Pura Uvita was the perfect place for us. The adventure began when going up that mountain. What fun! Loved being in the rainforest. Plenty of wildlife to entertain us. We were prepared and brought binoculars. Enjoyed the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, the whale’s tail, and the sunsets. We had a great time exploring Uvita and surrounding areas. Loren, the property manager, assisted with recommendations, which we took, and booked a jungle boat tour, an ATV tour, and massages at the house. We also booked a private chef, who came to the house and prepared a meal of local cuisine and cocktails. We really enjoyed all of our adventures and moments of relaxation. Our stay was short, but sweet. Would love to return to the beauty and warmth of Uvita, and to the kindness of the people of Costa Rica. Thank you, Andrea and Loren for a memorable stay. Everything was amazing!

The cabin is a dream. Ideal for seeing wildlife, very secluded, and simple but with everything you need! Wouter is a 10/10 host who responds right away and gave us several fabulous recommendations that gave us some of our favorite memories. Could not recommend enough for nature-lovers!

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The home was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The kids loved the pool! The location was great, walking distance to groceries store, bakery and restaurants. We loved Indómitos for a great vegetarian meal. Checking in and out was easy and always a quick response time from the concierge service.

Absolutely loved our stay at Carlos' place! If you are looking for a beautiful and private location with a jungle type feel, but still relatively close to nearby towns and activities this is the perfect place. The house was pristine, spacious, modern and beautiful with incredible sounds of the jungle through the wall to wall and ceiling to floor screen door and large window openings...the experience was of being outside while inside the house. The walk through the jungle to the community waterfall was magical. Birds abound; we also saw some deer. Carlos was a perfect host - nearby if we needed him, with great local recommendations and advice. The gated neighborhood is right off the main road yet incredibly private. The only time a 4x4 is needed is driving through the community road and up a short hill to the house. There is a stunning beach very close by that almost brought me to tears at sunset due to the incredible beauty. Highly recommend this place!

This is a beautiful property. The house has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is so well stocked cooking is easy. The beds are great and having an ensuite bath is a plus. The best part of all is the outdoor area. It is gorgeous. And the pool water is warm! We saw howlers down by the river, and capuchins briefly. An added plus is the proximity to Playa Ventanas. It is a small sandy beach that is wonderful for swimming. Angela is lovely and so is her family. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Such a beautiful place, the ocean views were insane and we saw all sorts of wildlife. The hosts were great as well. The road getting up is definitely rough but my boyfriend and I thought it was the funniest part of our trip just bouncing around back and forth 😂. Overall this place is amazing and worth booking!

Fantastic stay! The pictures don’t do it justice. The pool, the interior, the views, and the vibe are all better than I expected. Joe is extremely friendly and responsive. I even requested to boost the internet speed as I run a remote business. Joe happily accepted, and the internet speed nearly doubled. It’s been one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. Come check this place out already.

We were happy with our stay. The house was in a beautiful location with daily visits by the local toucans. The house was spacious with stunning views and close to many beaches and restaurants. We liked that it was only about 5 min away from the main road and close to Playa Dominicalito. Domincal was a safe 4km down the main road.

The accomodation is probably understated in how nice it is. The grounds are so well maintained. They have even built a small path down the hill to capture more of the spectacular sunsets over the Pacific. The pavilion/outdoor cooking area is superb with a pizza oven, Blackstone grill and gas grill. There is even a fridge here for storing your poolside or dinner drinks. The fridge also has a large pitcher full with nice cold water. There is a full suite of appliances including a blender in the room which came in handy for fresh smoothies every morning. We did have an issue one night with rain leaking into the Bathroom and while they were prepared to deal with it in the moment we asked them not to worry as we were headed to bed. I have no doubt that the repair is likely already done. Don't let this issue dissuade. you from a beautiful place. It was also nice to see recycle and compost options on site to help with our footprint. Highly recommended!!!!

