We had a fantastic few days at Holly Cottage, they really have thought of everything! Instruction videos, chargers by the beds, lovely welcome tray of goodies and wine. The cottage is so tranquil with loads to do nearby. We highly recommend the museum quarter and the fruit market area in Hull as well The Deep and Beverley. The garden and hot tub are also great. A few people had mentioned rules in the reviews but they were all just sensible advice and common sense and not an issue whatsoever. We loved our stay and will be back, thanks so much for a lovely break ⭐

We had a wonderful stay at Rosewall Cottage. It was extremely peaceful and the cottage cozy and comfortable with everything we could have needed. We loved seeing the chickens in the garden and listening to their funny little noises! Lia was very responsive and sent a brilliant mini video showing the street view of the property, making the cottage super easy to find. A fantastic place to stay for my uncles 80th birthday surprise. Thank you Lia, you are a great host.

This was a perfect place for what we wanted. Very peaceful but plenty within easy reach. The grounds were beautifully kept and the court yard with the hot tub was such a nice place to be. The Stables had everything we needed - lovely touch with the treats provided on arrival - and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We visited the local pub which was only a 5 minute walk. We would definitely visit again and recommend to others. Thank you

We had a lovely stay at this property, it was remote and quiet which was perfect for a couples overnight getaway. The hot tub was the highlight and we loved how there was lights and curtains so you could stay in after dark and also have some privacy. Everywhere was clean and tidy and there was every utensil available to make dinner in the evening, tea coffee milk and biscuits were also a lovely touch, we would definitely recommend! Oh my goodness, what a beautiful home you have. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The cinema room sold this property to us and it was even better in person. The whole house was beautifully decorated. Felt like a cottage out of a movie. Everything you could need and more... welcome hamper, dressing gown and slippers, blankets, netflix, prime tv, games, books galore, enough dvds to reopen a local blockbusters! Hot tub was spotless, and not overlooked. The sofas and beds were comfortable. My daughter had an accident and the hosts washed her onesie and hung on line for us. Left us alone but text on first night to check we didnt need anything. Recommending this place to everyone I know. One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Probably more expensive than we normally look at but this was definitely worth every penny. They even left a birthday banner and cake for my little boy. Not one negative thing about this place. We loved our stay at Wendy's cottage. It was beautifully clean with a lovely comfortable bed and an amazing shower! Everything you could need for a few days away. The little extra touches were really lovely too. The hot tub was the icing on the cake!

Another lovely holiday at one of our favourite places to stay! Such a comfortable place giving room and space for family gatherings . The hot tub was a welcome addition and a treat after doing numerous walks along the trails which are literally on the doorstep of the property. Great butchers for bbq and handy well stocked co op just down the road and the Chinese in the village was fantastic! A great place to stay and I would recommend to others! Jennie is a great host and easy to communicate with.

The house was very clean and had lots of room . We loved the hot tub and the BBQ. The house was on a small housing estate backing on to a field. Good for a girls catch up get away. The outdoor space and furniture was tired … but it is early in the season . Good value and well placed to visit York.

My children, dog and I had a wonderful two night's at Henny's! It is such a sweet house full of cottage character and a peaceful setting. We were hardly aware that we were at the bottom of Henny's garden. Lovely additional things include a little private rear garden overlooking fields and the big Lincolnshire sky, with bench swing and garden house.

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Lovely place, ideally located. Beds very comfy. Log burner was great and kicked out a lot of heat. Great pub a stones throw and a chippy. Nice touches with the bath salts and lovely smelling soap. DON’T forget your towels!

Fantastic clean and homely cottage, very well equipped kitchen with more than enough appliances, large collection of books and games, lovely wood burner in cosy lounge area with comfy seats, upstairs to lovely spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and also a lovely sun lounge off the landing, all in all a great cottage in a lovely local area, would definitely recommend it, well done Keith & Sheena loved the stay

A spacious cottage in a peaceful location, perfect for a quiet get away. The family have created a lovely place to stay and you feel part of the farm experience, being so close to the animals was an added bonus.

Maeve was there to welcome us when we checked in and was very helpful with making sure we had everything and gave us some really good recommendations! The air b&b was lovely, clean and in such a good location to walk to castleton and hope. Also close by to a lot of great places to visit! Having the view of mam tor from the back garden was just amazing! We didn’t want for anything while we were there and we can’t wait to come back :)

Beautifully renovated with great detail to warmth and comfort. Fantastic location if you just want to plant yourself and not get in the car again. Endless walks out from the front door. Drop dead gorgeous location high on the hillside at the end of a track.

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Simon communicated well with us and made sure we settled in. Nice location for our stay and perfect for the two of us and child who loved seeing the chickens on the farm.

The Cowshed is nice & cosy with a comfortable bed. All amenities pristine. Very peaceful & quiet. Everything included for an enjoyable stay. Travelled for an assignment in a local village and stayed on to enjoy the lovely countryside. Would stay again if in the area. Recommended.

Celebrated Husband’s 50th birthday with our family. Fantastic accommodation, don’t feel the pictures do it justice. Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, everything you could possibly need. Village lovely to walk around, good choice of shops and pubs. Communication good and prompt. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

SnapTin is the most beautiful cottage we have ever stayed in. The house itself has been lovingly restored and thoughtfully made into the most glorious holiday home with stylish furnishings and art work. Helen is a wonderful and generous host being communicative and also providing extremely thoughtful touches. We enjoyed the breakfast basket, the fizz and the little treats which made us feel welcome straight away. The situation of the house is almost at the end of a terrace right near a woodland so you can sit outside and really feel that you are in the countryside even though you are 5 mins walk from the centre of Bakewell. There are plenty of fabulous walks from the cottage with an abundance of guide books to choose from in the cottage. There is a designated car parking space which is easy to navigate and just a short walk from the door. We truly felt sad on leaving.

This place is probably the nicest place our little family have ever stayed, the surroundings were idyllic, Claire was warm and welcoming and provided books, dvds, board games, toys and Lego so both of our boys were over the moon. The cottage was spotless, the gardens were stunning and the outdoor play set was a real hit. We saw a real variety of wildlife throughout our stay which was magical. lovely cottage for a family of four, Winster is a beautiful village with great walks on the doorstep. Rod was a perfect host and allowed us to use their beautiful garden while they were away.

Lovely cosy cottage. Lots of provisions in the cupboards and milk in the fridge- ready to start your holiday immediately. Add to this a very responsive host, a beautiful village and magnificent surroundings I can only say - “highly recommend” Catherine
