Thank you your place was ideal for our stay, very central and close to family we were visiting

We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

Great location for both the City and Peaks. Open plan living area gave plenty of space for 6 adults, an infant and a pet. The place was well-equipped and well-thought-out with everything we needed.

Beautiful home and excellent hosts. Always ready to answer any questions we had and popped by when we needed help Would 100% stay here again. The home is well equipped and decorated to a high standard. The area is peaceful and perfect for a getaway. We was here for a friend's wedding, so didn't get to explore the area too much but the house was a great place to relax after a long day. Thanks to Robbie & Kelly for being excellent hosts.

We booked really last minute and Bethan as great. Very quick and clear communication. House was exactly as described and worked perfectly for what we needed. The bathroom is a particular highlight, very clean, nicely decorated with a great shower and bath. We will definitely look to stay again whilst visiting family in the area.

A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

William's place was lovely for the couple of days we spent in Castleton. Instructions and directions were accurate and pro-active, allowing us to arrive early and claim a rare free parking space. Location is excellent and exactly as described. William gave some excellent local recommendations and we ate at the nearby Castle pub, which was good. There are quite a few pubs within a few minutes walking distance, all seemed pretty good. Would also recommend the Castleton Coffee shop for great coffee and pastries. There are lots of great walks nearby, all easily accessible from Castleton. The property is cozy but plenty of room for two. Kitchen has everything you'd expect and a welcome bottle of milk for a cuppa! There was a log burner fire, all ready to go, plus plenty of TV options and board games. Bedroom was nice and spacious, bathroom a little snug but no problems. Shower was was good for washing off a long day"s walking. All in all, very enjoyable and highly recommended.

As always cottage, was beautifully clean and prepared for us and our dog. As we ate in this time were impressed that all the utensils needed were there, hosts were as attentive and welcoming as always. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely be returning.

Everything about the property was absolutely perfect. We stayed only for one night, but we hope to return and stay for longer. It was super cosy, lovely and warm, the most luxurious bathroom, comfy beds and super hot showers. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous from the outside, with lots of original features and character, but also with all the amenities and luxuries on top.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

Great place for a get together, pool was nice and warm and kids loved it. Also useful to have different cottages so everyone could get a nap or work done. Would recommend

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

We loved our stay at the cottage. Festively decorated and we had a nice welcome surprise on arrival. Check-in was super easy and we had quick replies with any queries we had. Comfy beds and vintage decor and furniture. Only negative was that I thought the radiator in the double room wasn’t working, until check out day when I realised it was just turned down to zero! So I was chilly most nights! 🤣. The swimming pool was great and we had it all to ourselves which was a bonus. I didn’t see the games room but friends kids that visited had a great time there. I would recommend and I would stay again for sure!

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

The Cowshed is nice & cosy with a comfortable bed. All amenities pristine. Very peaceful & quiet. Everything included for an enjoyable stay. Travelled for an assignment in a local village and stayed on to enjoy the lovely countryside. Would stay again if in the area. Recommended.

I recently stayed at clematis cottage it has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The cottage is a great place to unwind after a day of muddy walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside. The cottage was well-equipped and maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. I couldn't fault anything during my time there it was simply delightful! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape into nature and enjoy a peaceful retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

We had a wonderful stay at this impeccably clean and inviting home. Nestled in the peaceful countryside, it offers the perfect isolated escape for relaxation. Communication with the hosts was seamless, ensuring a smooth experience. Do plan ahead for supplies, as it’s a bit far from shopping centers. We highly recommend this serene haven and would gladly return!

We stayed at Wendy’s as a base for hiking around the Peak District. The location was spot on! There were cafes and pubs only a few steps away, many supermarkets only a 10 minute drive (if that) and the hikes we wanted to do were only up to 30 minutes drive away (depending on what hikes you choose of course). The property is stunning! The beds were comfortable, it was cosy and warm. The bath was a big hit post hike! I’d advise anyone with mobility issues that the two single beds are in the upstairs bedroom which have very steep steps, but this what you should expect from a cottage. Just perfect! Thank you Wendy. We certainly would come back!!

There’s no where else we’d rather have spent our honeymoon than our home from home. The heart banners, card and gift was a wonderful surprise but typical of Tracey who is certainly the best host we’ve ever encountered. As usual the place was beautifully clean and Tracey was able to let us in a little earlier than 3pm which was massively appreciated. We can’t wait to go back - next time we might not leave 😁 x
