au descriptif, très bon accueil par la maman qui est adorable. Marvin a toujours répondu à nos questions et attentes. A été très réactif jusqu'à nous faire apporter des lampes lors de la tempête, si besoin. Hébergement bien situé pour visiter le nord. Belle cascade sur la droite à 13 minutes en voiture. Très belle vue et beaux coucher de soleil. Village juste en bas, un peu bruyant mais rien de vraiment gênant. Nous sommes aux Caraïbes et ce sont les vacances. La plage du village en revanche n'est pas très propre. Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Merci à Marvin et à sa maman