We had a great time at the house my wife, my two kids and I. It felt very nice and peaceful to come back there after a day at the beach or on the trails. The view and surroundings are amazing. A lot of birds around and passing by including toucan and red parrots which always made the moment memorable and extraordinary. House is slightly remote but easily accessible with any 4x4. FYI the power supply is a bit unstable in case of heavy rains.

nous avons passé 5 nuits dans la maison. Natasha a répondu rapidement à nos demandes. L'emplacement a l'écart du bruit nous a parfaitement convenu, ainsi que le confort, le calme de l'environnement et surtout ne pas manquer la promenade en sortant de la maison sur la gauche sur un chemin qui monte , nous y avons vu tous les soirs un splendide coucher de soleil et surtout vers les 17h huit toucans qui se nourrissait à 20 mètres de nous.....sans parler des autres espèces. C'est à cet endroit que nous avons pu admirer la beauté des toucans. Au retour de la promenade la piscine est très agréable avec ses lumières A faire en bateau le parc de Corcovado et nous nous sommes posé à la plage de hémosia pour nous reposer avant le retour Très bon séjour je recommande

Muy bueno todo Carles y su coanfitrión Flavio siempre respondían rápidamente y fueron amables y gentiles de principio a fin El Lugar es sumamente cercano al parque nacional Marino Ballena y muy céntrico con supermercados restaurantes cerca y la casa muy bonita tal como se muestra en fotos volveré algún día 😊.

This jungle paradise is special. You’re truly nestled within nature and you’ll never forget the visits from the monkeys. The property overall is beautiful with a view of the jungle/ocean in the distance and it’s only a couple of minutes to get down to the main road. I’d highly recommend this place for a one of a kind stay in Uvita!

Wonderful! We would definitely return. This place is at the end of a dead end road so it is very private and serene. We are family of 8 with children and the pool is awesome. Found the place just as the pictures and descriptions are listed. We love nature and birds and were not disappointed. This is the dry season so the road in was fine. I believe we could have made the drive without 4x4. It does take a minimum of twelve minutes to reach the casa from the paved highway. The place was not booked much this month and Suzanne offered to let us stay longer for a discount but we had to get home but thank you anyway. The electricity went off for a couple hours one day and the internet went out a couple of times but we have been to Costa Rica three times and have come to expect a little of that. Go ahead and book this property and you will not be disappointed.

The place is a dream…. No other words needed! We bought everything we needed and didn’t leave the place for 4 days straight! I absolutely recommend 🙏❤️

Wonderful place with a delightful pool for the end of the day to relax in. Terrific restaurants in area. Bird watching from back porch. Easy access to beaches and area overall. Very helpful staff-Jeremy in particular. Highly recommended.

This home was lovely, it’s about a 20/25 minute trip to the beach but well worth it. So much wildlife but the owner is the sweetest woman you will ever meet! An amazing experience!

Our first trip during this visit to Costa Rica was Jan’s place. Excellent choice to start our vacation. The house is beautiful, cozy and well equipped. José, the local caretaker made sure to make us feel at home and gave us useful information and tips. Jan, the home owner was extremely friendly and responsive. His recommendations were very useful during our holiday. The property felt right away like home and was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The surroundings and views were stunning. Every day we would start early in the morning watching and photographing the beautiful birds in the garden and surroundings, followed by breakfast at the terrace. During the day there were plenty of options to keep busy: enjoy the walks at the property itself or go to the beach for example. Our favorite place by far, the waterfall at Eco Chontales (one hour away). The Nauyaca waterfall is definitely worth a visit too. We absolutely loved the house and strongly recommend it!

We loved our stay! Our host was great and very responsive and helpful. The location was so beautiful and we felt very safe. We saw white face monkeys, Howler monkeys, tucans, iguanas, coatis, and more from right on the balcony. The road up is steep, but had amazing views. We could walk to Dominicalito beach and to the little supermarket in the small town of Dominicalito. It was also a convenient location to visit the waterfalls, Uvita, Playa Arco, etc. We loved our stay so much & will definitely stay here again in the future.
